I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Planet Fitness. The gym is clean, the equipment is always in good shape, and the staff is friendly every time I walk in. I love that the atmosphere is relaxed and never intimidating, which makes it easy to focus on my workout. For the price, you really can’t beat the value—especially with the massage chairs and tanning included on the Black Card. Overall, it’s a great place to stay consistent and feel comfortable working out.

Staff always seem on the ball, checking equipment, scanning people in, staying busy with little things. The gym is always clean when I go, the bathrooms and locker rooms also are always clean. Never too busy when I go for a college town so thats a bonus. The equipment is a little close together but it is a smaller gym, I do like that they have little alcoves of different equipment away from the bulk of it all if you want to do stretches or your own workout.

I’m a black card member from a different city. Due to my travels I’ve been to over 30 planet fitness facilities. This store was dingy, and the sales counter wasn’t near the door, so it’s a bit concerning safety wise, and the facility is not in the best area of town. I wanted my girlfriend to see the facilities and join theNacogdoches planet fitness. I didn’t feel like signing in, nor leaving my information prior to looking at the facility. The female who waited on us, acted like it was her first day, The manager came over and when I said, “Im good, I don’t like the lack of professionalism”, there was no attempt to try to sell us anything, or find out what the problem was. The place was dirty, and the lack of professionalism were the reasons, I didn’t sign Her up. Maybe try updating the facility, so it doesn’t look like Nursery school Chairs. Definitely a case of turning a buyer into a looker

Terrible place to go to!! They will keep charging you even after your membership has been cancelled. And then throw in some more fees before the cancellation and once it is cancelled then they ‘can’t help you’. The lady in the office - her favorite word is ‘unfortunately’ the only reason it got one star from me is bc I had to give one to warn future customers of this. Go to Anytime Fitness. At least they will go above and beyond to help you.

Planet Fitness Nacogdoches is great! Great equipment, super clean, showers, lockers, and you rarely have to wait for equipment. Even during their busiest time: 3-5:00pm. Shout out to Dakota and Carry; they’re both professionals and personable!
The black card price of $27 per month is still cheaper than any of the other gyms in Nacogdoches. The black card membership includes tanning beds, infrared units with vibration plates, 2 massage chairs, and water generated massage beds.
My only constructive criticism is they don’t play enough country music, and they need to get a couple saunas! Other than that, I love planet fitness in Nacogdoches.

Look, we all know planet fitness has a reputation and to be frank, I'm sure its somewhat deserved. However, after visiting the Nacogdoches location, I completely disagree with the stereotypes mentioned about the place. This gym is clean, the equipment is well maintained, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the trainer can actually train you. They definitely deserve more than 5 stars at this location. The staff is usually rude and the equipment is always down. When you walk in you’re greeted by an unwelcoming staff. I have had my membership for abt 3 yrs and I never use it because it’s always some front desk drama. Once they had given my membership to someone else, but was still charging me and argued and was rude at first but I wouldn’t take no for an answer bc I pay $27 a month and I refused to allow them to give my membership to someone else. It constantly something, they make me show my ID and as if I’m not the one paying for it and I have a black card membership! RUDE and very unprofessional, especially Ben! I’m looking for a new gym that’s welcoming and appropriative of the fact that I am a longtime gym member.

I enjoy the Total Body Enhancement(Redlight Therapy) and I have just started tanning. I like that I can go at anytime and not feel that I am being judged. The employee's at both the Lufkin and Nacogdoches gyms are very polite and personable and greet us when we come in. I would very much recommend both gyms if you want a great experience. I will say that the gym in Lufkin is not as busy as the Nacogdoches gym.

Rated 4 stars until I'm able to get the full experience and access all areas of membership. Construction is being done inside the facility, that's preventing that.
