Not a bad gym. I like working out late night because it is always crowded during the day. The young guy that works late night with the long black hair keeps the gym clean. He is always cleaning. Please give him a raise.

Couple years ago I signed up and was frequently at the gym, then I moved somewhere that didn't have a PF nearby so I canceled my membership (this was after I already had it for about 2 years) as I was canceling it I found out they were double charging me the entire time, wasn't happy but I took the loss figuring it should've noticed sooner, I informed the manager about it while I was canceling (for some reason they were the only one that can cancel memberships) after days of trying to catch them at work cause they were never around. Fast forward to today (about 1 1/2 years) after I had gone through the hassle of canceling my membership IM STILL BEING CHARGED, I'm going to assume it was just incompetence on the managers part and I hope they are no longer there, but over all that time im now about $600 extra dollars out at least in gym membership fees that should not have existed. 10/10 never signing up with you guys again. And make it easier to cancel these things, why do I HAVE to be there in person when a manager isn't guaranteed to be there when people what to cancel, just let me do it online so I don't have to spend the extra hour an a half doing this. Ill see you in a bit to to cancel again i guess

Edit 10/21/2025 - They rearranged the machines, I am guessing to add more....and, both the upright bikes and the seated bikes are WAY to close together. There's only 5 of each and when you're on one of the bikes, you'd hardly have to reach out to touch the stranger next to you and you have to like wiggle in to avoid touching them when you're getting on the bike. The last time we went the first, third, and fifth bikes were taken so I took the second and my hubby took the fourth...I could smell the guy next to me, he didn't stink but I could smell him because we were so close together. It was really uncomfortable to be working out so closely to two strangers. 😮‍💨🥺😞

My hubby and I have been coming here for over a month and are thoroughly enjoying it!!! It's always clean, well lit, machines of every level everywhere, and I love the staff. I always feel super encouraged/engaged by their greetings and overall temperament!! There to help however needed, but not in your face about it...lol! Everything you'd every want or need for whatever fitness journey you may be on!! Also, true to their slogan, really feels like a judgement free zone. The patrons seem to keep to themselves outside of courteous casual engagement. Thank you for being a comfortable spot to sweat! Lol!!

I would like to have someone oversee the 30 min circuit training station. You have people who don't follow the rules that are posted, and when I work out in there and I need to do the next machine, that person is still there either sitting there texting on their phone or just looking at something. Sorry but this gym no longer meets my needs. I always loved going there as a senior citizen because there was plenty of room to maneuver through the equipment and it was known for being a judgement free zone. The circuit was secluded for us so that we could work through the machines at a steady pace without being in anyone’s way. The equipment was easy to get on and off so we weren’t concerned with falling. Others had the greater part of the gym to use with the bigger machines and for heavier workouts. Now the gym is very crowded with additional machines. I know that this indicates the financial aspirations off the CEO’s over the needs of a population that would still like to go to a gym but Planet Fitness has now become like all the other gyms in town who have no room for the seniors at a reasonable price.

This is a revised review because this gym is completely different. I was so surprised to find that about 80% or more of the equipment is brand new, upgraded, and modernized. I didn’t have to wait for anything. There is so much more. Today I felt incredibly motivated to workout when I found that I could do more without waiting… it’s so clean!!! 100% better than ever. I just started going to this location because of the 30 minute express workout and the total body enhancement. Was very disappointed when I walked in yesterday to find that the express
Workout machines had been replaced. I was told by the staff at the front desk that they thought all of the express machines were being replaced in all PF’s. I hope this is not true because I will be canceling my membership. The express workout is one of the reasons I have a membership.
The supposed circuit I was told was close to the express workout. I do not agree and most of the circuit machines are used for sitting and getting on social media.
I almost cancelled my membership but decided to not to find out if all the express workout machines at all locations are being replaced.
Won’t be back to this location.

The staff do what they can but has a constant turnover due to TayMax Group not paying them a competitive wage and members constantly complaining to them about broken things in the gym (5 paper towel dispensers) being a big item. If part of working out here is wiping down equipment then the items provided should be working at all times. The light is with several new gyms set to open in the area maybe the franchisees will start taking care of its members and staff better after a grand exodus of both.

I was very disappointed with this Planet fitness, it was dirty and the large ceiling fans were off, and those were extremely dirty as well. The staff at the front desk, 3 of them, were chatting at least 95% of the time, and no one was cleaning or dusting or filling the cleaning spray bottles. I get that this is probably an older gym, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be clean. I am visiting from out of town and my usual gym, planet fitness, is so much cleaner and well maintained.

You go here for two reasons.
A: It's cheap
B: It's 24/7 fitting mine (your) non-standard schedule.

Otherwise, it's bog standard for Planet Fitness. Cardio heavy. Adequate selection of weight machines. Dumbbells are the only free weights. Keep that in mind and you'll be perfectly satisfied with what you get for the price. Just don't come here expecting anything like an LA Fitness, 24 hour Fitness, or Gold's gym.

Being open during business hours as posted is step 1 to being in business and honoring paying customers. I parked outside this facility for 30 mins (10 minutes before the posted opening time + 20 minutes after) and no one was there — other customers stood outside waiting as well. This is unacceptable! If you cannot provide the services as noted in your service contract, you should close this location. I had to take a photo because I could not believe my eyes.

In response to the reply from PF: I did call, multiple times — no one answered the phone. Thanks for the suggestion — I gave it a good try. It is what it is and I repeat what I said yet again today — if you cannot meet the simple requirements of being open for business to include servicing your customers, this location should not be open. It is a waste of people’s time, respectfully.

Won't cancel membership unless you are in person even though I signed up online. They also won't change my home gym to another location when I call I've tried multiple times. They tell me they need a manager and they are not in and they don't know when they will be.

The gym itself is also usually overcrowded. They need to add more equipment to accommodate all of their members better.

Update I called the manager number that was provided in the reply to my review. He asked for a bunch of info to verify my account and put me on hold for a while. He came back to tell me that he cannot transfer my home gym location because of a pending payment. I cannot wait for the new click to cancel FTC laws to go into effect in less than a month to stop this absolutely absurd behavior.

Wasn't bad last year but they have went down hill. No service, the 30 minute training is over run by people using the machines as seats so they can do their social media or people from the rest of the gym taking over a machine because they don't want to wait for one in the general gym. It would probably be better if they actually had a Manager, we have asked for one 5 or 6 times and they are never there. A manager may solve all the employees being behind the counter all the time too. It's a big purple joke!

Canceled my membership last week in person because that's literally the only way you can do so only to still get charged full membership fee for this month.When I went im to canel I even asked them if there was anything else needed or needed to know. The girl said no your good. Called to ask them about it and was told sorry "no-one" explained to you if it is not canceled 10 day before billing period you will still be charged. So basically sorry our own employees can't explain the process at time of canceling and there is nothing they can do about it. I've been coming here for 6 years the place use to be very clean pre covid. The manager at the time was spot on making sure everything was clean. But now the floor is really bad most of the time. There's clumps of hair around the equipment all over the gym. They vacuum and clean the main walkways but from what I see on a regular basis NOT around the equipment.

Be aware of this club! My son has been trying to cancel his membership since last November. He moved away so he cannot go into the club to cancel. They won't let you cancel over the phone. They require a letter. He has sent the letter twice but continues to be charged. I'm sure they just toss away the letter so they can continue to charge. Finally had to cancel the credit card to stop the charges. If you move, make sure you go into the club to cancel and get a receipt in hand. Planet fitness corporate is of no help in these situations because each club is a franchise. Be wary of joining this club!

I’ve worked out at a lot of PF locations across TX and definitely recommend this location. I felt safe when I drove into the parking lot which is HUGE. Once inside, I was happy to see it was clean, including the restrooms, equipment seemed was well maintained, weights were properly racked after use, cleaning stations were stocked and the desk was manned. On 6/12/2024 around 8:30-9:30 pm I went to the bathroom and there was no sign at the entrance. After I finished and walked out of the stall there was a female and male worker inside the bathroom talking. There were also 3 other males that were about to start changing and I don't think they noticed her yet. I walked out to notify the manager and I told her that there was a female worker in the mens bathroom and she just said OK they need to clean it and thats why theres a sign. I said ok but there wasn't one. Then she said there will always be men going in and out of there and they still need to clean the bathroom. She immediately got defensive. I had no problem and just wanted to notify her of this, but now I have a problem. I told her real slow, there was no sign when I first went in and there was already people in there, so they need to put the sign up and then wait for them to leave. She then said well did they let you know they were coming in and I said No they did not. After all that then she replied saying, ok I will let them know next time to make it known before going in. At know point did she tell the workers to stop what they are doing and wait on the customers to get changed or finish what there doing. Looks like they will be loosing another customer.

After asking for help she responded with “ well is this your home club or not “ (very heavy with the attitude ) so I then said “ yes that is why I am calling this location” and she then said “ I didn’t answer the phone so you can give me attitude and be smart with me” this is extremely unprofessional and shameful. I would be embarrassed to work or be a part of a club where this is how customers a treated right off the bat. I had to hang up and solve the issue on my own instead of getting help from someone who should be able to respectfully answer such simple questions. Employee should be held accountable for giving this club such a bad First impression.
