Today was my first time visiting this location and I absolutely love it. Very friendly people that goes to this gym. Very clean and the young lady that was working was very nice. Young guy working there stopped me, he said I cannot use a backpack in the floor. He said the manager is very adamant about this. It’s a strict rule.

I needed this time only to have my backpack with me because I forgot my lock and have valuables. Way to treat a lifelong customer, can’t do a one time exception.

I read some of the one star reviews...wow, some guy wants to watch sports in the massage room; another wants to work out barefooted.
Bare feet and street shoes are NEVER permitted on the workout floor in gyms in this country.
That aside; Brittany has customer service down to an art.
Everyone was great when I came in to sign up.

I recently made the switch to Planet Fitness Oak Ridge North and it was the best decision ever. I have only been a member for 3 days but it’s clear that the staff is one-of-kind. The GM, AGM, and Front Desk staff are always so friendly and you see them roaming the gym constantly ensuring every single member is doing okay as well as keeping up with the overall cleanliness of the property. They refill the sanitation bottles like clockwork and are always so happy! That’s a great sign in regard to management!

Employee Trist is one of the reasons why I tranferred my home club to the Oak Ridge location. He has known & called me by my name & title (Dr.) since the first day & every day since …even before I check in. The associates, management & guest are friendly & welcoming to all. I joined planet fitness for my overall health. Once I found out I could get a trainer to help I was so happy. My trainer syemon is the BEST. He pushes me to do exercises to get the results I’m looking for. He is also very attentive in making sure I’m doing the exercises correctly and not hurting myself. On a side note it’s always clean when I come never had a DIRTY experience thus for. I want to thank my trainer and the staff for being so kind every time I walk in. I’ll be coming here for a longggg time…

This is a great gym but for the love of God please learn to work your AC/heater. It’s 50 degrees outside and the AC is blasting everyone in here. I shouldn’t be working out with goosebumps cause the gym doesn’t know how to shut off the AC when it’s 50 or below outside. This is a constant issue for a lot of members

Signed up online, came for 1st visit. 3-4 associates at the front desk. One associate was helping a client. Two other associates were on the computer with back to door. I'm guessing no one saw me, then one associate adjusted the ac and looked my way. Another client came in behind me and started talking w one of the employees with their back to the door and was helped. None of the associates acknowledged me at all. I truly felt invisible and left. Called in and I beleive the associates name was Jesse and he was phenomenal and positive. Also the same associate that must not have seen me before was greeting everyone with his head on a swivel. It was two totally different experiences.

Thank you for the response, If manager was the one that had the jacket and glasses on, he was the one that wasn't able to acknowledge me on my initial visit. When I came back and Jessie was helping me cancel. The same guy in the coat and glasses was the one with his head on the swival and was greeting every female that came in. It was then that I knew I was not welcomed.

If I can leave 0 stars I would. As usual I work out without my shoes. I also have a terrible bruise on my toe. One of the tall African woman with a bully nose ring came up to me as I was on the stairmaster saying to put my shoes back on. I told her no one's ever told me anything. I travel a lot and been to many locations. No ones EVER told my anything about working out without shoes. She said I would have to put them on or leave but I can come back the next day. I put my shoes on asked for the managers info and I told the other dude African with glasses tall "I did not like the way y'all treated me yesterday" the day prior 2 African female came hunting me down in the locker room telling me to scan. I did about 15 min prior. I left and came back real quick. After I said "y'all" the African dude asked me "what do u mean y'all" I DID NOT MEAN OR SAY ANYTHING RACIAL AT ALL. They both told me to leave. I was on the stairmaster on the far left. I was HARASSED AND TARGETED for being BROWN. LITERALLY. Everyone that's works their has a nasty attitude. They don't get paid no more than maybe $12 an hour. There doing too much for that. THIS LOCATION IS DIRTY. NEVER ANY PAPER TOWELS. LOCKER ROOM DIRTY. It's the tall black guy with glasses that cleans. THIS LOCATION IS DIRTY AND RACIST. I went to another location and I asked about the shoes the lady at the front desk said "it's not a reason to be kicked off" It's the NO JUDGEMENT ZONE. There was no reason for this. I've cancelled my membership because because PF is TERRIBLE. I have them another shot when I recently moved here because there are no TruFit gyms in Houston. After this I will be cancelling my membership and NEVER JOINING AGAIN. I'M TRAUMATIZED!!!

Thanks to “Michelle” (over night staff) “plus more” for the superior customer service experience…I’m a new member of Planet Fitness, and I’m thrilled to be here. The entire building is spotlessly clean, from the equipment to the floors, bathrooms, and even the cleaning stations. These stations are always visible and stocked with cleaning supplies for members.

The amenities at Planet Fitness are top-notch, and the staff is always ready to help with any questions you may have. I’ve noticed that the staff, especially early in the morning around 4 am, is particularly friendly and knowledgeable. I was there around 4 am, enjoying the many services Planet Fitness offers.

I love working out at the planet fitness in the woodlands. It’s clean, the set up is nice, and all of the machines work. The team members are always welcoming. The first photo is the Cryotherapy lounge, the second is the Wellness Pod. Third is the red light therapy, forth is the hybrid tanning that does both at the same time. There are also stand up tanning booths, heated hydro massage lounges, and deep tissue massage chairs.
If you have a standard membership, it's very much worth the extra $10/mo for access to the Black Card Spa!

I was so excited about this gym. Day one I went, waited for almost 20 mins and no one came out for me to use the tanning bed or chairs. At that point I left. Day two, it was will over 15 mins waiting for someone to come to the front and when they did they had no idea how to turn the bed on.

Great gym. Very clean! Super friendly staff that doesn’t work on commission, so there’s no pressure to join when you go visit to check it out. Not crowded at all, and you can check the “crowd meter” in their app before you go. Doesn’t have group classes or childcare, but those aren’t my needs. Black card membership includes massage chairs, tanning, hydro massage, and more. Totally worth it!

I love the price, location, cleanliness of the gym, and the friendly welcome everytime I come in! The gym also gives me a pretty good variety for all my workout needs. But, I wouldn’t mind a few more machine options not offered, and a barbell bar to weight lift (smith machines are great, but I’d love a barbell bar to work with too). I have been going to this gym for a month now and I really like it. fair price $15 a month! it has all the equipment i need or similar ones. It is clean including the ladies locker and shower. I go during the low times 10 am to 3pm so it’s always extremely nice and pleasant and not crowded.
