From the moment we walked in, I was greeted with a quick and warm welcome by Jaiden. He was fantastic! He immediately offered a tour and was incredibly thorough. Jaiden was very personable, professional, and even cracked a few jokes. He is definitely the kind of team member I would look forward to speaking to, especially if an issue or concern arose.

I absolutely love this location! The gym is very clean, well-kept, has plenty of equipment, and is located in a very nice shopping plaza.

I’ve been going to Planet Fitness for a while now, and it has consistently gone downhill. The gym is overcrowded, especially in the evenings when it’s packed with unsupervised teens who take up machines just hanging out or filming themselves, making it impossible to get a real workout done.

The staff is rude and unhelpful, more focused on enforcing minor dress code violations than actually maintaining a clean and functional gym. The bathrooms are dirty, with a constant smell of urine, and the paper towel dispensers are almost always empty, making it hard to clean equipment. It’s clear that cleanliness and member experience are not priorities here.

Management lacks empathy and fails to treat members with basic respect, it overshadows everything else. I hope corporate takes these complaints seriously and invests in better training and oversight, because right now, this location does not reflect the “Judgment Free Zone” that Planet Fitness claims to stand for.

Very disappointed this morning. After already adjusting to the new 24/5 schedule, I arrived at 3:55 AM on Monday expecting the gym to open at 4:00 AM. No staff ever showed by 4:18 AM, and there were over 10 people waiting outside, with more in their cars. Many left after waiting. No communication, no updates — just wasted time, especially frustrating when trying to work out before heading to work. Members deserve better reliability.

The manager on shift on 6/24/25 at around 6:00 p.m. really went above and beyond today. She held up my entire family—my wife and two kids—over a technicality that they needed to sign in with me. We had to go through all the hassle of registering our kids so they could be with us. We've been going here for months, and no one has ever said anything. Thanks for ruining our workout over a technicality. I can't wait until Crunch Fitness opens.

I’m extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior displayed by Dominique, the manager/front desk staff at Planet Fitness.

For two consecutive mornings, my husband and teenage daughter—both respectful Black Card members—were met with hostility and aggression simply for asking about the guest check-in process. Instead of assisting them, Dominique responded with rudeness, yelling, and threats to remove them from the facility and even call the police. This happened at 6 a.m., and they were left shocked and humiliated.

After choosing to leave and use our neighborhood rec center instead, they returned today hoping for a better experience—only to be met once again by Dominique. Rather than professionalism, she taunted them, saying things like “This is my club, they fired everyone else for a reason” and “You can call who you want, they can’t do anything to me.”

Her behavior escalated to the point of public humiliation, taunting, and aggressive language when they finally decided to cancel their membership. As a public servant and long-time Pearland resident, I’ve never witnessed this level of unprofessionalism in a business.

Dominique’s behavior is not only unacceptable—it’s a liability. No paying member should be bullied, disrespected, or treated this way, especially not in a public space meant to promote health and well-being.

Planet Fitness, do better. Dominique needs to be held accountable and removed from this position immediately.

The local facility is nice enough. Not as clean as they claim. Usually the toilets need attention. But, that can happen anywhere. The 2 star rating is more about PF corporately. They want (and need members) so they make it easy to get signed up. If you want to change your payment plan, don't call the number on the web site. Why? There is NO number on the web site. Or any other way to contact Planet Fitness. You have to change any billing through the APP. Not the web Portal. Try to cancel your membership - Good Luck with that! They gotcha. No way in the app, or on the web site. Call the gym. Oh, you need to come see us first. Got a dispute -- call corporate, Oh wait, you can't because PF keeps that information a secret. Hmmm...

I started going to the Planet Fitness in Pearland a few months ago and really enjoyed it.
A few days ago, I was working out upstairs on a treadmill. I wasn’t next to anyone else and I had placed my mini purse, the size of a large wallet, down on the floor right next to the treadmill. It was NOT in the way of others at all.
A young, black female manager comes by with her new hire, a young man.
While she stands there, he tells me that I’m not allowed to have the purse on the floor. I happily moved the mini purse up on the front of my treadmill where the handbar is. It was small and like having a towel on you treadmill size wise.
This was not enough for these two. They insisted that I put the mini bag in a locker. I explained that I would be happy to but I had not brought a lock, but I would from now on. I had put the mini bag on the floor before at this gym and no one had ever said anything to me before! Also, I wasn’t the only person with belongings on the floor next to my machine. They still insisted that I put it in a locker.
I will not put my purse into an un locked locker, or the car.
I left. I will never go back. I am happy to follow rules but they were UNREASONABLE! They could have just told me that from now on I had to lock it up and I would have been happy to comply. I was very friendly and compliant. Bad management!
I joined Planet Fitness 6 years ago, but it has gone down. Especially with the new hours which is bad for those of us who specifically joined because they were open 24/7. Some people work late and need these hours. Now with these power monger managers , I will be looking for a better gym.

Tried canceling my membership but I’ve been having medical issues and in and out of the hospital. When I call for a manager it’s like no one works there and I haven’t been in the year 2025 because of these medical issues. And I can’t speak with anyone because no one is ever there to actually help me and when there is I’m told I need to come in and do it in person. Like I physically can’t because of what I’m going through so I’m paying almost $30 a month for a service I can’t use or cancel. I can’t dispute it with the bank because I’ve tried. Like this is just a scam. Nothing I do will work and I can’t afford this on top of my medical bills I’m racking up. This isn’t okay. I just need to cancel membership and I can’t. I’m literally negative in my account and they still take their fee when I can’t do anything about it. Like management is lacking and a complete failure. I call Monday and the manager is out. I call Tuesday they aren’t there. Wednesday no one even answered the phone. Thursday no manager. Friday I get told to call back Monday. Like what the heck is happening here?! Planet fitness doesn’t care about health because I’m having health issues and can’t afford it anymore and I’m told tough at this point. This is a joke and no one will call me back(I doubt someone took my number when I’ve given it to someone) or no one is ever available. It’s a joke and so disheartening.

I love this gym BUT today when I came in there is a lady behind the counter, I think her name tag said "Domonique" was being rude to 2 ladies at the counter who I recognize come there every single day. They both are very dedicated to this gym. I see there is a new sign saying No Bags but I heard her telling one of them that had a small hand bag.... Well you cant have that in here and I will cancel your membership and you cant come here anymore! This is horrible that she was talking to them in this manner. These are very nice ladies and for her to be threatening them like this is very uncalled for. Im very disappointed in this behavior that she would feel she is in authority enough to just tell someone they cant come to this facility anymore if she sees her with a bag again, so sad. There is a way to do things and her rude attitude is not okay! And to make it better, on the way out the door she was talking to a coworker and her loud conversation and cursing was shocking. As a Christian woman I prefer not to hear cursing used so loosely. She is the 1st and last person members see when they come in/leave. Very disappointed.

It's always packed. The crowd meter on the app is never accurate it only goes up to max 2 bars. Giving the illusion that you'll be able to have a good workout and once you get there there will be only 4 parking spots. Ive gone here for a year and it's always the same. Hard to get a machine and there's always someone waiting behind you. Water fountain is broken at least once a month with no options other than to buy water. They cut hours and not prices as well. Already started looking for a new gym.

I love this PF ,but they are very inconsistent with their operating hours. Often in the weekend and Mondays they open up late. I have a tight schedule and I often have to wait in the parking lot for someone to open up. Mondays opens at 4am I waited till 4:45am and nothing. Please fix this.

In a nutshell, this facility receives 5 Stars and all 10’s from me. It is customer centric, and operated professionally.
With each visit my motivation is at the highest levels. What’s even greater is knowing that I haven’t began to tap all the resources available, I can only imagine what that will look like once I do.
Although my capacity is being a club member, I let management know that they have my full support and commitment if the need ever arises and that I will the eyes and ears for them when they can’t.

Been going to planet fitness with a mate for 4 years 5 -6 days a week and had a decent experience until now , still considering to switch gyms, this has happened to 2 times I forgot my phone at home and the first time the employee was nice and decided to let me in, but the second time the employee was not budging at all, (Joana) she had purple hair, she didn’t explain rules properly she almost didn’t wanna be here at all, I absolutely hated this day in planet fitness and might leave because of this incident if yall are thinking of continuing this gym remember that the some employee will give you a bad expiernce, The entire interaction left me frustrated and feeling unwelcome. It’s hard to believe such an unhelpful person could be employed at a place that claims to prioritize a “judgment-free” atmosphere. I’ll definitely be debating my business elsewhere. If you’re looking for a welcoming, professional gym experience, look anywhere but here. Planet Fitness on Pearland Parkway is a nice gym. It is clean and sanitary. The guests are accustomed to wiping down the equipment after using it. The sanitizer stations are well maintained. It’s also not super busy at the time l work out. You can check the busy meter on their app to see how busy the gym is. I’m grateful the gym is so close to our home (5-7 minutes away)

Five Star gym experiences for me the 6 days a week i am in there. I love the fact when I walk in I am greeted warmly and with smiles. Lenny and crew are always ready to help too. Jay-Ron is the best! Not only is a class act & excellent trainer!! He listens and cares about your physical and health goals you would like to meet. I have been going to this gym for 2 years and we have a group of 8-10 people we work out together for the classes offered and trained by Jay-ron. We have seen the transformation in each other because the instruction and training received from him. Honestly, everyone is always friendly and take them time to greet you and answer any questions you may have. I appreciate seeing the staff waking around cleaning the machines…
But it would be nice to have some slam balls to incorporate to our workout!! And More weights!!

About to cancel my membership. Allowing teens to work out for FREE during the summer when all they do is sit on their phones and NOT work out. The screaming, playing around and working out in crocs and slides… I’ll be going back to LA Fitness.

Rude “trainer” who was listening to music on his person cellphone while training a member. Went up to him and asked him to turn it down. All I got in response was “okay” and her turned it up. Went to the front desk and let them know, and the response I got from the guy working is “that’s crazy” and that was it. See ya PF, it wasn’t great.

I had to leave in the middle of my workout because they wouldn't let me have my gym bag with me, which has my resistance bands, ankle cuff for kickbacks, and my lifting belt. It'a weird that they care more about me having my GYM BAG in a GYM than they care about women's rights, considering that they allow weird men in the women's dressing area.
Also, there's no bench press.

Outside of the abs and stretching area there's very little room on the rest of the floor. It gets way too crowded during the week. Too many times theyre out of towels or sanitizer to wipe down machines and they don't replace or fix machines in a timely manner- they let the 10 lb medicine ball completely split before taking it and have not replaced it in months- just as an example. The restrooms could also be cleaner.

I absolutely love the group classes at East Pearland Planet Fitness! Gabby is the trainer for the classes and she is the reason why I show up to class! She is great! She very knowledgeable about the different exercises and how they work the different muscles in your body. She always has an alternative exercise if for some reason (injury) you cannot do the exercise she had planned. I have several people notice my change in appearance saying how much toner I’m am looking and Gabby is the reason behind that! If you’re holding back on joining in on group classes don’t, Gabby will make you feel welcome, demonstrate each and every exercise and push you to do your very best. Ask for Gabby at the front desk and you and you body will be happy you did!!!
