Terrible customer service. They love to take your monthly payment. Even when the gym is closed the whole month for maintenance. All I asked was that they put the monthly charge for the month that they were closed towards this months dues but I was told I had to call an 800 number that then told me I had to talk to the gym.
There resolution has always been telling me I can go to another planet fitness but I've always had that choice so , no that's not a credit.
So if you want to shell out money to a gym and don't expect much more, maybe you'll be fine here but if you expect any kind of customer service and to be treated like more than a monthly due, I suggest you look elsewhere.

The previous upgrade list one of my favorite machines. The current upgrade lost half of the machines I like. The bikes are designed for small people with small feet.
Rockbot changed the song limit from 3 to 1 song in a queue of 12 so you won't get to hear your choice. It doesn't list the online DJs anymore.

If you want to come to this gym DON’T! I canceled my membership with them due to being laid off, no issues at all. A month later they tried 3 TIMES in one day (Mind you, it was only 9am..)to take money out of my account, leaving my account negative. I called them, let them know of the situation the guy i spoke with said he’ll try and get the money back into my account. (They never did) I contacted my bank, and FUNNY enough the lady at my bank said “You are not the first person who has called about planet fitness taking money out of their accounts after they’ve cancelled their memberships” I thought that was very strange. They recommended that I change my entire banking information (which I did) and now they are unable to pull money out of my account. Fast forward to today they are STILL trying to take money out of my account. They have tried 15 TIMES to pull money out of my account. This is ridiculous.

If I could go lower I would. I’ve been going to this gym on and off for a little over a year now so I’m pretty disappointed. When I walked in the staff were chatting behind the counter like usual but there was a new person training, I ask for the full time in the bed which was not a problem as usual, get on there, undress, lotion, etc, got in the bed and it failed to turn on, (which happens a TON at this location I find). I am having to call up and ask them to reset it again/ they forgot to even set it in the first place. Anyway, her trainer was gossiping with the other employees and she failed to let me know that I have to wait another 30 some minutes to legally be able to tan again. AND I was the one to call them! Were they just going to let me sit in there until I called up? Luckily I did or I wouldn’t have been informed. Seriously so frustrating!!

The staff is great. The facility is fine. My issue is with all of the creeps. If you are a female gym goer into this gym with caution. Do not send your teen daughter here alone. I have had to leave this gym early countless times because I’m either being stared at, being told I’m too pretty to look mean, being told my facial expressions are funny. It is incredibly uncomfortable to constantly make eye contact with old men anytime I look up when I’m done with an exercise. I do not give any of these men body language, indicating I’m interested in them and I do not show up dressed in appropriately. However, I do not feel like I can come to this location and actually work out. From now on, I will be going out of my way to drive 12 minutes down the street to go to the other planet fitness location to hopefully avoid these creepy old men.

Price has gone up while hours of access have gone down.

Crowd meter is way off. It will have two bars on the app and you come in here and it’s so packed you can’t hardly get a work out in. I just leave. The whole point of having a membership here was to work out through the night and now it closes early on the weekends.
The water taste awful.
Also left a review a while back about how they had crammed in a bunch of new machines and you can hardly move through the area and planet called me and asked me to change my review and they would make adjustments to the gym and they never did. It’s still the same.

The water supply has a noticeable chlorine taste, which affects the quality of the water when refilling bottles. Installing a carbon filtration system could effectively address this issue, i dont think it has any filter at all. Additionally, there is a shortage of 45-pound plates, which often forces members to borrow them from other machines, disrupting workouts. Resolving these concerns would significantly enhance the overall experience. Aside from these issues, it’s a good gym with a lot of potential. Please Heart or thumbs up to help other fellow members.

Charged my annual fee last month. Then charged it again today. I had called to ask why this had happened and they had explained the first charge was refunded. No where in my bank statement does it show the refund. So they illegally stole money from me and this will be fought. They are a scam and illegal and will keep charging without any reason. I don’t care if it shows on your end that it was refunded, unless you can show me in my bank statement where it was returned the first time, this is ILLEGAL. Authorities will be informed and bank will be called to dispute. This is ridiculous.

There is no hot water in the showers. The staff did not post a sign stating the hot water pump needed to be repaired, so I can only assume it's been turned off to save money. I pay for a premium membership, and I expect a premium service. It is fine if you need to raise your prices to provide that service, but don't cut corners.

It used to be my favorite gym for a few years maybe 4 years. i moved so I don’t come to this location as much anymore. I just left and was surprised to see the trash cans literally full of dirty paper towels and the restrooms without any toilet paper. Also didn’t feel the same service as it was with former employees that used to be very nice. Disappointed for sure.

Planet Fitness is a dirty, scam operation posing as a gym. Extremely difficult to cancel membership (always directing the absolute most difficult way to cancel), charges after cancellation, won't refund and can't talk with anyone higher than the loca level to get this resolved. I challenge anyone to find a customer service number at Planet Fitness corporate. Always pass the buck to someone else and hiding behind others. Fingers pointing all over the place to "someone else". I went to this location two days ago. I wasn't greeted. The guy behind the counter only acknowledged me after I asked if my phone had checked me in correctly. Then I worked out. There is nothing noteworthy about this gym. The Plaza is a dump, the equipment is adequate. It's ok. It's ok for a $15/month gym. Yesterday, they emailed me a survey. I have them a 6/10 for customer service, a 6/10 for the facility, and a 10/10 for cleanliness. The survey then asked for a comment, to which I responded "It's just ok."
Today I get a call from someone at the location asking me "why did you put that." Seriously? You called to give me a hard time for calling your gym "just ok?" It is just ok. It's a Planet Fitness for God's sake. I'll be in soon to cancel my membership. Maybe next time just take a mediocre review and let it be.

I love Brandon at the front. He is always kind and there to help!
There are many issues out of his control that need attention.
1. There is not enough space. The store next door closed and it should be added to the space.
2. This is the lowest quality PF I have been too.
3. Machines and the black card membership items are broken or down frequently.
4. There is not enough showers and bathrooms for the amount of people. We need better bathroom/shower setup.

This place is a germ factory. I've been going here for many years and have made this same complaint too many times. They just don't care. Right now, Texas is one of the states with the highest outbreaks of the Norovirus. You would think that "hands on" businesses, like PF, would be going out of their way to ensure the highly populated environment is as clean as possible. NO! On any given day, you can find 4-5 employees standing behind the front counter talking or on their phones. Meanwhile, there are countless (mostly 20 something year olds) who absolutely disregard the practice of wiping down the equipment after use. I've been told that I should "go to the front desk and bring it to their attention". NO! It's not my job as a paying member to police the floor of the gym. YOU DO IT!!! I've done this before and they'll act on any complaint, but as soon as you leave it's business as usual. Too many young kids who drag bags around with them (also against the rules), sit on the machines working out their thumbs (texting) and leaving the equipment with their germs/bacteria on the surfaces. I've seen people sneeze into their hands, run their hands through their greasy hair, dig in their nose, etc. and just walk off when they're done. It's truly disgusting. Don't tell me to do anything about it. Raise your standards. Have one of the employees assigned to floor workout area to go around and make sure the rules are enforced!!! Perhaps they could rotate in 30 minute shifts and while they're doing that, they could drag the sanitization cart around with them and give all of the equipment a good wipe down!!!!

The facility that I use allows me to get a full workout done within 90 minutes. There is a significant amount of equipment that is available to the members so there is hardly any delay time waiting for a specific piece of equipment to be available. Locker Rooms are large with more than an adequate number of lockers. Locker Rooms have shower and bathroom facilities. Check in process is easy and quick utilizing the Planet Fitness App on the member's cell phone.

The gym does a good job overall. However, the repair of broken or out of order equipment is extremely slow. The shoulder rotator machine has been missing a handle for over three weeks. I asked the front desk and they said they don’t have any idea when it will be fixed. They seemed to be frustrated also. If there were multiple machines like this one, it would be more tolerable. There is only one machine and it is broken (with no out of service sign on it). It is used and recommended for shoulder rehab. Can’t fix it get another one!!!

Today, in particular, I was feeling a bit down, but seeing their positive energy really lifted my spirits.

Planet fitness has the necessary equipment what it also has is congested areas, lack of mirrors (yep, I like to see the muscle contact when working out), and bubbled up flooring from the roof leaking (in the dumbbell area). Overall it’s a great place, price is good and when you travel you have the option to utilize the local PFs.
Tomball parkway has friendly staff and the bathroom is clean.
