Was a member for 2 years, stayed true through the corona virus, came back after the gym reopened and they have a lot of new employees that are not friendly and are very demanding. I was spoken to like a child by an employee 2 days in a row. If this place wasn’t dirt cheap they would not be in business.

Well apparently I didn’t learn my lesson, I came back and nothing has changed. Still rude and willing to have any desire to provide customer service. There is never a manager around and that’s the only response given buy these ppl . “Talk to a manager”! What manager!!! Apparently no professional person who cares works for the company.

I've been a customer of Planet Fitness in west Fort Worth since 2020. I recently moved to Hudson Oaks and for 5 months I've been going to the Weatherford location every Saturday and some weekdays. The same girl, Lou has seen me most of the time. This morning I drove in and had left my cell at home. She refused to let me in even though I told her I could give her any ID that she might need. She said that because I didn't bring my phone with the app that she couldn't let me in. She said it was an insurance liability! She was pretty cold and rude when I told her that she KNEW ME! She said it didn't matter. Ya'll need a better system, or a more caring employee!!!

Rules are no longer a thing. Things break and don't get fixed. Men's room is missing a paper towel dispenser. People wear either nothing at all (man with no shirt walking around right in front of staff) or wearing slides or other things against the rules in front of staff. Bags everywhere and people using multiple machines taking up space. Worst planet fitness I have been to yet. Sad it's my home gym.

I really like the fact that Planet Fitness has an incredible array of equipment, weights and areas, so if a particular machine or area is in use there are many options to get the same muscle groups. The staff is friendly and helpful as are most of the customers. I work out here when visiting with my daughter here in Weatherford and it's superior to anything we have at home. Thanks PF!

Very good gym. The staff is great except for a select few that are very rude. would be nice if there was a recovery room for ice baths and short rem naps. The slogan is "judgment free zone but I feel very judged here. I'm a super nice guy and I've been pushed to use my assertiveness here on several occasions with the female staff. Sometimes I leave my cane behind, (my brain goes foggy when I get a pump) and they bring it to me and say rudethings like I'm trashing up the place when I'm almost always cleaning my areas after I'm done with them. What's the point of having this black card membership if the staff isn't going to treat you like you blow 20 % of your paycheck? No respect. I honestly feel scammed out of my money. There's no point in talking to management. It doesn't work

I was signing up to use the fitness enhancement & while waiting for my turn another client had signed in. I was told not to sign up until the door was open because they had no way of knowing who was first , as this had happened previously when I too had been signing up while I waited. So As I was waiting for the room it opened and I signed in but was told the other client was first because she had already signed in?? So I am now completely confused on when to sign up. I lost my turn both times and would love to know the policy.

Was going here for over a year with a friend of mine, then all of a sudden it was a problem that we are both 17 after signing forms when we started that were signed by our parents too. Its Honestly kind of just ridiculous, especially considering the fact I turn 18 in 3 days. I never would of minded nor had an issue with this place had they'd been firm about their rules to begin with instead of picking when it was convenient. I still have all the friends I've gone with before on my guest card that are the same age as me too.

I went in and signed paperwork on Jan 11th to cancel my membership, I was assured it would be given to management and canceled but since my next payment was 8 days away, I'd still have to pay for Feb which seems a little excessive but its not like they give you a choice. Its now feb 20th and they just charged me again for march and upon calling it appears no one actually bothered to cancel my membership at all. I guess if you actually want it canceled send them a certified letter or something, this is ridiculous.

I'm dropping the stars a bit. My biggest reason... They did away with the 30 min. Express circuit room! Why would they do this? Not everyone has knowledge of a gym environment and what to do without guidance, and some people are not comfortable asking. The circuit room was a huge part of planet fitness in my opinion.
The Hydromassage beds are down pretty often (1 or both) and they are the entire reason I purchased the black membership. Now I'm paying double the price with no real difference in memberships. I realize there is more to the black membership than just massage beds HOWEVER for me personally, this was the selling point of that membership. No 30 min circuit training room and rarely getting to use the massage beds...this location, sadly no longer deserves my 5 star rating.

Someone tell me why I left a slightly poor rating on weatherford planet fitness about the 24/5, and prefering a 24/7 gym hour… and the clerk stops me before my next workout to confront me about my review to enforce the 24/5 hours 💀 talk about salty. Unprofessional to be honest, I didnt have much to say considering most my opinion was in the review… I find the confrontation to be too abbrassive and argumentative regarding the fact I placed a review expecting little to no confrontation. Especially when the only resolve would be to consider the 24/7… just unnecessary and felt dramatic… I feel uncomfortable knowing I can’t place my opinion freely on my gym for criticism to be considered, as well as that I am identified immediately in the door as my greeting that I placed the review.

Nice clean open place. 20 bucks a month gets you a LOT here. Showers and dressing rooms were super clean. Hardly if ever a wait for massage table or chairs, tanning beds or wellness booth. The only problem, they allow men into the ladies dressing room.

The club is fairly clean but i get there when they first open to work out before work and there is still grime on some machines. One of the tanning bed doors requires holding it closed. This has been brought up many times, to no avail. It was put out of order for a few days, then opened up again. I guess they thought it would heal? The hours are not 24 hours like the other Planet Fitnesses in Fort Worth. I guess Weatherford has more covid cases? There is no way to contact the owners. Period. All concerns must go through the teens working up front when they aren't texting. The issues above haven't been addressed using this method and there is no way to tell an adult about it. This is my final recourse unfortunately.

Update: i have brought it up to the manager on duty.

Update: my wife and I canceled our membership. It seems their new policy allows men to use the women's locker room and shower area if they are feeling like a woman that day. I cannot in good conscience fund a organization that excludes women's rights in favor of 2% of a population's "wants".

My concern is that I have an inactive account on my end, but I am getting actively charged. The first time I was told that my account is in fact active, which on my side it does not show that. I have been attempting to move a membership from this club to another club for the last 90+ days. I have left messages and received no return phone calls and was told by a staff member that he does not. “call customers back“. I finally received a call from the assistant manager, Noah, advising me that my membership has been manually transferred. I sought information as to who the manager was, as well as the district manager or the franchise owner, and he advised me that he was unable to provide me with that information as it was confidential and I would have to do my “own research”. Well played PF. Such incredible customer service. Not.
Hopefully, one of the “Christa’s” will see this review and call a long time member back.

The facility and equipment need a lot of work.
One of men's toilets has been out of service for a while . The water fountains are gross. Half of the paper towel dispensers are broken. The equipment & weights are slimy, with no routine cleaning or upkeep. The vinyl on many of the benches and equipment is cracked/tearing. Lots of the paneling and trim is falling apart.
Overall, the quality of the facility is seriously declining - yet annual fees keep going up.
Management/owner clearly don't have very high standards. If there aren't some major improvements I'll be taking membership elsewhere.
For what membership costs, these issues should not be occuring in the first place.

If you want a never ending membership no matter how many times you try to cancel this is the gym for you! Went in to cancel my membership in October. Was told I would be charged one more time no big deal. Well the person working the front desk could not figure out the computer and had to keep facetiming someone asking what to do he also mentioned his phone was on 4%. Had a line behind me and a line waiting to use tanning beds. I was there for what felt like 20-30 minutes he had me sign a document 4-5 times because he could not figure out what he was doing saying nothing was saving & the computer wasn’t working right. I think he was having me sign a new contract but saying that the computer kept blanking i’m not sure. In all he said it was taken care of. Well November comes around and i’m getting charged again. Turns out the man canceled my Blackcard but signed me up for the 10$ a month membership. I can’t even begin to explain to you how that happened when i walked in and asked to cancel my membership. Extremely suspicious. So I go in again asking to cancel my membership AGAIN. Wasn’t refunded my November payment but Zane at the front desk assured me my membership was actually canceled this time around. The front desk here is unexperienced and dealing with them has been a nightmare the past few months. When I found out I was being charged again I tried to call the gym 4 times over the course of a day, left a voicemail and it wasn’t answer nor did i receive a callback within 2 days. I’ll take blame for not following up after but save your time & money and go somewhere else.

Easy access and affordable to boot. Good environment and clean facility make this a great place to workout. If you're needing assistance in what to do the staff is very helpful. Upgrading to the "Black card" you get extra perks and access to awesome things like the massage jets, tanning booths and more.

Love coming to PF but lately things seem to be going downhill. The water fountain is finally working, and there seems to be tp in the stalls now. Some of your new hires seem to think its a hangout spot or social time. Devin/Andre or whatever is his name is always on the phone, talking to his friends that drop by and visit him and has and attitude when you have to wait on him to stop chatting and do his job. I go out of my way to drive an hour to this location and try to make the most of the time im alloted to workout the last thing I want is attitude or to have to wait on someone to do their job. Positive note, Angie is doing great as always and KoHannah is missed I heard she's at a different location now. If it was a further drive id go there.
