I have never liked working out, or being in a gym, but my dad found pledge to fitness in the neighborhood and now he and my mom both go regularly. It has changed our lives. Andres makes it fun and he's so nice, and it's great to work out in a gym that's not crowded. He'll put on music you like, the hour goes by fast, and he really knows what he is doing. Viviana is also just as amazing, and I'm sure the rest of the team is as well.
There is also a bulldog named Huey, and he knows what's up. Great place to get in shape and feel healthy.

I'd never been to a personal trainer before, and feel very fortunate I found Pledge. Andres and Vivana are great to work with; they're both fun and funny and positive, which balances out the torture of working out (to be clear, they don't torture you, it's the sheer act of exercising I find torturous).

In two months, I've seen good improvements in strength and flexibility and replacement of fat with muscle.

Highly recommend to anyone starting on their fitness journey.

I “won” a package to Pledge to Fitness at a gala earlier this year and started my twice a week workouts with the team in September. I am not a newbie to personal training, but it’s been several years and two kids since I’ve been able to devote dedicated time to myself. All that being said, I have felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed at Pledge to Fitness. The trainers are AMAZING and workouts are personalized and efficient. I’ve used various services offered by PTF, i.e. muscle therapy with Vivianna, which I would highly recommend and personal workout sessions with the owner Andres. I have only been going here for a few sessions so far, but I have been really enjoying it! It feels very private and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve always been really intimidated going to the gym, so this has been a pleasant surprise for me.

I’ve been working with Viviana on some basic strength exercises and stretches. She is so knowledgeable and helpful! I also appreciate that she is really able to work around my 9 - 5 schedule and find times that work for both of us.

Update Sept 2022: The P2F team has helped me do things I didn't think my body was going to ever allow again. I'm back to heavy squats, bench, and deadlift. We're preparing for a vacation with days and days of hiking and other demanding activities. When I first met Andres I was having trouble just walking up stairs (following a knee injury), and had given up on any arm motion like a bench press. Viviana has tought me new motions and stretches that I integrate into my weekly routine and my range of motion hasn't been this good in over a decade (also Viviana's post workout sports massage/stretch will do wonders for those nagging tight spots and poor ROM, trust me). My lean body weight is the highest it has ever been and I my goal total weight is within reach. (Also shout out to Carlos - I mostly work with Viviana but have had great power and ROM-focused workouts with him as well).

If you also sit at a desk all day and also don't want to feel 90 when you are 40 - give P2F a call.

The PtF ream has rehabbed my knee and shoulder back to normalcy through long-term muscle conditioning and education on stretching and general well-being. Never thought I would bench press again, and thought learning to ski was impossible - but both have been accomplished, on top of increased muscle mass and general health.

I've been with them for over 3 years at the other location and am happy to follow them to the new Bellaire location. Services are phenomenal. I'm surprised how natural the pneumatic 'weight' system feels, and how it can set up basically any lift I would do at a 'regular' gym. Come check them out, grand opening is Dec 15th.

We’ve been working out at pledge for about a month now- my mother and I do classes together and we’ve had a great experience.

Viviana and Carlos both have such positive vibes that it really makes the environment great for working out. They are both very knowledgeable and adaptable.

If you’re considering going to a gym, this is the perfect push. The trainers can teach you various techniques and motivate you. This is my mother and my first time attending an out of home gym, and were super happy with our decision to come here!

I joined Pledge To Fitness back in December 2021. I was experiencing lower back problems and was looking for a personal trainer to help strengthen my core. Carlos with PTF has helped me with all facets of fitness. He seems to know exactly what I need and when I need it. My core is becoming more solid and I feel stronger all the way around. I’m not a “fitness person,” like at all. I sought out a personal trainer this year because I wanted to look better and less skinny fat, and I picked Pledge because of their free initial assessment and great reviews.
Needless to say I’m blown away! Everyone who works there is friendly, funny and super easy to get along with, and their clientele seem to be of all ages and experience levels. They have absolute jams playing all the time too. Each trainer seems to have their own training style, but all are encouraging and positive. I work with Viviana and I’m so impressed. She has something new for me to do every time I go for a session and knows exactly how to challenge me and keep me motivated. I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident thanks to Pledge. I reached out to Andres for help with my aching shoulder that was causing my migraines. As a nurse, my body gets tense and stays tense for many hours at a time. He set me up with Viv, who combined massage therapy that helped with muscle fascia release (ouch, but a good ouch) with cupping. I’d never tried cupping before but the strange and new experience was met with almost instantaneous results. Before the hour was over, I regained my movement and mobility in my shoulder and the pain was exponentially improved. One session won’t fix it all. But one session made an incredible difference. I’ll definitely be back for more, to not only help fix my shoulder altogether, but to also maintain my body in the future as future shifts take its toll. Highly recommend for their perfect balance of friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, and great music taste!

They have a really cool Fit3D scanner that scans your whole body and tells you about your posture, balance, weight index, body fat, muscle weight and a few more options! It really helps you understand your body more and what areas to work on. I had a wonderful, complimentary prenatal massage by a licensed therapist who guided me throughout the massage by going over problem areas.
