My 5 yrs old boy absolutely loves this place. The facilities are well-designed, with lots of space for kids to explore and move. The teachers are kind, and the staff is always so warm and welcoming.

It’s easy, affordable, and filled with fun events, especially Kids’ Night and the school-break camps. My son is happiest here, running around with friends and diving into all the activities they’ve created.

My little brother has been attending Powersports for 5 years and we have never had any issues with them, recently we discovered that he’s been getting put in time out for not eating his snacks. I understand that the snacks are provided by them but there is absolutely no reason children should be punished for not eating a snack that they dislike or just do not want to eat!

We have been doing optional level gymnastics here for a year now. We have been incredibly grateful for coach Josh, who has taken my daughter from a scared, burned out gymnast considering quitting, to a talented gymnast, more importantly who has fallen back in love with the sport.

Coach Josh has so much experience coaching elite gymnasts in much bigger gyms and we feel lucky he ended back in his hometown. He has been able to re-train my daughter on multiple skills that she was mistaught.

Now with the addition of coach Izzy, who brings not only great skill and experience as a former college scholarship gymnast, but also so much joy to the girls.

This is our third gym in town and we are blown away by the facilities and coaching.

Instructors are PHENOMENAL! My son loves it here, and they truly love and care for the kids. They have a plethora of classes and skill levels, and it is a clean and well equipped facility.

Their interface between the online parent portal, their computer software, and their finance software is lacking deeply though. Unless they notate it in your account at the front desk, or you have a receipt for it, assume it doesn’t exist. Overall, if I have to choose between a business that has a strong program but weak office vs. one with a weak program but a strong office, this is the way to go. Overall, you can trust their staff, and your kids will have a phenomenal time. Just make sure all your I’s are dotted and T’s crossed, and you have proof.

My kids have been going to Powersports for years now, and we have sampled many of the different classes, but I'm so thankful that we decided to start our kids in MMA. Beyond the obvious skill of learning to fight, my children have gained so many valuable skills since taking this class. They have learned confidence, the value of right and wrong, how to not lock up when faced with something difficult, how to adapt and change when faced with a challenge, not to underestimate others, that you can always seek to improve a skill, and the list goes on. Regularly, I will find that what they are learning and experiencing in class is an excellent analogy for life around them, and they can use the skill learned in class to help tackle problems in the rest of their daily life. I definitely recommend checking out the MMA portion of Powersports!

My kiddos have been at Powersports for over 5 years. They LOVE it. During Covid they even thought outside the box and parents rent out rooms safely to help get energy out while everything was shut down. We especially love the staff there. One in particular, Kelsey, is always a highlight for them to see while they are there. The only pain point is the parking. If you need a summer activity or way to get your kid active..Powersports is amazing ❤️

They crank out a ton of birthday parties every weekend. First hourish is on the far left side running around and jumping on gymnastics equipment, then to the middle room for cupcakes/pizza (you bring) and then to the room with the indoor playground to play for the last hour and do presents if you want. As soon as your party is out of one space another party is in there. Always lots of people and feels kind of chaotic with the tiny hall for the shoe cubbies. Staff are generally nice. It always feels a little sticky/dirty, as so many people are going through so fast, but the kids have fun and parents can generally chat and relax while they play.

I just wanted to take a moment and brag on y’all’s front desk person Kelsey (not sure on spelling!). She has been so so kind and really made a huge difference for us in dropping off our kiddos. I had already felt that way and then today I felt it so much more. She has gone above and beyond making sure parents feel that their kiddos are safe and loved.

I never really knew how tough it can be on my heart to drop off a kiddo until mine struggled to be dropped off today and Kelsey really helped me to feel calm and eased my heart. She kept thanking me for understanding and I was just shocked because I was so thankful for her being understanding!

I have a daughter in the advanced Tumbling class and she loves it! We have tried a couple of other gyms in the area, but Power Sports is by far our favorite. Super friendly, clean, and comfortable for the parents as well as the athletes. This is our first year with PowerSports after school program and honestly I don’t know why we didn’t do this sooner. All the counselors are A-1, especially the girls at the front desk. I was really nervous sending my son at first since he has special needs. Yet Ms. Callie told me she would call me the whole first week of school to make sure my little man made it safe. It made me feel so much at ease. Ms. Kelsey is the sweetest as well. Everyone knows you by name and it’s amazing how they greet you even just passing by. We will definitely will be here for the long haul.

My youngest is in the jump 2 Learning program and he is learning so much! The staff is wonderful and they keep them active and learning! I have all great things to say about powersports for whatever age your child is!

We love Powersports! My son is 5 and currently in their martial arts program. It has really been great for him to have a structured physical outlet that also instills hard work and other solid principles. The coaches are great with the kids, but also firm when needed, which I like.

I know this was awhile ago but two years ago I brought my daughters here and found some of the people who work at Powersports do not seem to like kids. My kids were not allowed to use much of the equipment and what they were allowed to use the employee’s were not careful to make sure kids were safe. Maybe those people have left but ever since I have continually been emailed “specials” to try and bring me back I cannot get them to stop. The unregister from emails doesn’t seem to work.

They want your $$$, they do NOT care about your children.

We spent eight years at PowerSports and spent tens of thousands of dollars. With only weeks before the next school year they told an entire team of gymnasts they had to home school if they wanted to continue training there. There is no time to make such a major adjustment and the athletes are devastated because they have no choice but to change gyms - some were so upset they quit outright. This is not the first time they have booted an entire team of athletes. It's happened in cheerleading too. A&M's stunt cheer team no longer trains there. The environment is unsafe - the head coach is usually on his phone not paying attention. He's also been verbally abusive many times and berates the kids. I've heard coaches, in the other sports, cuss at kids before too. The owner wants to focus on Ninja Warrior for the revenue and limited need for coaches. He seems to be clueless at how gymnastics and cheer are being run - which is into the ground. They will want your small children in recreational gymnastics for the revenue only (again, limited coaching). They have ZERO interest in the athletes long term goals. The complete disregard for their goals and feelings is a disrespectful and shameful way to treat loyal athletes and the parents. PowerSports also said they couldn't hire another coach - the entire team (and many other athletes) switched to Thunder Elite - who was able to immediately hired more coaches. Do NOT go to PowerSports. Consider Thunder Elite, Brazos Valley Gymnastics or any other options. This is not a children first environment, it is driven by the bottom line at the heartbreak of your hardworking kids. Until the head gymnastics coach is gone we will absolutely NOT return to PowerSports.

My wife and I dropped our 3 children off last night, parents night out, for the first time. This place is huge! A giant warehouse with different enclosed sections! First Impressions: Powersports is a clean, modern, safety-conscious facility with a wide range of programs. The staff is friendly and professional.

How I use the gym: My 8-year-old son has been in ninja warrior classes for three years. I’ve noticed significant improvements in his coordination, stamina, strength, and confidence. My 5-year-old daughter recently switched from gymnastics to ninja warrior. Both programs have been positive experiences for her. Both kids have participated in summer camps, school holiday camps, and birthday parties hosted at Powersports. These events are well organized, appropriately staffed, and very popular with my kids.

Why they keep my business: Coaches and staff consistently communicate with students and parents through multiple methods – email, bulletin boards, handouts, and face-to-face. Powersports continues to expand its ninja warrior program and has a set-up that rivals gyms in Houston and Austin. Coach Matt has experience competing in Las Vegas and makes class both fun and challenging. All the coaches are knowledgeable and professional. Powersports hosts Ninja Warrior competitions that bring competitors of all ages from across Texas. Registering for classes is easy. Tuition is reasonable and billed automatically. Powersports allows make-up sessions for missed classes. Wi-Fi access allows parents to work or siblings to occupy themselves while they wait.

Other notes: Powersports asked parents to give Google reviews, which is why I’m writing this review. I only experience one frustration at Powersports, and it’s not big enough to keep me from giving five stars. Powersports is so popular that their parking lot gets full at certain times of day, and it’s hard to find a spot. Being a little early helps prevent this situation.

Absolutely love this place! My kid goes to Kids Night out on Friday nights and the staff is the best. My son is always ready to come back before we leave. Super inexpensive if you need to run errands or just go out with friends. You can leave money for pizza or snacks which are definitely reasonably priced. They also offer camp for the holidays, summer, and school days that you can pay weekly or choose which days you need. Highly recommend bringing your kids here.

My kids and I absolutely love this school! The variety of classes is something I haven’t seen offered at other schools. The instructors are phenomenal- they have worked amazingly with both of my toddlers where other recreational schools have failed. We will be coming here for a very long time- the hour drive is nothing compared to the excitement my kids have about going to class. 100% recommend!

We love Powersports so much that we drive an hour one way from the Brenham area to bring our daughter here 4x a week for J2L and various classes! The coaches, staff, and teachers are all amazing and I swear they’re all going to heaven because teaching toddlers is like herding cats. 🤪 Coach Jackie and Coach Dani are my daughter’s favorite coaches, but we really do love them all! I really appreciate each of them for their patience, attentiveness to each student, and making everything fun! I also appreciate that we can drop/add classes as necessary, like when your kid suddenly decides they don’t want to do such-and-such class anymore, after months of LOVING IT (ungrateful, I tell you!) 😂 That being said, gymnastics has been amazing for my little one and I love that routines are changed up each week. As for covid protocols, we are very happy with how the staff is handling it-extra hand sanitizing/washing for the kids, masks for adults, extra cleaning. They are really trying and we always feel comfortable bringing our daughter here, during covid or not. Lastly, Friday Play Days are the best and we totally recommend!!

We love powersports! We have been going for about 3 years now and they are absolutely awesome! Their gymnastics and ninja warrior programs have been great for helping kids learn how to take directions, and uses their energy in a purposeful way. The staff is always nice and helpful. The coaches are great with the kids! They are always very POSITIVE about how your kids experience was. They get to know your child by name, they talk to them, and are great role models.

We looovvee Powersports!!! We have known them for 8 years now! Whether it be taking a class, after school care, their camps, attending a birthday party, throwing a birthday party or renting one of their many gyms to entertain my kids on the weekends or a weekday during the summer, you can’t find better! They offer so much and their prices are very very reasonable!!! Also, their staff is great, but I must say Miss Jackie is our favorite! We've been taking our daughters to Powersports for about 2 years now. Age range of gymnastics classes we've taken are 2-5. Both of our girls love it! Our daughter is their Jump to learning program for the first time this fall. She loves it and is always excited to go! The teachers and staff are always welcoming and friendly. They send home art and crafts each week that are so creative and adorable that I find myself getting exciting by Friday to see what she has done. They also send updates and photos thru an app that has made this new stage in life comforting and exclusive for us! And on top on this year being crazy-nutso, they have done outstanding in insuring safety measures for the children and staff, which makes me at ease since kids are disgusting little germ magnetics. Thank you for all you do for these kids, you are helping mold them into future adults!

I was very excited to bring my girls to power sport gymnastics. They have everything we need: martial arts, dance, gymnastics, day care, etc! But the girls attitude at the front desk threw us off. Neither offered us a tour, not answered any questions, were too busy discussing personal matters. Makes you wonder what is the rest of the personal is like. Staying at our current school, where they treat us much better for our money!

Brought my child here for kids night out and put $7 in an envelope for pizza, snacks and a drink. When I picked him up, he said he hasn’t ate yet. I told the lady at the front and she picks up his envelope and says “it was left out.” No apology, nothing. Every time I come here the employees have such an attitude with everyone but my child likes to play here from time to time. When he came for a spring break camp once, all his socks were thrown away. The lady told me “they were dirty.” I don’t care, the socks are not theirs to be thrown away. He will not be returning anymore

My 2 year old has been taking gymnastic classes there for a year now and started the pre-school program this fall. She LOVES both! The pre-school program is fantastic. She is excited for school everyday and has learned so much already. The gymnastics program is fun, but structured. Even in the Mommy and Me classes, the kids are actually being taught gymnastics. I just started my oldest in Ballet there and it looks like that is going to be a hit for her as well. Prices are reasonable and staff is great. We love Powersports!
