It took us a while to find our daughter’s true passion—we tried ballet, tap, soccer, basketball, and even sideline cheer before discovering Powerstride Athletix. From the moment she joined PSA’s rec program, something just clicked. After a few seasons of recreational cheer, we decided to take the leap into the prep level, and it’s been one of the best decisions we've made.

Watching her grow this past season has been nothing short of incredible. Every time she hit the mat, she gave it her all—and it showed. Her confidence has soared, and it’s been such a joy to witness her hard work pay off. She recently made one of the gym’s elite teams, and she couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

My daughter been in tumbling and cheer team at Powerstride for about a year and a half and she loves it. Her skills have advanced so quickly. She could barely do a cartwheel when she started and now she's doing a round off, back hand spring, back tuck! We are so proud of her! The Powerstride staff are so friendly and family oriented. They are not pushy or try to get you into something you are not ready for. They offer lots of classes, and do fun events on site.

We have been at this gym for 3 years now and There is not enough positive things to be said about this place. These coaches and staff are the best group of people. If you want someone who truly cares about your athlete this is the place for you. They went above and beyond to help make sure my daughter was able to come when I was unable to drive as well. They even have classes for toddlers and my son loves it.

Being new to the area we tried a few gyms before we found Powerstride. They have been absolutely amazing with my kid. He has come so far in the short time we have been here. We are there 3-4 times a week and it is always the highlight of my kid's week. He loves being there working on skills and practicing with his team. So many amazing kids he has met and I have met some awesome parents. The coaches and staff AMAZING!!! Highly recommended for any kids who love tumbling stunting and cheer!!!

Been going to this gym since Jan 2023 and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. My daughters are in the preschool tumbling and advanced tumbling class with coach Natalie and coach Emma. These coaches are the best with their age group and are patient with them. They treat my girls so well and always put a smile on their faces. They care about the kids so much and are extremely encouraging. They get to know each of the girls names which makes the kids feel very special and treat all them so well. As a parent it’s very heart warming to watch how well they are with children. And God bless Coach Clint and miss Debbie for being patient with me and all the schedule changes.

My daughter started at a different gym and I was not happy with the progress. In the two years that she was at this gym, she did not grow. Last year we moved to PowerStride and WOW!! She has learned and improved so much! I'm impressed with the coaches and their commitment to the kids getting better.

This is my sons second school year attending powerstride and he loves it! All of the staff are nice and my son loves the inflatable rock climbing and trampoline. There’s an after school daycare center that’s conveniently close to my job but I chose to keep him here because he gets to let his energy out after school and they are so good to him!

My daughter attends Powerstride and loves it. She used to attend another cheer gym in the area but due to many issues we walked away after 3 years. My girl has finally found her cheer home. She loves all the coaches and Mrs. Debbie. The coaches push her each week to get better and there is lots of encouragement along the way. She started with Rec cheer and has moved up to Novice level Weathergirl team. She keeps pushing each week to move up to higher levels by attending not only 2 day a week cheer practices but also jump and tumbling classes. My girl would live at this gym if she could. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Powerstride they are beyond AWESOME!!

You will not find a better gym for you child than PowerStride! The coaches treat all the kids like they are theirs. My daughter has grown so much over the past 4 years. Our daughter started cheerleading 3 years ago and knew nothing about it. The coaches were amazing with her and she has learned so much, and gained tons of confidence.

I would not recommend Power Stride Athletics to anyone. My granddaughter was in a recreational cheer program that was $150 per month. There was a contract involved in order to secure commitment, which I completely understand. Unfortunately we were in a bad hit and run car accident near the entrance of Devonshire and 548. My granddaughter was injured and as a result, wasn’t able to continue the rec cheer. I explained the situation and offered to provide medical documentation as well as the police report. We were charged an additional 2 months plus a uniform fee of $150 (total $450) from Power Stride with no regards to our unfortunate accident. I’ve talked to several people in the company who continue to state “That’s business”.

We have been with PowerStride Athletix for the last few years. We participate in the after school program, summer program, and are part of the elite cheer team. I have seen so many improvements lately with all aspects. My daughter absolutely loves being a part of the Powerstride family. My grandchildren loves going to power stride. I don't have them on a set schedule and the people there are understanding. They are caring and patience with the boys and very understanding of their disabilities. Which can be difficult and/or stressful when they are not listening or cooperating. I was in need of an after school program last year and came across Power Stride. Shortly thereafter, my daughter became interested in cheer so we tried Rec Cheer to see if this was her “thing” lol. Needless to say she loves it and is now doing competitive cheer this season. The coaching staff is beyond amazing with the kids!!! The coaches have a genuine love for the sport and they can all demonstrate what they expect of the team which is important to me. As a coach you shouldn’t expect from someone what you cannot do yourself or have not done to some extent, in my opinion. It’s a great environment that is conducive to building friendships throughout the season!

We have tried other gyms in the area, but PSA is the best. My daughter has grown so much since joining PSA. This is our 3rd year with them. Coach Autumn truly loves the kids and they love her. Everyone is friendly and caring here. Coach Noah’s enthusiasm during competition was so contagious, everyone was jumping and cheering. From tumbling to cheer, if you want your child to learn and improve their skills PSA is the place to be.

This gym we started going to for the after school program which was great at first good small town gym with good couches…. Then the gym changed hands and ever since then it has been a nightmare the new lady in charge “coach” bb has run all the good coaches off and the staff is dwindling in the office due to her attitude and temper yelling at staff and kids instead of fixing the problem her… they charge elite gym prices for at best prep team coaching due to the fact that they lost all there good coaches save your money and go else where for competition cheerleading and tumbling you can get much better for your money at other gyms this gym is a glorified daycare at best and to be honest I wouldn’t trust “coach” bb with that either. Hope this review helps you to make an informed decision on your child’s best interests and hopefully saves you the headaches that me and my family had to endure

Save your money. This gym has lost 4 coachs in the short time we've been here. They lack initiative, creativity, and the ability to hold on to anyone with experience in competitive cheer. If you value your childs mental health avoid this gym. If you're looking for someone to just pick your child up from school and watch them until you get off work they can do that no problem. But STAY AWAY FROM THE COMPETITION side of this gym.

The Owner failed to abide to the contract. She failed to provide services that were expected within the contract. She is also unwilling to refund the rest of my money. Other people have quit with no consequences, but because I paid upfront that is apparently different. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
