I really did not want to sign up here but it is the best non premium option in the area. I visited after being disgusted by the nearby 24hr fitness and though I was underwhelmed by the lack of sauna and poor weekend hours, I have been happy with the cleanliness and availability of equipment. This gym will order new equipment if you request it and there is room in the facility, they have great group classes and instructors but most importantly they clean this place constantly! I want to give it 5 stars but I can’t due to the lack of sauna and poor weekend schedule.

Have checked out 4 different gyms since moving to The Woodlands and was starting to feel sad that I hadn’t found one that I was similar to my last one until I came here. This place is a vibe with great music playing, nice equipment/layout, have a good mix of machines for all muscle groups and a great clientele. Very happy to have found this place and they get 5 stars in my eyes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great gym in The Woodlands. Look forward to making this my new home gym for years to come

It’s a solid gym that everything I need. The leg room can get a little cramped. Their snack and drink selection is good but checkout is a cumbersome. There’s a lot of scanning and waiting. Minor complaints, though.

I’d give them four stars, but I’m having trouble understanding their hours. They open at 4am Mon-Fri and at 8am on Saturday. But on Sunday they don’t open until 10am. That’s pretty late, especially when you consider how early they open the rest of the week.

An 8am start time on Sunday to match their Saturday hours would be very welcome.

I work overseas but visit family in the Woodlands from time to time. It had been years since I had worked out at this location (during COVID-times) and I rejoined for a month while in in town. Such an easy process. Nice machines, great staff, lots of options. Highly recommend.

Every class I've ever taken here (most are FREE with a Basic membership) have been awesome! The instructors bring the enthusiasm to feed your energy and keep you motivated! My favorite classes are Pop Pilates, Les Mills Core and Yoga with Tiffany, and Sprint with Veronica! I also want to try Body Pump and Zumba!

They require 10 steps just to cancel membership and Pam the manager will try to stall the cancelation as much as she can. Do not sign up at this gym. They do not care about their patrons. The staff at the kids area are lazy and do a poor job. The manager is very rude. The floors are always dirty, especially in the group class. The people at the front desk are always in their phones and do not greet. Do not recommend this gym at all.

The worst thing you can do is sign up here. I have been paying for the membership for two years. I decided not to continue, but it is impossible to cancel the membership by phone. I have gone to the gym 3 times and I still can't cancel the membership because the manager is never there. It is incomprehensible that a monthly membership can never be cancelled, so they keep charging me month by month and they don't let me leave them.

This is a really great gym! I go to the gym for classes, especially combat. Sarah, Bethany, and Pedro are amazing instructors! The gym is clean with nice locker rooms. The ladies are always nice in child care, I would like to see some more activity for my kids. I homeschool so my kids are grade school age and always come with me. Overall though I have no complaints. Great location too!

We lived in Texas for a few months but had to urgently move back to Florida due to family health issues. We went to the Fitness Project to cancel our membership and followed all their requirements to do so. Despite providing all the proof they requested, including utility bills, they have continued charging us for seven months. We’ve repeatedly provided the necessary documentation, yet they refuse to refund the charges, even though we’ve been living in Florida during this time. Absolutely disgusting that you guys are stealing money from people.

Called the Woodlands location to ask a question about accepted relocation documentation as that waives the buyout fee. FYI this was all less than a 5 minute call so the extreme irritability and lack of willingness to help answer questions for 5 minutes is truly TERRIBLE customer service. I was under the impression I could provide a rental agreement to waive this fee as I was told so when I first joined. I spoke with Pam the general manager and was trying to understand since my rental agreement won’t be accepted what are the other options to remedy this situation. Asking for clarification and advice in the most respectful manner to understand all the options and how it could apply to my sublease rental to make this work, EVEN THOUGH I was reassured differently when I signed up. I asked Pam to go over the document options again as I was having a hard time understanding. She continued to say “I’m just repeating myself, do you need anything else” and I asked again for further clarification so I could understand better and she said no I already told you. I then asked, if there was someone else I could speak to, not because I am looking for a different answer I just wanted to see if someone else would be willing to help me understand my options or a solution for me. She blatantly said no ready to hang up. Pam continued to be extremely rude and disrepectful I have truly never been talked to in that manner, ESPECIALLY not from a general manner. I continued to be respectful I finally asked Pam why she was cutting me off and refusing to answer my questions or connect me to someone else who would be willing to help me understand better. She continued to be extremely rude and defensive when I asked her why she was showing me attitude as I am just a customer trying to understand her options and ask for advice. She then hung up on me angrily saying she will send me my agreement through email which she never did, and said she will connect me to someone else which she also never did. When I asked her name she hung up on me. This is my first google review, I have never felt disrespected enough by any service to write one so pls take this as a warning or heads up for what you are in store for at this gym. Rest of the employees were beyond kind and helpful once I was finally able to speak to them.

So after moving to Colorado and realizing I needed to cancel my membership (which I had for a year and never went) I called and was informed I needed to be in person to cancel. Obviously since I moved that was not possible and asked to speak with a manager and was told “you could be anyone on the phone we need you in person”. Trying to digest that comment , considering what phantom person calls around and cancels gym memberships, I advise them that once again not possible and I live in Colorado now. I stop payment and to avail I now have negative credit reported and a law firm trying to collect $383. I would highly advise staying away from this place as it seems (with other comments) this business will be facing a class action lawsuit shortly.

*my number has never changed and I’ve never received a phone call or voicemail*

*update - I was contacted to fix the issue. Still waiting for it to drop off my credit report.

My experience with Fitness Project The Woodlands has been nothing short of horrible. The gym is constantly overrun with kids who are cursing, pushing people off equipment, and making you feel completely uncomfortable until you leave. This is not the kind of environment anyone should have to deal with while trying to work out.

I canceled my membership over the phone back in March, and they insisted I come in to sign paperwork to make it official. I did exactly that, yet here I am, five months later, still being charged. This gym has shown itself to be an unethical business, continuing to take money from my account despite my clear cancellation.

If you’re considering joining this gym, beware. Their environment is unpleasant, and their business practices are dishonest.

This is the best gym that I have been too, cant say enough great things about this place. When it comes to people having proper gym etiquette, maintaining a clean environment, a friendly work staff, and all the equipment being in tip top shape, this gym does it all plus more. Pam and Grayson do an excellent job running and maintaining this gym and every time I come in no matter what time it is, its always a great time because its made up of not only the best work staff but incredible people too.

Stay away from this place, they attract you with rather good pricing, but they will nickel and dime you.
I told them that I would move out of state in the next months following my subscription, and they replied that it wouldn't be a problem, I would just have to give them proofs of my moving and it would be canceled.
They are now telling me that it would take ONE MONTH to process!!!!! Who are they kidding?
They will charge me for a month, knowing I will never use the facility.
They don't even worse one star!

Small gym...over crowded...over price...not enough equipment or space...kid room have no window..I had a bad experience ....literally got charge 300 for 3-4 month..Never coming back here.

Update: Why would I be not happy...got charge $21.65x9 =194.85 +100 fee + 2 for socks...$296.85 for 4 months(went in the gym maybe 10 times)....I went their to downgrade or work something out...NO help...Also I paid the fee...Why I am still getting charge every 2 week...I would give 0 star

I have been a member of Fitness Project since August of 2018.... a few months before the facility was built-out and was called Golds Gym. It is 2 miles from my house so I can walk there and back, which I do 5 days a week, weather permitting. The employees are all extremely courteous & helpful and their Personal Trainers are very knowledgeable and always willing to assist. It is very clean and the members who are there when I go--late morning through early afternoon--are very considerate of everyone around them.
It is a great place if you are serious about improving your health, fitness and all-around outlook on life.

Canceling here is a nightmare. I asked how to go about canceling my membership due to my dr. Submitted the dr form and was told by Pamela that It was cancelled… now 2 additional charges later she saying I have to fill out another form (which was never disclosed). Then wanted to bring up the other 2 times in the last 5 years that I’ve cancelled my membership there (in good standing) like It mattered. I told her she sent me an email stating It was cancelled. No reply. The gym itself isn’t bad. Gets a little packed but front desk is nice. The manager not so much.

Abysmal Employees

Absolutely terrible experience at Fitness Project. The equipment is ok at best. The gym is often overcrowded, with long waits for popular machines. The employees are unbelievably rude. They seem more interested in chatting amongst themselves than helping members. There was even an instance when an employee told me what to do when I was working out! They specially told me to not go on my phone, keep in mind I had just picked up my phone to text a family member. As a paying member I expect better treatment! I recommend taking your business elsewhere, where employees aren’t controlling your every step.

We canceled our 2 memberships in September. This company continued charging the more expensive membership for several months. We called to speak with managers at 3 locations to request a refund, and they weren't available. They said we had to pay 30 more days. We put a stop payment and reported to our credit card company.
*update* we reported fraud charges to our bank and submitting a complaint to the better business bureau. Bank issued a refund, but fitness project continues to harass our family for fraudulant charges.

I decided to join this gym for three reasons. Proximity. I can walk there. It's in the same shopping center as a Chase bank, a CVS, a Starbucks and so on. What sealed the deal was that I decided to go early in the week after 5 to see if it gets too crowded. I found that the gym had enough patrons but not too much. Machines were for the most part available. I didn't see a single machine out of order so they're prompt about making your membership fully count. Finally, when I saw how people here re-rack their weights in an orderly fashion, I knew that I was going to become a member. So far I have zero regrets and know that I am actually not even using the gym to it's full potential.
The place is clean. People are polite and courteous. Staff is accommodating and the trainers are very knowledgeable. The App could use some improvement but that's just being picky as a product designer! I've yet to be bothered by someone hogging a machine while on their phone (which was something I had read about in other reviews.

I enjoy this gym that I actually joined in a whim last January. The sales person showed me around, wasn’t pushy at all, and gave me the specials. Somehow we got to talking about my goals and my BMI. We ended up making a bet that my BMI was higher than he thought. If I won I got a month for free. If he won, I would join the gym. He won, ha ha! They have a cool 3D scanner that analysis your body. The classes are top notch, Sarah Gruba is my favorite instructor but every single instructor is amazing. The equipment is well maintained and the front desk is so friendly, especially Paris!

I haven't been in a gym in twenty years and I was really nervous about starting it again.
I am seventy one years old.
The fitness project jim is one of the best I have ever been in.
I love the people who work here.
I mostly interact with Paris who greets me every morning.
She is so full of sunshine.
I also have a trainer Jeff Goodman, he has made the adjustment to the gym so easy for me.

I have belonged to many fitness clubs over the years and I can finally say that I have found my home. Not only is does Fitness Project provide everything that I need- updated equipment, extensive fitness classes, and an extremely clean facility (a must for me)- they absolutely go above and beyond with their staff. I have yet to meet one staff member that doesn't exceed my expectation. Everyone is so knowledgeable, kind, and accomodating. (Especially Grayson and Nick!) All in all, I could not recommend a fitness facility more than Fitness Project Woodlands. Thank you all for everything you do!!

I was not using membership anymore so back in August 2023 i went into the location and requested to cancel me and my wifes accounts... come to find out they canceled mine and left my wifes running... i was verbally told it was good to go and i should only have to pay for the 30 days after canceling. Here we are december 2023... and I've been charged 27.06 every 2 weeks since sept (should have been last payment). so almost 200 bucks I didn't authorize. I tried to call the location and was told that the managers out for the next 2 weeks.... and tried to call another location nearby.... managers in a meeting.... oh and a 3rd location oh managers not here and wont be in till this afternoon.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIP HERE. BTW I was outside my year contract... so was no fees etc. to cancel. They are just like LA fitness and will screw you over and give you the run around... i have since submitted a charge back through bank and canceled my payment to them... they told me it would go to collections.. good luck getting it out of me.

Recently sent a web inquiry about the gym and its memberships. Wasn’t able to pick up their call and when I called back, Lauren answered and sounded irritated that I called. Her tone was displeased when I said I’ll drop by for a tour. But she kept egging for a date for predictability, I don’t think it’s a big deal to schedule a tour plus my schedule is inconsistent but usually full. I explained to her my situation but she kept insisting. I felt like I was treated as a nuisance initially then later bogged to visit. The overall looks of the gym seems nice but the customer service, or maybe just Lauren could use some work.

Worst experience ever. Husband signed up without fully reading everything so we got stuck in a contract and had to pay a $100 buy out fee each. So everything we’ve paid them has added up to about $600, only had the membership 2 months (not cause I wanted it, had to wait to afford $200 for buy out) Now the company is saying my Bank reversed almost $400 of the payments which is a lie. I called my bank and made it very clear there were no reversals made or pending and that fitness project did infact have the money (I paid in person) now my bank is filing a claim and will have to contact fitness project directly to ask why they are saying they didn’t receive money that they clearly received. So thankful for my Wells Fargo bank. Been with them over 20 years and they’re always great at handling issues. Pam is the lovely lady who continues to tell me we still owe them. Oh and hung up on me when I asked if this was something I was going to need a lawyer for because at this point I’ve done everything to end the contract that I’m supposed to and the company is trying to out right lie so I can’t exit my contract.

I personally love this gym. I would agree that my first encounter with the person signing me up, really wasn't forthright, but I think he was one bad apple. The gym is clean, the instructors are so nice and the clientele are generally people you want to make friends with. I took a Zumba class today with Amanda. She was so kind and the class met the criteria of what I was used to at Life Fitness in Atlanta which is saying a LOT!! It's the worst gym I've ever been to, make sure the person giving you your membership feels like working that day because the person who gave it to me obviously didn't feel like working and didn't explain anything to me about my contract. They never explain to you that if for some reason you don't like the gym and you want to leave, they won't let you!! No complaints with the equipment and space to work out. Just be cautious when you sign up. They have you sign a small digital box that is a 2 page contract that you cannot read beforehand AND no prior disclosure that you are committing to a 12 month contract. Not sure that would be enforceable but since the hubby likes his membership not going to pursue it. Other folks' reviews reveal the same. The female Mgr arrogant, rude and lacks customer service skills. I asked her to have the Proprietor contact me and that person never did. So clearly this biz just doesn't care about cyst service. So far all the male personnel personally encountered over the year have been very nice and courteous.
Don't take their word for anything and don't sign the digital box without them printing it up and letting you read beforehand. My husband does complain that it's always busy unless he goes very early and people always on their phones holding up machines. Staff does not intercept or post signs so Gen public is more courteous.

At Project Fitness, I experienced both positives and negatives. The customer service was fantastic, with the friendly staff always ready to assist. However, the limited space was a significant drawback. It felt cramped, and some gym-goers didn't respect others or obstructed workouts. Equipment scarcity added to the inconvenience. Expanding into the nearby Randall's old building could solve these issues. Restrooms and locker rooms were well-maintained. Overall, while Project Fitness excels in service, the cramped space hampers the experience.

Corporate does their best to avoid angry customers. Managers at their locations do not have any desire to rectify any situation. Managers talk down to customers. Blame any issues on corporate. Managers refuse to cancel month to month memberships. All in all stay away. Go somewhere where you will be treared with respect. Effective immediately the month to month membership is cancelled and Project Fitness is no longer authorized to debit the bank account.

Reply to business:
As long as one location wants to refuse to assists customers and blames the issues on corporate policy, all clubs are linked and liable for the issues. If you want to address the matter corporate should be contacted and notified that each location must resolve their complaints and adhere to laws and if the location deems corporate at fault the location reach out to corporate with the customer to resolve the complaont. Its called respecting your customers time and complaint. The location failed and corporate failed by not being reachable.

The quality of this gym went down substantially from the Golds gym before it. They slapped on new paint and removed amenities and machines. I paid for a year in advance. They told me if I pulled my card off file they would cancel my membership early. I went back on time and they now said I owed them for the next 2 months as the send in a “cancelation request”. I attempted to talk to a manager who was on break. I came back 2 hours later and he had went on a second break. Dealing with this gym is ridiculous, they charge too much and still hassle you around. Update… I received a voicemail from the manager, Pam. The first thing Pam said was that she saw the review below. She then apologized and said that it was not her intent to be rude. Pam then stated that the fee and contract have all been closed. She then apologized again, but asked that I update my review. In good faith, I am going to update my review from one star to three stars. However, if I have the same there’s others are having with continued charges, I will update my review again, and likely contact the Better Business Bureau. I do appreciate them canceling and closing the account. I was willing to pay a cancellation fee or do what was needed. Sadly, we could not get past the bad customer service.

I am highly disappointed in Pam, the manager, and I am not even a member here. My daughter, who is a 16 year old minor, signed up online without my knowledge. I didn’t even know where this gym was located. My daughter came to me after her account showed a negative balance. I asked her who fitness project was and she told me that she was told about it at school and signed up online for what she thought was a free student account. I asked her how did she sign up without an adult present. Keep in mind that I have a membership for myself and my daughter at a different gym, and I had to physically go in and show my ID to authorize my daughter to have a membership.

When I arrive at the gym, I made contact with Pam at the front desk and explain to her that I was there, too remedy the situation, because somehow my minor child was allowed to sign a contract that I was unaware of, and I never signed. Without any further discussion, Pam responded “well, that’s not our fault.” I never accused the gym of doing anything wrong nor did I say that it was the gym’s fault. Not only was Pam very rude but when I asked her how to remedy the situation, she informed me that her system was down and she couldn’t login. I provided a phone number for Pam to call me when the system is up so that we can remedy the situation. Pam also looked at my daughter and asked me if I had spoken to my daughter about signing up for the membership without my permission. I insure you that my daughter and I spoke about it and she lost several privileges as well; however, Pam was out of place for addressing that with me and my daughter. I will also note that there was a young man, who worked there, behind the desk as well. Pam asked him if the system was working for him, or if he had issues with the system, and he told her no. The general demeanor of that employee was very dismissive of Pam. I only mention that to say I don’t know if that was just the demeanor of the employee or if he was reacting to Pam as a manager who may generally be rude to others.

As of right now, I still have not received a return phone call from Pam regarding the account. I have gone online to attempt to find a number for the corporate office, so that I can remedy the issue, and I am not finding a direct number anywhere.

As I am reading additional reviews of this gym, I am seeing that there is a common trend about the contracts as well as the demeanor of the manager. If I do receive a call back without having to return to the gym myself, I will update this review.

I absolutely love this gym! The kid zone is great! If it wasn't for the amazing employees in the kid zone I wouldn't be able to go to the gym everyday. Any other gym daycare I've been to doesn't compare. I can tell Jasmine, Mallory, Edith and Ayla really care for my kids and my kids loves them so much as well! I'm so grateful for them.

I tried to cancel my membership when I was sick early in pregnancy. I was told to email Pam, the manager, about having buyout fees waived. I tried twice and never received a response. I knew my membership would end in May, so I called again in March and they said all I needed to do was come sign a form in May and I would be done - no additional fees. Today I went in to sign the paperwork and was told I’d still be charged for the next 30 days even after my contract ended because there is a 30-day cancellation process. Spoke to 3 employees who were VERY RUDE and disrespectful. Pam was there but would not speak with me. I understand a contract is a contract - but there is no excuse for being unresponsive to emails and rude in person. I wish I had read more reviews before joining - it’s clear they have always had poor customer service.

The gym itself is nice but there are plenty of nice gyms in the area. Find one with kind employees.

Gym is fine. Make sure to read all the reviews if you don't plan on staying in your contract for the entire term. My wife and I bought a house away from the area, but it has to be 25 MILES (not minutes) away from another location in order to cancel with no penalties. It would have taken 35 minutes to get to the nearest gym from our house, but "Policy is policy". Sure, I signed the contract, so it is what it is. Also be aware of the $100 cancellation fee, and an additional 30 days to "process your cancellation".

Finally enjoy working out again!! I joined this gym about 7 months ago and LOVE it! There are tons of great classes to choose from and the classes are easy to book with the app. The fitness instructors are top notch and know what they are doing. I also feel like this is the cleanest gym I have ever been in. You can actively see the work staff ensuring each machine and area around it are clean. The gym is fine. You’ll get almost everything you need for fitness out of it. Generally clean, equipment good, though the cable machines seemed to be broken a fair amount of the time when I was actively using this gym. On the smaller side, so 2:30-7:00 pm was always pretty packed, whenever I went in. Mornings before 7:30 were much more reasonable.

Like all gyms, it’s difficult to get out of a contract. Changed to a home gym and tried to cancel my membership in November 2022, but there was a $100 fee plus a one month run-out charge. Decided it would be $20 cheaper to wait until my contract was up. Cancelled on the date they said I could cancel for free, but it turns out there’s still a one month run-out fee. I did sign the contract, and it’s true, but it’s aggravating that I was told otherwise and had to go in a couple times to cancel and still be charged.

They make you cancel in person, it can’t be over the phone. I understand why they do this. Gyms have a hard time staying in business and requiring you to go in makes people forget to go in and cancel, getting the gym a little more money.

Fitness Project The Woodlands is ABSOLUTELY predatory. 

They charged me membership fees for MORE THAN A YEAR after I stepped up (as an employee) to help them with classes they couldn’t get covered in Conroe.

I have notified them SIX MONTHS IN A ROW that my daughter’s membership is CANCELED and NOT AUTHORIZED TO BE WITHDRAWN. It is in writing.

I am WAY beyond my contract EXPIRATION date.

The staff I have talked to about this are TERRIFIED that they will get FIRED if they cancel my membership per my request.

These are PREDATORY business practices and TERRIBLE management. Other than AMAZING FITNESS INSTRUCTORS, these two themes are all I’ve experienced from The Fitness Project.

Finally, I made management of the Fitness Project keenly aware several months ago that I would share my experience in exchange for not being able to professionally resolve these issues. They had fair warning and still refuse to correct the issues.

I also plan to write to the BBB in hopes of enacting positive change. Until then, consumers beware.

DO NOT join this gym! I was told that if I signed a cancelation form before a certain date that I would not get charge after that date. I went into the gym where they prompted me to sign on the pinpad and did not show me any paperwork at the time i signed. Turns out they charged me an additional month after I signed the cancelation which apparently was stated on paperwork that wasn't shown to me, but emailed to me after the fact. This is a TERRIBLE gym run by an even worse general manager who is completely unwilling to resolve any issues or share a customer service number! Save your time and money and join a gym that doesn't have such a rude manager with an ego problem who says things like "there's no one above me. I'm the manager and I have final say!"

Update: I called another Fitness Project gym and was given the customer service number to a man named Jim without a problem. He was able to give me a partial refund. Turns out the general manager here doesn't have final say. Changing this review from 1 star to 3 only because Jim was very nice and understanding.

Amazing gym and even better staff!

I have been going to this gym for about a year and so far I love it. The front desk staff, Jess & Kevoughn are super nice and always welcoming. I have tried most of the classes and I love them all. My favorites are LM tone, pop pilates, and sprint. Gym and bathrooms are always very clean.

Very nice gym I will say, but my cousin invited me to come look at it so I tried getting a 7 day pass to try it out but they wouldn’t let me, so I had to buy a membership to try it out, then I tried canceling it because I can’t afford it right now, but they won’t let me cancel it unless I pay 100 dollars to get out of it or continue to pay the money out of my pockets for it monthly that I also don’t have. Very very upset. Offered no other alternatives after explaining that I can’t afford it, so my choices are to either spend money I don’t have on a gym I’m not going to, or spend even more money I don’t have to get out of the membership. But my contract stated I could cancel 30 days in advance before my next payment, but they said I couldn’t cancel it until i’ve paid for a full 12 months.

Overall clean facility and well equipped. It’s a smaller location though so it’s ok. Some patrons take forever on a machine and it gets annoying to wait around. Staff is ok but kinda ignores you sometimes. Facility is ok for now until I find a new one.

FP is a great little gym with some amazing coaches and trainers and a good class schedule. My only complain would be that group exercise manager has an attitude problem and is not open to listen to suggestions of feedback, they need someone willing to listen without getting offended.

I’m really enjoying my workouts here. Nice diversity of classes, awesome team of instructors. BodyPump with Veronica Stouffer and Amy Jackson are amazing. Laura Anderson, Stephanie Scott, Tiffany McElmeel, Sarah Nguyen and of course Sarah Gruba who leads the team. All of them are absolutely the best! Highly recommend this fitness club.

I have called multiple times to speak to a personal trainer about my needs and what I was looking for. I was on the phone with a gentleman for 15 mins yesterday and told me a trainer would call me which didn’t happen. I called again today and was put on hold and never got in touch with someone

I canceled membership on February 21, 2022. Because I had not fulfilled a one year membership requirement, I was offered to pay a 100 dollar early termination fee, which I did on February 24, 2022 when they sent me the bill.

They said I would be billed dues for one additional month from my cancellation. I found this unseemly, as I had paid a 100 dollar early termination fee, but whatever.

After being billed dues throughout the month of March, I noticed I was still billed on April 3, 2022. I called that day to notify them. First, they said since I had not fulfilled my year commitment I would continue to be billed until the one year anniversary of joining. (August 2022) I explained that I paid the 100 dollar early termination fee on February 24, 2022.

They assured me it would be taken care of, and they would contact me. Well, today, April 17, 2022, they again, improperly drew from my bank account.

Best case scenario, their business practices are shoddy and negligent. More likely, they are operating in bad faith, content to continue thieving dues they aren't entitled to. Beware.

UPDATE 5/11/2022: I was contacted by management shortly after I left the review. They apologized for the mistake, and they returned the improper charges.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Do NOT sign a contract with them. Plenty of gyms are pay by month with no contract. Go there instead. When I moved in September I tried to call cancel. I was told I would have to come do this in person. I got a babysitter and took time out of my schedule and drove a long ways from my new place to cancel in person THEN was told that couldn’t be authorized without a manager so I’d have to come back when the manager was there. Then why wasn’t I given that information on the phone the first time I asked? I was told the manager would be in contact with me but never received a call so I reached out AGAIN attempting to cancel. After proving I lived to far for this to even be a viable option for me anymore my membership was finally cancelled in MARCH. That’s MONTHS of payments. I finally thought I had made the last one when I get a letter in the mail from a law office saying I still owe… instead of contacting me directly to discuss you went to a law office. This could hurt my credit. I made the payment no problem. All you had to do was ask. I will absolutely never go here again and will let everyone know of my terrible experience.

I absolutely love working out at this club! There are so many types of fitness classes to choose from. Sarah Phelps teaches the best Spin class I have ever attended! The music she uses in class is amazing and the energy is incredible! Body Pump classes give a full body workout. It is like dancing with weights. The lighting feels like you are working out in a dance club.

The staff is wonderful. They make you feel right at home and are always friendly. Shout out to Terry!!! Thanks for all your help!

This place is amazing! It's clean, the staff is knowledgeable and very welcoming and encouraging. This is my favorite gym to come to. They have really helped me in my own transformation. Ask for Terry. He shows you how to use all the machines and has a back so big they call him pTERRYdactyl. Such a fun environment. I recommend joing. Can't beat the prices either. They're always running promotions to save you money.

New to the gym and I have only had positive experiences. With all the bad reviews, I figured there is nothing to lose with the 7 day trial. They sent me welcoming emails with offers to even extend the free trial period! The water in the men's shower gets super hot. 99% of the equipment is fully functioning. The classes always seem full of people and energy. Nothing to lose by using the trial. Don't let the reviews keep you from at least checking the place out!
