Redefine is an excellent option for personal training and small group exercise no matter what age or fitness level you are at! The space has all you need and the trainers are welcoming and very knowledgeable! I started going when I was in my second trimester of pregnancy and am looking forward to going back for post partum specific exercises too. Lindsay is knowledgeable, personable and will keep you accountable! I highly recommend!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my work out sessions each week with Lindsey at Redefine Fitness and Lifestyle. I had been searching for an affordable way to have a trainer to help motivate me and this was a God send! Two times a week and I’m already noticing changes in my strength and energy. I have had fun working with Lindsay and David. They shepherd me through various sets of exercises that have increased my flexibility. And, I have a relationship with each of them so it is not a mass workout place with 60 treadmills--they work with you!

When I experienced extreme fatigue and decreased stamina not long after my 75th birthday, I chalked it up to aging and post-polio syndrome - BUT I was not willing to go down without a fight! David was recommended as someone who was willing to help me turn things around and he has not disappointed.
I am limited in some things but the impressive thing about working with David is that he recognizes where my strengths are and hones in on improving those, but he also knows where to gently push me to do things that I wasn’t sure I could do.
He is incredibly knowledgeable, very personable and amazingly creative in his individualized approach to his clients. Oh, and I’m back to having some very productive days again!

I have been training with David for almost 2.5 years. His style of functional fitness, blended with is depth of knowledge in health and wellness, and his passion for helping people has made me a fan.
My initial intention was only to go to a trainer to "get started", but after a few months I was getting stronger and feeling better. Less aches and pains. So I was hooked, my 2 months has become over 2 years with someone who I believe understands my needs as a middle aged man, and is helping me to get stronger and healthier so I can live that long healthy life we all dream to have. David is a knowledgeable trainer who knows the ins and outs of functional mobility and strengthening. He is thorough with creating an exercise routine that addresses all aspects of your mobility. I go to him because I trust his expertise. He is friendly, flexible, and he knows how to challenge you in a way that will get you stronger and more mobile. He can train anyone in any stage of their life or fitness journey. As a full time working mom, I can make all the excuses to not workout, but I know that having someone to hold me accountable is the best approach to achieving my goals and David is your guy.
I leave each workout sweaty because he knows how to challenge you.
The facility is also spacious and clean. Overall, he has a great setup!

David, owner and trainer, at ReDefine, has a wealth of knowledge of body mechanics and muscular functions, as well as a gift for teaching. The gym is designed for small-group training sessions that are catered to each person’s needs.
David has a keen adaptability to listen to my needs, weaknesses (aka body aches), and then adjust my workouts to increase strength and stability. His training sessions are focused on whole-body strength, with a focus on a strong core. I actually look forward to my twice-weekly workouts with him.

I have worked out with David for about a year and a half. He does a great job of tailoring each workout to my needs and adjusting for the inevitable aches and pains of a sixty-five year old woman. Every squat or push-up or lift targets a specific purpose whether strength or mobility or balance. I was initially reluctant to use a trainer because it seemed "fancy", but David and ReDefine Fitness are comfortable and welcoming. I feel so strong now!

David is an excellent personal trainer. What makes him unique is that he listens to clients and crafts workouts for them that fit their needs and goals.
I’ve watched some trainers that are gruff and intimidating. Not David - he is friendly and approachable. I’ve learned a lot from him and would recommend him to anyone in Tyler looking to up their overall fitness and wellness.

I love how Redefine Fitness offers small group workouts - its not so big that you get lost in the crowd, but also more affordable than one-on-one personal training. David Fennell is a true expert - he knows how to push me without causing injury, and his workouts are unlike any I've experienced. This is the best way to workout, IMO.
