This gym is a serious accident waiting to happen. I’ve been to many gyms in my life, but never one this dangerous and neglected. The place looks chaotic from the moment you walk in — no control, no rules, no real trainers watching over what’s happening. The boxing area is especially alarming. People are allowed to fight full contact without headgear, supervision, or even basic training. It’s honestly a miracle that no one has been seriously injured or killed yet. You can see punches thrown with full force between untrained people while the staff just looks away.

The upstairs floor shakes and creaks every time someone moves; it feels like it could collapse at any moment. There are exposed wires, broken mirrors, and dirty bathrooms that clearly haven’t been disinfected in days. Dust covers everything. It smells bad, the air is heavy, and it doesn’t feel safe to breathe there for long.

Emergency vehicles have been seen outside more than once because of accidents that could have been avoided if the owners cared about safety. But they don’t. It’s obvious they just want to take people’s money without maintaining anything. The management doesn’t care about complaints, and the staff seems either untrained or indifferent.

This is not just an unprofessional place — it’s a dangerous environment. Someone could easily get seriously hurt or worse. I strongly advise anyone considering joining to look elsewhere. Your health and safety are worth much more than a cheap membership.

Malísimo gymnacio!!!!! El Erick es mandón y grosero con hombres y peor con mujeres.el gym está muy viejo,sucio,deteriorado, el equipo dañado,los baños súper sucios,hay cableados afuera expuestos ,los escalones de madera se están por caer, el segundo piso es inestable!!! está caro y está a mejor precio el trufit por eso me cambié para allá. Y los aires acondicionados no funcionan ni la calefacción en tiempos de frío, los trapos con los que limpian los aparatos súper sucios y le dije a la dueña ashley y se rio. Frecuentemente hay peleas y los entrenadores dejan que se suban al ring a pelear muchachos sin experiencia y son golpeados por otros fuertemente. El tiempo que fui asistió varias veces la policía y ambulancia! Me llevo una muy mala experiencia de ahí. No gasten su dinero nada es como dicen ellos en Instagram jajajaja

Malísimo gimnasio Ashley Tovar y Erick Marin son super groseros y prepotentes con la gente, el gym es muy viejo,no hay ni calefacción ni iré acondicionado, los baños super sucios y constantemente va la policía porque hay muchos problemas y accidentes porque no están capacitados. Una vez vi como un muchacho se lo llevó la ambulancia 🚑

What's not to love about an old school gym full of passion and Grit! On top of the owners being very humble and friendly make it perfect! The meals from " Thecoziemake are superb and the equipment is well taken care of and the atmosphere is perfect wether your beginning your health journey or an advanced gym junkie 🩵🩵🩵! I'm not from the area but this is gonna be my 1st pick whenever I'm in town!

Went recently to check out the place before signing up and was extremely impressed. I was greeted by Erick and appreciated the fact that he took time to show me the gym and answer any questions despite working with an athlete! The gym has everything one might need to start your journey or even if you’re a more experienced gym enthusiast looking to take the next step. Not to mention the gym is extremely peaceful in the early morning, the environment was great and anyone would benefit from it. Definitely making the transition here and ditching the commercial gym 👍🏽

Erick is more than a trainer, he genuinely cares about his work. I came to him for unique needs and he helped me reach what at the moment was my goal. 7 years later, he helped my husband train for rigorous exams which he passed! Rise Above Fitness is more than another gym. It's a healthy place with exceptional staff. I recommend coming to try the atmosphere and professionalism. Come over if you want results!
