My child learned nothing at this gym. When I requested my son to be moved to a different class that was more advanced, the owner (man) got in my face in front of all the parents and told me my son couldn’t do a back bend. Yes I know because he is learning absolutely nothing here. Also the lock on the bathroom door didn’t work for over a year which is creepy considering little girls and boys are going to the restroom and have no privacy due to people opening the door while they were on the toilet. I don’t recommend to anyone.

This place is not a safe place to take someone who is newly learning cheer. I signed my 6 year old up for her first cheer class here and when she arrived the teacher was really nice and everything but I noticed right away there was no spotting at all when the kids were doing somersaults. Over and over again my daughter would do the somersaults wrong putting all the weight on her neck and the teacher didn't do anything to help her do it right. By the 3rd class she had injured her neck and I quit taking her there. Found a way better place that had teachers who are certified in injury prevention. Save your kids spinal cord, don't go here.

Rock City Cheer & Tumble isn't our home gym but I cannot express enough gratitude for the mentorship and coaching that my girls have received from Coach Jay. Jay's approach, direct and immediate feedback and correction helped get my big girl to the Level 2 team that she was wanting to make for 2024-2025 and is now working with my younger daughter to take her natural power and refine it with technique. Proud to recommend RCC and looking forward to continuing our privates with Jay. Cheer Dad Approved!

Spent $400 on the space and they never showed up. We waited for the guests to arrive to tell them we were locked out of the building and we'd have to have our party somewhere else. I cannot tell if they are any good because they were literally not there to receive anyone or unlock the building. My poor cousin (on her 3rd birthday) was too excited to be here and it was a total let down. 😢

We just recently moved to the area, and my daughter wanted to try out cheer, but I was a bit hesitant since she's never done cheer before, so I asked what was the best thing she can do that will lead her up to doing cheer, and one of the coaches stated Tumbling. I enrolled her in the summer tumbling program she absolutely loved it, and is doing really well! Everyone is so nice and welcoming here. Now she is enrolled in Tumbling for a year, her coach is the sweetest and so awesome. Shout out to coach Meredith !!!! This place is great, they work well with all the kids.

This is a tremendous group of people running an excellent set of programs. The coaches are great with the kids. The teams learn a lot and there is plenty to do and learn. It is a good community of people. Your kids will be challenged. They will grow and have a great time.

Update 5/24/22 - We gave the place another chance as a friend of my daughter goes here. My daughter has been going for about 3 month now. People are super friendly, knowledgeable, and busy.

My daughter love her coaches and we are happy as with her progress.

I really wanted to put my daughter here as it's very close to my house. Unfortunately, we didn't even get to a trial class.

My wife went to ask for information and could not get anyone to help... even though there was 4 people at the office ( and they saw her). A trainer had to leave her group to tell the people at the office that my wife was waiting...

The lady that spoke with my wife kept telling my wife that all information was on the packet they sent me.

It can be an awesome place with awesome coaches and a wonderful clean setting, but if you can't treat people with decency, then all the other stuff doesn't matter...not in our area with so many options!

We absolutely love this place. My daughter sees Jay for private lessons and he really understands how to motivate her and get the very best from her during their time together. She adores him and his coaching style. Couldn’t be happier we found Rock City! 😀

This gym is new to Celina but not new to the sport of competitive cheer (Rock City’s Dallas location was renowned for winning titles before relocating north). The owners are very hands-on and the small enrollment ensures a lot of one-on-one attention for athletes. What we like best is that all of the coaches are adults with a passion for coaching…this is their chosen career (unlike other gyms where there’s a revolving door of high school & collegiate student-coaches working with the kids). Jay & Kristen Rock have built our daughter’s confidence and grown her skill set exponentially.

There are varying class levels depending on age and skill, including private lessons for those inclined. The teaching staff is great, they are firm on my kiddos when they need to be and it helps them get the most out of each class. All and all great and fun experience for my children.

Tried the free trial class to see if my daughter would like it. Shes been in a gymnastics class where she does the bars, beams, and some tumbling. She really enjoyed the class which focuses on tumbling only and wants to sign up. It was much more structured and she seems to be much more engaged. I love how the coach provided feedback when needed.
