Our daughter started at Rockwall Dance Academy (“RDA”) in February of 2021. RDA is a wonderful studio that I would highly recommend. It offers multiple different types of dance (ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap) as well as technique classes for your dancer. Additionally, and probably most importantly, it offers several different tracks for you and your dancer to choose.

If your dancer wants to do competitive dance and go to several different dance competitions, then they can try out and join, The Dance Company at RDA. If they aren’t interested in that, but would like to be part of a big production, RDA offers the Nutcracker every winter. Finally, if they want to take classes and participate in a recital in the Spring, that option is available as well. It all depends on yours and your dancer’s schedule.

As for the staff, Ms. Emily and her team make the studio feel like home. They are always available to provide answers to questions, or in my case, hair ties when you forget them at the house.

Again, highly recommend the studio and the people in it. It’s a supportive community that cares for every dance student and supports all the little wins in the dancer’s career.

We have had an amazing experience at RDA! The instructors and office staff have all been great to work with. We have 2 dancers with unique skill sets yet both are encouraged to do their best and get better everyday! We have had nothing but positive experiences!

Rockwall Dance Academy has been so wonderful for my daughter! They have provided a positive environment, filled with amazing instructors and supportive community for us to thrive and flourish! My daughter is going on her 8th year with the studio and has been there since the studio 1st opened in 2016! Through dance she has grown tremendously with her confidence and her passion of DANCE! This is our second year at RDA. We found the studio after moving from out of state and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Everyone at the studio welcomed me and my daughter with open arms and they are truly a second family to us. Emily and her staff have created a place where the students grow as dancers but also learn how to support and encourage one another.

We are starting our fourth dance season with RDA and we are so in love with this studio. They are great at communicating and providing a fun and safe space to dance. Our daughter has loved every one of her dance instructors here and loves everything they have to offer from summer dance camps, the Nutcracker, and company team.

RDA puts so much heart into every student! They bust their butts on the recitals, extra mile is the expectation.

They also prioritize the safety and the well-being of the students. I see them checking on the girls all the time, pushing them to be their best, making them follow the rules! Builds character haha. I’m happy to know they’re in safe hands.

We absolutely adore RDA! My daughter has grown so much as a dancer since joining RDA and we love the community and “family” atmosphere that RDA has.

The teachers, staff and owner (Emily) go out of their way to make sure our dancers get exactly what they need to succeed!

We recently had a dance recital through RDA and Emily & the studio were open to concerns and suggestions when we brought them up before hand (I questioned some back & forth hairstyle changes, that didnt have a lot of time to be done backstage). RDA was MORE THAN accommodating and helped find a solution that would work for everyone.

I love that RDA always communicates all studio, dance and recital matters in clear emails & even made us a recital website that we could refer back to for all recital policies, schedules and questions!

I love RDA & will remain a RDA dance mom ❤️

Our kids had a recital. During intermission we try to get our children out so we could leave because we had another important engagements to go to. The moms who were volunteering where absolutely disgusting. They were holding our children hostage refusing to give let us leave with them. The lady who usually works at the front was literally screaming at us. It was insane. I will be taking my child to another dance studio where I am not screamed at for trying to get my child. These moms and that worker just cost RDA a lot of money. A lot of us aren’t going to be going there anymore. This was a disgrace

We have been at RDA for three years and my girls have loved dancing here. Each of the teachers have been skilled educators and wonderful individuals. Emily and Maddi are a blessing to work with. As a family of six scheduling can be a challenge, but no matter how busy they are they have always been kind and patient with me and all my questions. We really enjoy this studio and it has become a special little piece of our family.

Emily is not only gifted at dancing herself but more importantly in this case, is gifted at teaching others. She has excellent rapport with both her students and with their parents. I highly recommend RDA to anyone!
