Top notch all around - from the start, my experience with RxFit has been awesome!

I began with a 1:1 call with Danny, the owner, who took the time to understand my goals and what I wanted to get out of training. He walked me through the whole process and set me up with my trainer, Isabella.

Isabella has been amazing to work with - I had 0 strength training experience going in, and she's been encouraging, attentive, and helpful when it comes to building my confidence, competence, and knowledge in the gym.

Each workout is tailored to me, and she includes great exercises and stretches to focus on between sessions. My main activity is running, but she incorporates strength, recovery, and longevity into all of our sessions so I can achieve my fitness goals in an out of the gym!

Ashlyn has been fantastic to work with. She has great knowledge of functional movement that improves how the body works and moves. I've worked out on my own for years but after our first session I was sore (in a good way!) in muscles I clearly had not been activating properly using standard lifts. I really appreciate the in-depth history, goal discussions, and tailored approach that RXFit takes to course correct after a few decades of less than perfect movement patterns.

My experience started out ok. The physical training was decent with Mykia for the nearly 2 months. It got weirder and weirder as our personalities clashed. What was really frustrating was that she kept claiming to be a life coach. In action though, it was as though she hid behind her title of life coach instead of acknowledging the repeated hurtful gestures she did.
I felt like she both admired me (she said so), but despised me simultaneously (through action). It made my head spin. I also don’t know if she lied to me about her admiration, but her disdain for me was subtle and consistent.
I made numerous attempts to have conciliatory conversations because she seemed to have good intentions. However, she usually denied any error initially, but often admitted at the end she was in the wrong. That process was exhausting. She would change for a session or two and then do something else hurtful.

In our last session she crossed lines that were astoundingly hurtful and only because I gently acknowledged how disrespectful she was in the moment did she consider after the fact that perhaps she once again did something harmful. I wanted to give her a final opportunity to end the cycle of harm at our last session. Instead, she ghosted me even though I confirmed the night before.

Apparently, old reviews have experienced her defensiveness. I wish I had seen them.

I have never had such a disrespectful and unprofessional training experience. I have been an athlete my entire life. I have trained with many trainers. I was genuinely harmed by this person and she would have continued if I didn’t quit. I think she is a great trainer, but I would advise that she is not yet capable of dealing with personal boundaries well and would benefit from some real training on how to set appropriate limits on how much she shares with clients.

I’ve only been working with Mykia for 3 months, but I was sold from the first consult. I could talk about the normal stuff like that my clothes fit better and that I have more energy, but my nerdy self want to gush about her expertise and wealth of knowledge! It’s great to be able to shoot questions at her as needed to help me make good decisions outside of our sessions. Her answers are thorough and scientifically-backed, but also she’s willing to say when she doesn’t know something. Her ability to adapt to my body and life in the moment are also super important. She somehow manages to be comforting and soft spoken while also being a firm hard ass. The balance is perfect and continues to impress. Im excited to see where I will be in coming months!

I've been training with Coach Mykia for a few months now and she has been fantastic. She has helped me stay accountable to my goals, and I am feeling so much healthier and happier. One of my main goals was to regain strength in my knee which had weakened over the pandemic and which had started to cause me some pain. Mykia has been attentive and understanding, and has a full library of exercises in her head and is able to adapt on the fly if necessary. I enjoyed working out with coach Mykia. The workouts were challenging and she was supportive with my nutrition plans too. We focused on form and agility. I saw results in the 3 months with her. However, I was sad to cancel services due to some issues when she started showing up late several times to our sessions. I didn’t say anything at first, then after feeling resentful that I was paying for several sessions and not getting full hour I confronted her. She was defensive and wouldn’t be accountable. She finally offered two free sessions to make up the time and then went back on her word. While I enjoyed the workouts this kind of unprofessional behavior should be avoided.

I have worked with coach Mykia for a month now and can’t say enough good things! I use to workout pretty frequently but had taken some time off and wanted to familiarize myself in the gym again and she went above and beyond. She helped me increase my strength, correct my form, taught me new workouts to focus on key areas- plus she is an amazing person. What an amazing business! Danny runs a great business that provides a service that is overwhelmingly being replaced by internet based services. When I started looking for a personal trainer, I was constantly being asked to use video conference bases services. It wasn't what I was looking for. I needed a personal trainer who would come to my house and help me in person. This is the service RX Fit provides.

I was blessed to be matched with Mykia (pronounced Micah). She's a kind and compassionate personal trainer. I wasn't looking for a military style training regimen. I needed someone encouraging to help me on my journey and to hold me accountable to making the changes necessary to live a happier and healthier life. Mykia provided exactly that service.

She didn't just show up to my house on the days that I needed to work out. She also stayed in constant contact via text. She offered guidance for managing stress throughout the workday, provided meal plans and recipes to improve my diet, and celebrated my wins and progress with me.

She was willing and able to modify and scale the workouts on every visit when it was necessary to work around a back injury or weak muscle tone in a supporting muscle group that made some movements too difficult in the beginning.

She never yelled at me or used any negative methods to motivate me. She was always an encouraging presence and celebrated every bit of progress I made.

When a muscle would cramp or knot up before or during the workout, she would work with me to perform various stretches and rolling out to relax the muscle. She would use my theragun if necessary to loosen up any stubborn spots. It was never a simple workout. She always performed whatever movement changes and/or supports were necessary to ensure my body performed and recovered to the best of its ability (and some days, it wasn't achieving much).

When I wasn't working out or discussing nutrition via text, Mykia would be researching my movement limitations or injuries and sending me material to help me better understand what was happening with my body and what we needed to do to heal and strengthen it.

I could not have asked for a better trainer to be matched with. Even though I've stopped receiving personal training, I'm still practicing the changes Mykia introduced into my life and continue to work on making this healthy living a permanent lifestyle change.

If you need a personal trainer, don't balk at the price of RX Fit's services. They're worth so much more than the cost and they're incredibly effective at improving people's lives through exercise, nutrition, and many other self improvement methodologies.

My coach is Grace. She is super sweet and yet pushes you to succeed with her calm demeanor. I started training with grace in 2021, and came to her after years of working out.

I had a pretty severe injury at the time and she worked with me through it to help me get control of my body.

I'm now the strongest and most toned/defined I've ever been, my injury has resolved and I am really loving how my body works.

Danny and Mykia have been amazing! I have worked out with RX Fit since August 2021. I was nervous meeting with a personal trainer because I was out of shape and have medical issues. I didn’t know if they would be able to meet my needs but they definitely surpassed my expectations. Because of my health, I sometimes have to change my schedule on a last minute basis and they all are more than accommodating. I have worked with Danny, Mykia and Navin. Danny did a thorough job on my assessment and made me feel at ease. He is very detail oriented and pushes you when you work out but doesn’t push you past your limits. He is always available by text so if you have a question outside of your session he is there for you. Mykia is so sweet and really cares about her clients. She also advises me on my nutrition and how to maximize my workouts. She is tough but encouraging and always listens to me. Navin is so fun and makes working out feel like less of a chore. He texts me in between sessions to ask how I’m doing and also advises me on what to do if I want to workout at home. You can’t go wrong with anyone on this team! I have lost weight and feel way more toned than before. I have gained confidence, skill and my heath is improving. I am so glad I found them! Could not live without them! Danny is hands down an amazing trainer. He is thorough, listens to my needs and goals and an all round outstanding professional. He is definitely not the typical gym workout/trainer. I’ve been training with Danny since Fall 2019 and I have loved seeing the positive results from our sessions. While I have seen weight loss results since working with him, his primary goal/focus is functional fitness. I've been with RX Fit for three months now. The initial consultation with Danny was fun and painless. He's available whenever you need him.

I was matched with Jordan. We have sessions 3x a week. I definitely get what I pay for. He pushes me when I need it and is always very encouraging. All trainers come to you, which is a big selling point for me. Jordan is very skilled at adjusting to whatever equipment we have available. You'll work hard no matter what. Overall, his passion for fitness really shows.
