Saddle Up CrossFit may be a smaller gym, but it is truly a world class community fitness option in the Wise County area. I have been going for about three months now. The coaches have made such a big difference in my routine. They have really helped me scale the workouts to my fitness level while also focusing on the right "form" for the movements. The workouts can be scaled for any level from beginner to advanced. And the classes are small enough to where you actually can get one on one coaching instead of getting lost in a sea of other athletes! The community and support that I get from staff and members alike makes me look forward to my next workout in this Christian-centered positive environment! This box focuses not only the workouts but also the nutrition. Offering members a program to help on proper nutrition to fuel their body the right way. With the welcoming community, supportive coaching, and scalable workouts I am so blessed to have found this gym. And if you want to just try it out before any commitment, then they offer that "drop in" option! One class and I was hooked...Easy 5 stars :-)

Three weeks in and definitely enjoying the atmosphere, all around an encouraging setting. I have been a member of Saddle Up CrossFit for around 5 and a half years, I can say that the gym’s culture is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. “Faith. Fitness. Family. Fun.”, their slogan is spot on. After just one class, I was hooked! The coaches are top notch, they do an excellent job of recognizing your strengths/weaknesses, and implementing corrections where needed. All the members are welcoming and supportive, absolutely no judgment. I instantly felt part of the SUCF family and I don’t think I could have picked a better box to join!

Recently participated in one of their nutrition challenges and could not be more excited about my results! All I can say is I wish I had signed up for nutrition coaching much sooner! I was seeing progress in the gym, but really noticed positive changes in body composition after we incorporated nutrition.
I’ve tried most the fad diets out there and this is the first time that I’m actually looking forward to continue eating better. The program is designed to add in and build upon good habits each week, so it’s easy to stay consistent and not overwhelming. It makes you realize the importance of nutrition and those good habits help make it a lifestyle change rather than just a diet.
If you have any interest in nutrition or CrossFit in general then don’t hesitate to reach out to the coaches here at SUCF!

Almost 4yrs at Saddle Up CrossFit. I am still the healthiest and fittest I have ever been. The community here is still second to none, the coaching staff is always working to improve themselves, and the facilities is always improving as well!

Loved this corssfit experience! I was lucky enough to get to drop into a few classes as an experienced crossfitter. The programming was AWESOME! The coaches were so knowledgeable and even gave me a tip that changed my whole rowing life! Family and animal oriented, extremely welcoming. I will definitely drop in whenever I'm in town. Due to my business, I sit a lot, either in front of a computer or in the van. I saw my mother fall to pieces and die. I am now seeing my husband's parents slowly fade away. I knew I needed to do something to change all this. A chance meeting with Blayne, who I did not know at the time was a coach, inspired me to try this gym. He assured me that CrossFit is NOT scary! That is what I have always been told, for a person who has been sedentary for too long. I also met a couple of attendees who assured me that I should go. I admit it is hard, to walk into a gym, not really knowing anyone, overweight and in truly awful physical shape. (I can do sit-ups now because Blayne told me how!) But Blayne was there, to coach that hour. Others approached and welcomed me. I also met one of the gym owners, Jason. He was so kind and helpful and made sure I was able to do the exercises, even though they were modified for me due to past shoulder and knee surgeries and my sedentary life. Going to this gym is the "best hour of the day" now. I still don't understand all the exercises and still need modifications, but that is ok! Elite athletes will gladly advise you, and you don't even know that they are elite! Everyone is so welcoming and supportive, and I am so grateful for the chance meeting of Blayne. Blayne and Lynsie are my two coaches. You two rock and are my inspiration to a new and better me. Thank you so much for your patience and help. Many thanks to my various partners in the classes, who encourage me so well. Jason and Jill, thank you as well, you have been so kind. I am where I need to be and look forward to this new adventure of health and fitness. BIG PLUS, my back is starting to NOT HURT, and I am sleeping better, just in a few weeks! If you want to feel better ("move it or lose it"), you should try this gym. I will try to be one of the first to welcome you!

I’ve been going here for almost two months and when I started I couldn’t squat and couldn’t lift much of anything and now I can squat sixty five pounds and lift 185. I absolutely love this place and go as often as I can. They have amazing coaches.

Saddle Up CrossFit is a truly wonderful place!! It is more than a gym...it is a fantastic training center, with lots of class time options, led by encouraging and helpful coaches, who meet you at your level of ability! I LOVE how they help me scale the activity to what will specifically challenge me, and yet they also push the experienced athletes to a new level. The atmosphere is clean and family friendly, and there are always motivating tunes pumping through the speakers for workouts. The communication is top notch, and these people are intentional about connecting with you and following up for support. I highly recommend SUCF...it was exactly what I was looking for. The owners love helping others and seeing others succeed!

It is an amazing place to go to join a new workout family with great coaches where everyone is so nice and helpful. They teach you form and technique on how to do the excercises properly, and they encourage you to keep pushing yourself to reach the goals you have for yourself. It’s nice being able to workout to get yourself in better shape and in better health without the feeling that your being judged, because here nobody judges you…they push you to be the best you can be.

Saddle Up CrossFit is a terrific gym! I would recommend this gym to anyone staying in the area. I discovered Saddle Up CrossFit over the summer while working at camp and have attended multiple times. I decided to attend the gym during my fall seasonal work too. Jason and Jill are wonderful people that make you feel right at home. They are with you every step of the way. Educating, encouraging and cheering you on until the end of the workout. Another thing I enjoy is the available shower adjacent to the gym. It is a plus! What is there not to say about my home away from home? They may not be the biggest but they are the biggest in terms of making everyone feel like they are family and friends.
I come in looking forward to seeing all my friends sharing the same goal. We all laugh and have a great time before and after.
I have had knee issues for quite awhile and this is the ONLY place I don't feel judged or looked at differently by anyone. They come up with more than one different modification for me so as not to get "bored" and still use the muscle group(s) called for that day. Whether your new to Crossfit or a season veteran this is the place, and I've belonged to four, and this by far is my favorite. The only disappointment I have is that I didn't find them sooner.

I’ve been a member of SUCF for 2 years now. Crossfit always seemed so intimidating to me but let me tell you I was completely wrong. Crossfit is for everyone no matter what fitness level you are at. People here are like family. There is so much encouragement not just from the coaches but also from the members. The coaches Jason and Jill are amazing and make sure to help you reach your goals. They now offer nutritional coaching . I have been doing it for 2 months now I’ve lost 10 pounds so far. It has changed the way I look at food. I’ve learned that it doesn’t have to be complicated. I feel very energized, I’m not hungry, I sleep better and my Performance at the gym has significantly improved. This program helps you build so many healthy habits. My only regret is I wish I started the program sooner. Regardless if you are looking for nutritional or fitness coaching this is the place to be.

Great place to workout. I have been working out for a while with them and feel so great. The atmosphere is amazing. The coaches and members are so friendly and encouraging regardless of skill level. I really like that they are very family oriented and faith based. I recently completed the nutrition program with Jill and it was a great experience, she is very professional and was there for encouragement/accountability and to answer any question. I joined Saddle up CrossFit about a month ago now and let me say at first when someone said try CrossFit I was super intimidated. But when I walked into the gym Jill and Jason and all the members were nothing but encouraging and welcoming and now I am hooked!!!! They work with you and your needs and your body meanwhile pushing you to do your best and teaching you the best techniques!! I originally was looking for a gym just to lose weight. But now not only am I losing weight I am getting stronger with every single class, have noticed changes already in my muscles in just a month!!! Also the family feeling of walking in is the best feeling ever and no judgement feel I don’t think I could have made a better decision when I chose to join saddle up!!!

I was interested in nutrition coaching because I was looking to make a change in what I was eating and wanted accountability to get started.
I love Coach Jill and the HSN platform that she uses for nutrition coaching! She doesn't just stick you on the latest fad diet. With any life change, the goal is to identify the pitfalls and enhance and build upon the strengths. And we do just that. I finally have an obtainable eating plan that doesn't just totally take out everything I like but helps to incorporate things that are a little harder to get in. The nutrition coaching has helped me to obtain nutrition goals a lot easier than in the past.
Physically, I have lost 15lbs and tons of inches. I highly recommend the nutrition and fitness program at Saddle Up CrossFit! I have a good feeling once you start working with Coach Jill, you will be hooked and continue on!!!

Great CrossFit box in the middle of nowhere! The best part about that is that it’s 5 minutes from my house! One of my best decisions was joining Saddle Up CrossFit! I was always super intimidated by the thought of going to a CrossFit gym, I thought I needed to be in better shape, but that’s not the case at all here. I don’t know what other gyms are like, but the coaches here are outstanding and really foster a culture of becoming a better version of YOURSELF - not competing with one another. PLUS, you show up everyday and basically have a personal trainer which makes this an OUTSTANDING value for you $$. I really believe you just can’t go wrong with this gym!
