This place is AMAZING, like every class is FABULOUS. They work you hard, the community is amazing, you can watch yourself getting better every time you go, so supportive, and the information is great. One of the coolest dance studios ever created, Austin is super lucky to have it! You must try it out, even if your not a dancer, you gotta go!!!

I just finished the ultra beginner program and it was super fun! I’ve never shuffled before and decided to try it out since it’s close by and looked like a good time. I felt that it was broken down into very manageable pieces, and the energy was upbeat and encouraging. Ciara also explained some of the origins and culture of shuffle in between different steps and combos which I really appreciated!

Taking this 6-week beginner shuffle dance course has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve always been mesmerized by shuffle dancing and recently realized why, it reminds me of my favorite thing in the world: rain. There’s something about the rhythm, the lightness, and the movement that mirrors how rain feels... freeing, cleansing, and alive.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to finally learn how to express my soul through music that moves me and through dance that connects me to nature. I’ve been able to pick up the foundational techniques and am slowly learning how to weave them together into a flow that feels me.

I’m not naturally a fast learner when it comes to dance, but Ciara’s teaching style has made all the difference. She breaks things down in a way that makes each step feel possible. Her support and encouragement have helped me build both confidence and skill.

With continued practice, I have no doubt I’ll get to that smooth, fluid state I dream of. For anyone curious about shuffle dance, even if you’re a beginner like me. I can’t recommend this class enough. It’s been a beautiful journey of movement, music, and self-expression.

This place is so dope. Run by deep passion and welcomed by inclusivity. Never thought I could ever get into shuffling but this studio helps people break out of those mental limits! If you are interested in dancing and looking for a community, definitely recommend! And they were also pet friendly 🫶

I've been shuffling here as a total beginner once a week for about a month now. Ciara and Lara are talented instructors and dancers who keep the vibes high and break down the foundations into digestible pieces. You can tell they love what they do and the community is full of friendly people. Definitely plan to keep going!

Ciara is a wonderful teacher who knows how to break down the moves into understandable steps. The intro class was just the right pace for a beginner and Ciara was very helpful and encouraging. If you’re feeling nervous to try the intro class - don’t be! It was a blast and can’t wait to come back.

Welcoming, knowledgeable dance instructors who teach/host a variety of classes in a fun vibes setting. I love the range of classes from difficulty level, dance styles, and intention. The class pass deals they offer are a great perk! Shuffle HQ and the instructors (and guests) provide a fun learning atmosphere where you can get out of your comfort zone, meet new people, and move your body. 10/10

What struck me most was the level of professionalism! I’ve been a dancer all my life and I can say with confidence their passion for their art shows. From the history of shuffle, to the warm up, to class and send off, their attention to questions and breakdown of movement was so great. Shuffling is completely outside of my comfort zone, but the ultra-beginners series made it super approachable and, most importantly, fun!
