My sister and I have gone to this gym a lot. It has always been a calming atmosphere with great workers. Everyone who goes there knows that the workers are very welcoming and will help you with whatever you need. The people that go there are also nice and respectful. It has an amazing variety of workout equipment. As well as decorations supporting people and teams in Rio.This is definitely my favorite one in the city.

Been to this gym a couple times, staff is great, machines are well conditioned. And the prices are good. But the problem I have with place is:
The lighting, there’s no decor, lack of latest models of machines/attachments/accessories, cheap dumbbells, music sucks, and extremely lacks modern day aesthetics.
The new look helps, but there’s major avenues to improve. Recommend here

I am very upset. I went on September to let Alondra the manager know that i needed to cancel my gym membership and she made me pay for the month of October and told me to go back on November so I went and she wanted to charge me for the month of December and I have not even gone to the gym sense August. It is a small gym, for a small town. But it’s not bad! I got a week pass (August 2024). It was a bit expensive, $30, but that can be expected for a “temporary” membership. The gym isn’t huge, but it’s not very busy, so the equipment that they do have is usually available. Clean bathroom, floor and equipment.

Long overdue review! Snap Fitness in Rio Grande City is one of the best gyms in the area. It’s clean, well maintained, friendly members, and a manager (Mrs. Alondra) that cares passionately about the club and its members. It’s open 24 hrs, has a shower, 2 private bathroom, towels, and sanitizing wipes. It has everything you need with free weights, machines, and cardio equipment, as well as a dedicated room for stretching, warming up, and self guided fitness classes. This is my home gym away from home when I’m in the Rio Grande City area. Definitely check them out!

I love snap fitness, it is always clean and neat. I also like the fact that there is a little room with a big mirror incase you want to stretch, workout, etc. There's also a shower incase you are in a rush to be somewhere.
The employees are very polite and i don't feel uncomfortable around them. Everytime i go i hope they are there.

Pretty decent 24/7 gym. Has just about everything you would need. Only complaints are that the wifi never worked with my android, and that they were lacking a lot of plates. Some of the dumbbells have seen better days with missing rubber (makes determining the weight of a few of them somewhat difficult).

The gym manager and staff gave the place a thorough cleaning daily. The majority of their actual machines and racks were in great condition. Bathrooms always clean etc. Prob the best gym option in RGC. Manager was very friendly and upfront. Military discounts if you can prove it as well 😁

Great overall environment, I have attended this gym for about 6 years & am very pleased at the moment in regards to cleanliness & behavior in part of manager Lizette Ramirez & Alondra Garza. Out of 13 states attending recreational facilities i am pleased with Snap Fitness in Rio Grande City, El Campo, & Ingleside, Corpus Christi except on the idea for payment fees enforcing in derail on minor accessories used on equipment during certain staffs’ hours.
Professionalism by these two employees is sublime in comparison to mere adequacy through other employees generally. Machinery is always clean, functional, & most people share a general friendly environment. On a deeper issue seen since this facility opened (RGC) through various employees to present day is learning about separation between work & friendships/relationships. This should be enforced at any respectable workplace
