I went to Adult Gymnastics Night & I absolutely LOVED it! I brought a good friend of mine with me as well & she also had a great time! All of the staff is super kind! Special shoutout to Holly & CarrieAnn!! They were so pleasant to talk with, personable, & through going over numbers/expenses with me! Our coaches we worked with were Sam & Kaitlyn they were so attentive, kind, detailed, & great with giving you motivation!
I'm so grateful I found this place & I will be going back!! Thank you for offering classes to adults, as someone who didn't get to fulfill her gymnastics dreams growing up I love I have a second opportunity to as an adult!

As a former gymnast, I feel like I got to go back in time, by taking an adult gymnastics class here! I have been looking around in the area for one for such a long time, and only recently heard about this!
Sam, our instructor, was awesome! She attended to every student, at every section of the gym they wanted to work in, and she was so engaging and encouraging! I am about to turn 40, and this was the best gift I could have given myself, to feel like a gymnast again! I feel strong and capable, and excited to continue to hone my tumbling! Can’t wait to come back here

The young trainers were were very interactive with the athletes. There were other "monitors" there making sure folks weren't getting in the way. Very well ran facility.

Not for gymnasts expecting to get higher than level 5 or 6. I could say more but I won’t

Since going under new management, Sokol Fort Worth has had an incredible rebirth, all new coaching staff, family friendly atmosphere and social events are back in full swing. Sokol is bigger than just gymnastics. Sokol Fort Worth’s 112+ year rich history as the first and only non-profit gymnastics club makes it so much more affordable and feels like family . With its international roots dating back to 1862 makes us realize we are part of something great.

Had my daughter try her first class tonight and let me tell you I’m very disappointed. The manager walked up accusing me of taking pictures and looking at me like I’m lying. Like I get it I am a young mom but I’m not oblivious I saw the sign and wasn’t taking any pictures I would have loved to but I respect rules. Also 2 instructors for a group of that many 4-5 year olds is a bit ridiculous. The one who was actually paying attention and teaching the kids was great and very informative but the other seemed like she didn’t care. Definitely won’t be signing my daughter up because that was a ridiculous 45 minutes.

I feel like they’re rude and discriminating. I’ve been going for about a month and a half , they always have something to tell me calling me when I leave because I was on the floor which I wasn’t on. I was paying close attention making sure the coach was giving my daughter the same amount of care as the other kids. They dismiss me when I have questions but have another lady come and all talkative with her. Looking for a new gym for my daughter.

I started out at Sokol when I was 8 years old and a level 5 gymnast. While there were many coach changes when I was younger which could've set me back a little, now sokol has experienced coaches that were able to successfully get me to my goal of being a level 10 gymnast by my junior year of high school. I am now an incoming senior in high school and plan on doing another year of level 10 to try and get on a college gymnastics team. The coaches here are caring and as determined as you to get the gymnast better. I also have been given the chance to coach level 1 team cocoaching at sokol on Saturdays, I've learned so much from the coaches around me and have even attended the GAT coaching conference to learn more about correct coaching and safety. I now very much so consider myself trained, and love the girls I coach every Saturday. We even had our first competition last month for my girls and won the meet as a team and had many top 3 placements!

I had both my girls doing gymnastics at sokol I just took them out. Staff at sokol are very unprofessional and very inconsiderate, no matter how much parents complain about the coach Pauline who runs the gym didnt do anything about it, she always blamed the girls, if 5 or more gymnast are complaining about the coach than something should be done about it but at sokol they looked the other way the coach put the girls down, when they cant do some of their routines she puts them on timeouts. Sometimes They dont even have a coach to coach them at all. I put alot of time and effort and money, for my girls to learn and to get better, at sokol they got worse and worse there were no coaching, sometimes other students were coaching our kids i pay for a real coach not other kids to teach my kids. The coach and owner of the gym are very degrading and very unprofessional, I will never recommend this place to anyone all.

My kids LOVE this place!! The coaches care about the kids and allow
them to progress at their own pace. Class sizes are small. Tuition is reasonable. This non-profit organization is doing an incredible service for our community by offering Olympic level coaching - while they barely break even. The gym is old, but, hey - its a gym!! FIVE STARS for caring, competent coaches and an overall positive environment.

Need to fix the place up a bit. Not the best gymnastics place my kid has been too. She seems to love it so who am I to stop her from going. Until she says she hates it I'll keep taking her. Yes it's costly to start them. It's only half a mile from my house sure beats driving across Tarrant County to find a gymnastics center. 4 stars for location & my kid enjoys it

Communication is non existent. Coaches would rather play on phone than give attention to gymnast. Equipment looks like it was acquired from a third hand dumpster. More ducktape than anything.

After attending 3 competitions for level 1 gymnasts, representing Sokol has been a big embarrassment. We have realized how under trained and ill prepared our girls are.
Currently sitting at a competition watching 6 and 7 year olds lead themselves in a warm up. This is mind blowing. Our girls, ranging from anywhere from 8 - 12 have no leader. We look completely unorganized. As the other teams warmed up on the mat, switching their warm up movenent after every round our girls just kept running in a circle about 3 times before they decided to change the movement. The coaches are too busy with the paperwork they had no clue what our girls were doing.
Like every one else has said. This is a money hungry organization. They don't care about the development of their gymnasts.
Communication is the worst. We had to look up other local organizations to find the competition schedule online. If you don't go in and snap a picture of the handwritten note with competition details, you're pretty much screwed. If you call and ask for details, the owner Pauline, freaks out and will take your phone number so she can text you an image of the competition notes.
Thanks for that.
I don't understand why Sokol enters older aged gymnasts into level 1 competitions when the competition is roughly between 5 and 9. Check out the video I posted. This is level 1A with Sokol girls on the left (the tallest girls in the room) competing with the littles. Granted this is the first time I've seen Sokol have littles competing as well.
Ultimately, what this says to me is- everyone who enters gymnastics no matter what age will start at the very basic level. Twelve year old will compete with 5 year olds. This doesn't seem right to me. I can only conclude that is a another way for the gym to make more money. The more classes you take to advance, the more money for the gym.
