Took my first class at [solidcore] with Courtney and it was a great experience. The workout definitely focuses on core strength and it is not easy, especially if it’s your first time or if you’re coming back after a break like I was. Courtney did a great job of checking in with me during the exercises, adjusting my form, and making sure I understood what I was doing, which helped me feel comfortable and reduced the chances of getting hurt. Challenging, deliberate, and very effective. Highly recommend the class, and Courtney was an excellent instructor.

Inconsistent, some trainers are great, some aren’t. What really consistent is the horrible service
Also AC is not working

I usually come once or twice a week to this location because it’s the only location close to where I stay. I book through Classpass. The website says 5 min grace period once class begins for a person to join. Class began at 415 and I got there exactly at 420, and she wouldn’t let me in STILL. I had already paid for parking. So now I have to fight ClassPass to get my credit back and dispute the money I paid for parking. Mind you - there is no late policy shown on classpass for this location. This is the SECOND Time that’s happened. I am so annoyed.

Here is the family. Matthew is lifesaver who helped me Jump-start my car when I was heading out after my workout. The lady in the front was also very helpful- she even Googled some information for me. I feel bad that Matthew might be late for his next job because of helping me. I love his class and drove 14 miles to attend it. His demonstrations and explanations are very clear and in good pace, I highly recommend his class!

I was anticipating my class, but I was disappointed with the receptionist. She refused to allow me into the class ten minutes after my scheduled time, refused to reschedule me for a later class, and even denied me a refund despite my presence. Parking is a hassle and you have to walk from the garage.

Solidcore is one of the most effective workouts out there, and Coach Y.H. makes it even better. Her Focus 30 and Advanced 50 classes are next-level—intense, motivating, and full of smart cues and adjustments. She really knows how to push you while still watching your form.

The advanced classes are no joke—prepare to be humbled in the best way. The intro and signature classes are solid for building the foundation, but the real gains come when you level up.

Bonus: free 2-hour parking in the garage makes getting in and out easy, which is rare for boutique fitness. Highly recommend.

I’ve already submitted a ticket that has yet to be reviewed . I am pregnant and per doctors orders in October 2024 I am not to do Pilates . Please stop trying to bill me and address the ticket to cancel my subscription . I will not even return after the baby due to poor and slow customer . The fact that I’m getting billed for service I cannot and have not used due to a medical restriction is crazy .

Update: Removing a star because Elise has a smart mouth/attitude on the phone. Very snarky, sarcastic, and generally unhelpful.

I love it here! I’m a beginner at working out completely and Kaila’s Starter 50 class was so good that I moved around my entire workout plan just to attend it every week. This was my second Solidcore class and after the first one, I had told myself that I was not on the level I needed to be to continue taking Solidcore classes just yet, but I was at home one night and just decided to take another class spontaneously and I’m very glad that I did. It was a really hard workout but she explained literally everything and even changed our springs for us on heavier exercises, likely so we wouldn’t be discouraged by the weight. She’s amazing and the best instructor of any kind that I’ve experienced at a Solidcore, club Pilates, or any other fitness class that I take. She made the exercise so accessible but still challenging. Kaila deserves the world! I just wish she taught on Wednesdays! She’s the best! Kalyn and Shefali are rockstars as well, you can’t go wrong!

Love, love love solidcore and this location! The staff here are the best and so helpful!

Only thing that annoys me is that I feel like committed unlimited members (who already pay upwards of $250 a month) shouldn't be hit with an additional late fee for canceling within 10 hours, idk. I get it’s a corporate policy and nothing to do with this studio but whew! my bank account is screamin!!!

Anyway, love this location lol

I participated in a coach-in-training class with Annie! She was awesome, stellar, so informative, and very helpful guiding me. As someone who just getting started on her fitness journey, Annie made me feel so comfortable! The class itself was very fulfilling and fun. Additionally, I was greeted into the establishment by Maddie, who is another coach-in-training. She also made me feel so comfortable in the space and was awesome! Both of the ladies did great. Thank you guys!

I had a booking this am that started at 5:15 through class pass. I arrived at 5:16, paid for parking, and the door was locked. I downloaded the app, the code was no where to be found. I never received any communication about a door code.

I’ve been going to solidcore for almost 4 months now and I love it. The instructors are all extremely nice and knowledgeable. My favorite thing is how easy the app is to use and the classes ranging from 5am-9pm. It works well with my schedule. My favorite instructors so far have to be Jade and Courtney!

I’m new to Solidcore and everyone has been wonderful so far! The front desk staff and coaches are all motivating, positive, and kind. I feel challenged every class. Added bonus: they offer some good discounts for memberships and healthcare workers.

Honestly coming in I felt excited to try my third class - I’ve already done 2 intro classes and felt like I got the hang of it. Well this instructor threw so much shade at the new people insisting they try a “full body” class because the “buns + guns” was an ADVANCED CLASS. Again, she says “there’s a lot of new people here…” which made me feel discouraged because isn’t the reason to try a new class is to learn? My friend who said she already did a “full body” class was exactly the same as buns + guns… if that’s the case… should I just not book any classes and just stick to intro classes? The instructor just was not the vibe I WANTED but maybe for others it’s for them. I guess she caught herself at the end because she said “but hey if you like it… keep coming…” as if she didn’t care if no one showed up again.

Love solidcore; I’ve gone to about 20 classes and I always get a great workout and I’ve very rarely had an instructor who didn’t explain the moves well. The late-arrival policy doesn’t seem any different from many other workout studios including Orangetheory. Environment feels welcoming and inclusive. Rice Village has pretty good parking availability.

I love this location of Solidcore! The core crew is very competent and makes sure all of the clients are safe and are set up for success. The customer service is stellar.

They are always hosting fun events in between classes that highlight other businesses in the area, how fun!

The workout is also not for the weak! If done the advisement of coaches, you'll muscles you didn't know exist.

I was looking forward to my class as I love megaformer Pilates but I was highly disappointed with this studio and staff. They came up with all the excuses in the world why they wouldn’t let me into a class 5 mins after and charged me a fee for the class even though I was there. The worse solidcore studio ever with very rude and terrible customer service. Had another instructor at the front desk who together with the receptionist was very condescending. They automatically assumed by looking at me I had never taken a reformer Pilates class before and I was a beginner who needed extra attention so they wouldn’t let me in the class. Have no empathy and regard for customers and pick and choose who to extend grace to.

I had a class today. It was my first time doing Pilates. The instructor did not take the time to help me. I really struggled through the class and felt like I was always in the wrong form. Parking is a challenge and you have to walk from the garage. The studio aesthetic was clean but I don’t know how well they maintain it. We had to clean our own reformer machines before the next group came directly in. Overall, I felt like the instructors were just in such a rush. Definitely overrated for the price point

So. I arrived to my appointment early and to my surprise there is no parking. Now of course I can’t leave me car. I let them know it’s nowhere to park are there any other class or parking options they were no help and very dismissive. On top of that they charged me a missed class fee, never again I will stick with Club Pilates or Duo Pilates!

Overall a good location to do Pilates. Liz Courtney and Taylor are the best I would advise going to a class with them as an instructor. This review would have my full 5 stars but unfortunately not. Solid Core gave me 8 no show/cancellation fees worth $35 EACH. I came in for my 6:15 and was told I couldn’t come into class by one of the front desk staff if I didn’t pay $280 in no show fees. Which is ridiculous when I’ve only had 3 no shows. I was never offered my first no show to be waived either since I’m relatively new. No show fees should not be used as “punishment” to not be able to attend class. Solid Core please do better.
