We had my daughter’s 2nd birthday party here and we had the BEST time! The party helpers were so sweet and great with a huge group of toddlers (we had around 30 kids) and they even helped me set up. My daughter and her friends had so much fun and we loved that they set up different games and events for all ages. The party room is perfect and easy for a big group. I did the add on for the cake and it was so good and beautiful! Highly recommend and we will do another birthday party here in the future!

We had two daughters that did competitive gymnastics for several years. Our youngest did gymnastics for a decade. She finished out her very successful career with Jeremy and Erine Viet at Southern Gym Club. Throughout her career circumstances took us all over the city of San Antonio to train. Our girls had several different coaches through the years. The youngest now in college, recently attended the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional. We had a great conversation about her career. A few things came up and I think Southern Gym Club, and the South Texas gymnastics world should hear it. Our daughter has been coached by some very gifted coaches through the years. A couple pretty brutal ones as well. This post is about a couple that she puts right at the top of her list. She said, “I had some great beam coaches, but without question Coach Erine (Viet) was the BEST! She was also the best hype man (motivator) I ever had.” She also talked about her love for Coach Jeremy Viet. He helped her learn how to trust male coaches again after another gym/coach shattered her trust. She wanted nothing more than to make them proud. She still carries so much love and respect for the program they built. For these reasons and so many more, they get 5 stars only because we can’t give more.

This gymnastics team truly feels like a family. Erine and Jeremy genuinely care about the kids, not just in gymnastics but also in their academic success and personal growth. One of the standout aspects of this program is that athletes are continually challenged and prepared for the next level, rather than being held back. This approach keeps my gymnast eager and excited to attend practice every day.

Another thing I love is how the older gymnasts, especially the Level 10s, step in to support and encourage the younger athletes. I once saw my daughter struggling on beam, and a Level 10 gymnast took the time to talk to her and help her push through. That kind of mentorship and team spirit makes this gym a truly special place for any young athlete to grow.

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown by Southern Gymnastics recently. While the coaches are fantastic and my daughters enjoyed their time there, the management's rigid adherence to policies, even in the face of significant family circumstances, left a sour taste.

We were denied a refund for a camp due to unforeseen childcare complications that arose while navigating the birth of our new baby. This, despite being long-standing members with both daughters enrolled in various programs. Their emphasis on "family" values rings hollow when they prioritize profit over customer well-being.
It's a shame that a business that champions "courage" and "strength" couldn't extend a little understanding and flexibility to a loyal family during a challenging time.

Proceed with caution if considering Southern Gymnastics. While the gymnastics instruction is good, their customer service leaves much to be desired.

My daughters recently had their birthday party at Southern Gymnastics Club. They had a blast! We particularly enjoyed the individualized attention and the energy of the coach. He set up an obstacle course for the kids and engaged them in some structured activities to get them familiar with the equipment. I also loved the option of adding the bouncy house and that we were allowed to bring our own food! Overall a great experience and highly recommend!!!

I recently visited the Southern Gymnastics Club and had a great experience! The coaches were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, creating a positive and motivating environment. The facilities were well-maintained and equipped with top-of-the-line gymnastics apparatus. I particularly enjoyed the personalized attention I received during my sessions, allowing me to make significant progress in my gymnastics skills. I would definitely suggest Southern Gymnastics Club to anyone looking to improve their gymnastics abilities.

This was my daughters first year and she loves it. She has progressed really fast for it being her first year and she’s always excited to come to her Star Squad class with Coach Caleb. She also really likes her Coach because he is fun but helps them learn at the same time. Coach Caleb is very knowledgeable and he knows how to communicate with the young girls and the girls are easily able to understand him. He has great coaching and communication skills and a friendly professional personality, it’s a great balance for this gymnastic program. Natalie and Erine have also been very helpful in informing us how the gymnastics world works, since this is our first time in this sport. Coach Caleb also gives feedback after practice about your child which we like. The recreational classes are also fun too but my daughter prefers the upper level classes because the children in these classes are more focused and she prefers to learn and grow more. Can’t say enough, it’s been a great experience thus far!

I would give 5 stars but you aren't geared to work with kids like mine. Luckily for her she has been with Kinetic Kids for quite some time. I was just hoping to get her with your prog where she could get some extra time. But we'll stay where we're wanted with Kinetic Kids. But thanks for allowing us to use your venue with K.K. 😞

My daughter has been going to Aerial for 8 years now and it has been an incredible experience for our whole family. We consider the coaches and owners at Aerial our extended family. My daughter tried several local gyms before a friend mentioned Aerial to us and I was so impressed with not only the coaching but the way the business side is run. It is very hard to find a gym where they have both of these down like Aerial. You usually have one or the other not both. Aerial is top notch in the gymnastics world and the coaches are very professional and honest with the parents. I would highly recommend to any parent whose child is interested in gymnastics no matter what experience they have. Aerial has a wide range of classes from beginner, Excel Levels up to level 10 Compulsory.

I'm very pleased with this gym. I called around and checked out a lot of places. I've been bringing my kids here for 2 months now and I can't recommend highly enough. Scheduling is great and management handles things exceptionally well. The coaches are awesome. My kids love coming here and seem to be progressing rapidly. I'll continue bringing them.

My daughter tried the gymnastics class a few months ago. She was 3 at the time. I was nervous but I was hopeful. However, when the class started, I noticed that my daughter was not where she was supposed to be. She was just wondering around. Of course, she was 3 and very curious about what all she is going on. The instructor didn't even try to redirect my daughter. Finally, she got my daughter and brought her to me in front of everyone stating this isn't going to work. I was devastated. I wouldnt recommend this gym to anyone that has a little girl especially if its their first time.

Held a party here and it was great! The staff was awesome and kept the party moving. The only criticism I have is the MOSQUITOS!! We had to go to the store to buy repellent and we still were eaten alive, at 11am on a sunny day, indoors...

I take my sons to open play hour for tots. They love it. They run around on the equipment for an hour. They play kid friendly music and keep the facility very clean.

I am very unsatissfied my daughter has come every Wednesday to take classes for two years and has not learned anything, try to talk many times with the coaches but it seems they do not care. I see that all the coaches are very young and there is nothing wrong but they need a lot of practice. I see that they concentrate only on children who dominate or have more skills which is what worries me. Talk directly to the manager and he did not care. There is a lot of professional ethics left in this place. I really do not recommend this place and Leave very unsatisfied....

I have had my granddaughter here for over 2 years and I have never had or heard anyone yell at the kids. all of the coaches are very nice and some are harder on the kids than others but not mean, ever. maybe if you are coming for fun, you should do tot time and not a class. this is an excellent gym with excellent coaches and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to do gymnastics.

Very disappointed. My 3 year old started his class and the coach was mean! Yelled at all the kids and yelled at him for being scared of the bars. I tried to talk to her but it only made her worse. They stated the class would have two teachers and would have the gym to themselves, but neither were true. Each class was different some had 2 teachers and some only one and the kids were yelled at more than taught.... For it being a 3-4 year old class, it was not fun for my son because of the coach.
