The Southwest ISD Aquatic Center is an athletic training facility for swimming, diving, and water polo. This facility hosts club and high school competitions. In addition, the SWISD Aquatic Center also offers a water safety/learn-to-swim program to elementary aged students enrolled within Southwest ISD.

We got a pool on the Southwest SIDE! Finally!! Im super excited. The aquatic center is beautiful. There are two pools. One is small. It's 4.6 feet deep and on the other side is 3 feet. Perfect for beginners. They also provide an orange life vest for the tadpoles (kids). The other pool is big. Also, it has a divider in the middle to divide it. It's 7 feet deep. There you can swim laps. The water is cold in that pool. For good reason too. The pool has two diving boards @ the deepend of the pool. I have used it yet. The facility has locker rooms to use. Mens ans women's is available. Anyways, check it out when you get a chance. It'll be fun.

2025 Summer swim camps and lessons 🙃 for the win. My son has loved coming to his summer swims that now he wants to get further involved in the swim team.
We are so grateful to have this opportunity and always love participating in the open public events they have seasonal and year around. The employees at this establishment are so knowledgeable, helpful, and eager to share any new opportunities they may have. Thank you 🙏 for all you do for our community. We really appreciate it.

Hours of operation are incorrect drove 20 min for the kids to be disappointed cause they were closed on a Thursday at 2 pm

The kids loved it, it's a beautiful pool well kept up and very clean. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the pool. The restrooms and showers were also clean. Parking lot also clean

This place is awesome! Gorgeous new, clean! Well maintained. Last year they were not open to the public, not even laps and it was disorganized. This year they are much better!! They have open laps and different options during summer, I swe they have little escuelitas, they must be busy but also have swimming lessons. Plenty of parking, free, life guards were super friendly and cordial to me, they were talking to me all the different options they have. I will give it a try!!

Good help is hard to find. The lifeguard staff are kids + given a little responsibility = big problem. The staff really need additional customer service training.
I guess you can say it is free, and so you get what you pay for (except I pay the school taxes); but the lifeguard staff need a lot more ADULT supervision.
The center is nice, because it is new; but gosh the lifeguard staff attitude has got to go. That staff is really going to ruin the program for everyone and ultimately get it shut down.

The lesson at the desk was absolute rude and was arguing with me when I asked her why they don’t have lap lanes open for the tax payers. In my opinion she should not be working in customer service ever.
