My son has been attending classes since he was in Kindergarten and is now in 4th grade. We love the way the Kung Fu has taught him how to improve his strength, focus and energy. The instructors have had such a fabulous impact and they truly are professional and caring. We had Sun Qi Fitness come to my son's 10th birthday party and it was a huge success. Everyone had a blast!

I have been practicing Kung Fu with Sun Qi Fitness for about six months now. It has been a very positive experience for me physically and mentally. What I think is unique about the instructors at Sun Qi is they take the time to observe and get to know their students, and then work with each student in the way that is best for that person’s personality and physical capabilities. Each person starts where they are and progresses from there. The class has a wonderful energy and is a very supportive group. The instruction is detailed and easy to understand. We work not only on physical strength and coordination, but also mental strength and coordination; a very important contribution to one’s overall well being. I firmly believe Sun Qi Fitness has something to offer any practitioner at any level, from a beginner to someone more advanced. The instructors at Sun Qi take the commitment of being one who teaches seriously. It is a dynamic and engaging program and we have a lot of fun!

I decided to begin Tai Chi because my balance is bad and I had fallen several times. It took a lot of courage to start because of my age and being out of shape. From the first day I have really enjoyed the class and Min Min. She put me on the front row so she could help me more, she encourages me and gradually corrects my mistakes. After 3 months I'm not great, but I see improvement every day that I go. In fact I don't miss a class unless it's an emergency, like keeping sick grandchildren.

I have been attending Sun Qi Fitness classes for over two years. My initial reason for attending was to improve my balance since I am an elderly person. My balance has greatly improved since starting and was well worth the time and expense for that improvement. I also found that the total program benefited my body overall in addition to my balance improvement.

I have been taking Qi-Gong Kung Fu lessons from Instructor Johnny Valenti for more than five years. The class is well structured without being too rigid, and Instructor Valenti provides clear, detailed instruction in the various techniques of Qi-Gong energy and stamina building exercises, Kung Fu forms, and self defense moves. There is a strong feeling of camaraderie amongst the students and with the instructor. Instructor Valenti interjects the lessons with humorous and witty asides that make the class fun and lighthearted. This is a great style of martial art for increasing or maintaining fitness, flexibility, stamina, mental focus, and improving the body's immune system and energy levels. I am much healthier than I was previously since I started taking this class on a weekly basis. I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to improve their physical and mental well being.
