I'm still trying to rate this place honestly. I haven't used all of the amenities they have to offer. The only thing I have used is the pool for some therapy exercises before I begin to get more serious.

The pool area is a let down. It looks abandoned. The very first time I went there, the trash cans outside were full. After a week of visits, the same trash was still there and no place to put new trash. There seems to be no one assigned to make sure things are in order. The same papers and trash was spread through out the area.

The pool has constant feathers from the birds that are above the pool area. The air conditioning compressors are located almost above the pool and they are very loud. A relaxing time at the pool is not possible. The hot tub has never been hot. Same temp at the pool. The area needs a lot of attention and cleanup. One of the floor drains was broken and someone can get really hurt if they fell in there. A lawsuit waiting to happen. The pool is missing tiles through out the bottom. Grass is growing on the cement next to the pool. It's quite a bit. All of the chairs need to be fixed or replaced. Outdoor couch has been a mess for weeks. No one can use it. Pool hose reel has been in the middle of the walk area and never used or moved. The pool has lights but do not work and can not find the switches. Staff has no clue. The bathrooms around the pool area need a lot of work. Lights are either burned out or extremely dim. Shower handle is broken. No place to sit to change. It was somewhat clean but not many people use it. Past two times the only toilet was stuffed full of paper and poop. Disgusting. Smells. No attention.

The rest of the gym seems ok but I didn't pay much attention to it because I need the pool therapy.

Whoever manages that gym needs to be reevaluated. Maybe some training. Maybe check lists and assign duties to different people. It was very difficult to figure out who works there. Unless you always go there and see them all the time, you would never know who is there.

Overall I'm not very happy and confident there. I will give them more time to work on improvements and give them a chance. I understand if they are having staffing issues, all businesses do. They just need more attention and some TLC. They need a focused leadership.

This place charges $65 a month when their restroom has been clogged and piss infested for 3 days going on already. Due to probably not re stocking a business essential toilet paper people are starting to protest by rubbing their feces on the walls.. once my membership is up I am outtie. Pool is pretty good tho 1.2/10

The music is way too loud. Been to a lot of gyms over the decades, but this is ridiculous. It's so obnoxiously loud, find another gym. Save yourself a headache. Find another gym.
The easy fix is too half the volume of the music.

I really enjoy coming to this gym… but I’ve been pretty disappointed recently. They had just closed for about a week to install floors ??? Um cool how about fix the treadmills and other machines. It’s a bit annoying having to hear the machines make weird metal noises. instead of wasting money on floors please fix the machines.

As a gym this is a 5 star facility however the staff is a bunch of unprofessional kids very rude and managers are impossible to get a hold of. I called 3 days straight and went in person twice and still couldn't reach anyone. I called a last time and I heard the person literally speaking with the manager while I was on the phone the person told her "I'll just tell him you're not here" I ended up just canceling my membership the next morning. A bunch of rude high school kids working in the front are going to ruin the member experience.

This use to be my go to gym when visiting for the holidays. This past visit I noticed broken machines, broken treadmills, dirty equipment, no music in the women section, and teenagers horsing around. Unfortunately, I will be looking for another gym when visiting.

most of the equipment doesn't work or is damaged.
around half of the treadmills either shake, make a sound, or are off. most of the strength training machines have the weight selector peg missing and people are taking from others, some have the seat cushions torn. the "influencers" are always hogging the equipment or talking with their buddies while sitting in them, and some are not beginning to bring full on tripods to record themselves. its not worth the $60 a month with a contract that a niusance to terminate, for only 50% euquipment working and most of that half in use. unless you're a buddy of first responder, they could care less about your opinions, go elsewhere!

The gym is filthy. There is dust and hair all over the floors and equipment. I found a broken acrylic nail on the floor in the women’s center and it stayed there for months. Also, the treadmills are in need of maintenance and they are also filthy. This place needs better management.

The place itself is great, lots of space and friendly staff. More than enough equipment. But it is DIRTY. There is dust caked everywhere that you can tell has been accumulating for YEARS. Papers everywhere, fallen fake nails all over the place, hundreds of hair strands on the stairs. The upkeep is definitely not a priority.

I love this gym! I live out of town and I come work out here everytime I come visit my sister. The equipment here is the best I’ve ever seen! I love the music they play & the women’s only room is sooo spacious and has almost all the equipment that’s downstairs. The hip thrust machine they have in there is amazing. The set up is according to your height so it targets your glutes perfectly. I wish they had a gym like this in San Antonio, I would sign up immediately.

I like this gym. They have enough equipment to use. Although the only complaint I have is it is very messy especially the women’s area. There is always trash on the floor and empty cans. The women there do not know how to re-rack there equipment that it’s scattered all over the floor. This is every day too. The restrooms are also disgusting. Sometimes no toilet paper or paper towels. Again trash and stains on the floor. They just need to get there messiness under control.

Used to be great about a year ago, now its garbage. Paper towel holders are always empty, spray bottles are always empty, blood in the trash cans, floor coming apart. When I tried to cancel my membership it took me going there 3 times and hearing from the manager myself every time "Yes we will cancel your membership"; AND THEY STILL DIDN"T CANCEL IT AND I GOT CHARGED!! I went back again and they finally cancelled it and said I should expect a refund in the next 3-5 days. No refund, even after calling multiple times about it the refund never came, $70 robbed from me. DO NOT GO HERE if you are looking for a permanent gym, I recommend just coming here for a day at the most if your other gym is closed.

The manager Carlos yells at women and i believe he is dangerous bc of my experience in this gym. He will talk bad about members to the other employees face to face and he sets up group chats to talk bad about members as well to the employees. An employee has admitted he has bipolar issues that he takes out on the employees as well. Unfortunately this ruins Gym Legacy’s image. I will never return because I don’t feel safe there anymore. I’ll make sure to let people I know that there are better gyms with professional people working to help their members instead of scaring them away.

They say it's month to month and they end up charging your card, believe they don't tell you all the facts when registering and tells you sign. I got the membership from this club because they told me that I had no commitment and I could cancel anytime with no fee. I think the gym is overprice, the equipment is not as good as the comments say and they are giving me a hard time to cancel just because I don’t like the place, and I don’t want to pay for a service that I don’t want any more. I have never had a gym membership but have looked into getting one for a while since I had always worked out at my school's gym or at home. I went into several gyms to check them out and decided on this one because of the staff, cleanliness, space, and variety of equipment and other things they offer such as a pool, tanning room, shakes, etc. This gym is on the more expensive side, but I really believe it is worth it being open 24/7 and all of the things they offer. I have been going to this gym for 3 months now and still absolutely love it. The only complaint I have is that they do not let a guest come in with you.

Large and spacious. Had all of the equipment I needed to fulfill my workout. Definitely a hip and modern looking facility to workout in. Sufficient with the weights.
Cons- it was just not as clean as I hoped. The dressing room was mess with overflow of trash in the garbage. Towels left on the benches. Never saw anyone around for cleaning maintenance. I used a mat and upon spraying it and wiping it with a paper towel, the towel turned brown from the accumulated dirt on the Mat! Not at all what I want to lay on. I might as well lay on the floor.

I wanted to love this gym. I hope the management works on hygiene issues so this gym can rock!

They have a women's section, which I thought was weird, but I guess it's nice to have a space that is less crowded. Unfortunately, the dumbbells were totally disorganized in the women's section and they don't carry 2.5 lb increments past 20 lbs. Similarly the barbell rack is only in increments of 10 lbs. Also, there's no regular bench press in the women's room, just a Smith machine.

Downstairs I found it difficult to find 5 lb increments for the bench press. There wasnt a convenient space to do pushups or crunches downstairs.

There are no towels offered in the locker rooms so people were just walking into the saunas with all their clothes on and not having taken a shower first. The shower still had construction debris in it. Not sure how long this place has been open.

There was also an upside down sign on the east side of the building's sidewalks that was obstructing the sidewalks and part of the parking spaces.

Overall a beautiful gym with lots of amenities. Just needs a few finishing touches and it would be perfect.

I was looking for a state of the art Gym in Laredo to use on my monthly trips down from San Antonio. Gym Legacy has state of the art equipment, a wonderful atmosphere, and I did not even need to lug my big phone or my ear buds around because the sound and balance of music was absolutely awesome! Last but not least ask about the "Inbody" Body Analyzer machine as it is state of the art and tells you exactly where and how much body fat and water you have!
