My daughter started going to this location recently and thanks to Coach Carlie & Mari, she really enjoyed her experience!

If I could rate the instructors separately from the gym itself I would. The coaches did a great job assisting my 3yr old who quickly picked up and displayed the techniques shown to her by these two! They get 5 stars off initial engagement.

I showed up at 5:00 and stayed until 7:15
(My class was 5:30 then we played during open gym).

Since I was there so long I was able to observe for a while, I give this location 3 stars because I didn’t see them wipe any of the equipment down throughout the duration of my visit. Also everything looks extremely warn out, which makes it less appealing.

There needs to be a reinvestment done back into the facility, Little Gym is highly reputable and this location does not represent it based on maintenance.

If I could do zero stars I would. This place is an embarrassment. We tried the Pearland location for the first time, and it is by far the worst one we’ve ever been to. The gym is filthy, the equipment is old and dirty, and it’s obvious no one takes pride in maintaining the space.

We showed up on time for the 10 AM class and still had to wait for the “coach,” who could barely be bothered to acknowledge us. She spent a couple of minutes pretending to engage, then told us to wander around on our own. For the next 30 minutes, she hid in the back and stayed glued to her phone instead of doing her job. It wasn’t until I asked if she planned on teaching my 19-month-old anything that she finally got up—only to show a few useless, bare-minimum moves that I could’ve taught myself for free at a park.

This was a complete waste of time, money, and energy. You’d get more value watching a 5-minute YouTube video than attending a class here. Management needs to seriously address the coach’s laziness and her nonstop phone use. Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this location at all costs.

ALSO: no cleaning between class. We finished and a new class started within 5 minutes and the kids were led into the gym area. Not a wipe down was done.

Attention Manager/Owner

The staff is poorly trained, which puts children at high risk of injury. I reported that my child fell, and the manager dismissed it as “not a big deal.” The coach actually dropped my son , left him hanging by one arm ( his shoulder could have been dislocated) and showed no concern or accountability. There was no apology from management only indifference. It is clear they care more about taking your money than protecting children. If you’re going to take your kids here don’t hand your baby to the “coach” do the skill yourself with your child.

The environment itself is also unacceptable. The facility is filthy and poorly maintained. the equipment tape is always falling/hanging off, I have had to fix it multiple times, mats and floors are dirty, and the restrooms are disgusting. There was a giant spider on the floor once where babies were crawling and I had to tell staff to take care of it!! AC has been out multiple times , leaving everyone sweating while two small fans are blowing hot air off the ground. For the prices they charge, you would expect a safe, clean, and well-maintained space, but that is not the case here.

The staff gives the impression that they do not care about parents’ concerns or children’s well being. It appears anyone is hired with little to no qualifications, and yet parents are expected to trust them with their children’s safety.

For the safety of your children, do not bring them here. This place is unsafe, unprofessional, and unclean.

This place is not safe. My son fell off the pull up bar because the instructor who should have been holding him did nothing. Later I spoke with someone who introduced herself as Kelly. She said she was the main instructor that day. She also said she did not realize he fell. That tells me no one was watching.

I asked what training their staff gets. The answer was a background check and “some sort of childcare experience.” No real standards. Nothing that teaches you to hold a child before they fall.

No accountability. This time it was a fall. Next time it could be worse. I’m not bringing my kid back.

I called to cancel in November received a form and filled it out we were then charged again in December. I called again received a new form as they stated they never received the previous one filled that out and was charged again for January. When I called to see why we keep getting charged every month when I have tried to cancel multiple times and my daughter has not attend med class I was told it’s their policy to bill for the next month. Very disappointing experience. It should not be this difficult to cancel the membership

My daughter went here for over a year but eventually, this place just wasn’t challenging enough. This is great for beginners & toddlers, but if you desire for your child to really learn and cultivate skill beyond a beginner’s level, I’d say look elsewhere.

I don’t go often, but a few times told summer camp was available but when I show up it’s canceled or I received the wrong information. Very disappointing.

Also leaky roof.

No guidance. Staff on their phone when the kids are in the gym.

Highly recommended Little Gym Bellaire. A lot more organize for camps. Kids get wristbands, parents get numbers for pick up, etc.

Do not waste your money here! I wish I can give them zero stars. These people are literally scammers. They make money out of charging people after you fully terminate your membership. Every single person in that gym top to bottom lies. They charged me so many times without my knowledge months after I canceled the membership and when I asked my money back the so called director literally lied to me saying I didn’t contact them for cancellation even if I had her listen to the saved VM that was left on my phone by herself. I don’t know how the owner sleeps at night knowing her and her staffs stealing people’s hard earned money.

It’s a Scam! They say we have to give 30 day notice period for cancellation. Even if we are late by 1 day they charge for 30 days again. Our billing cycle is on 30th of a month. We cancelled on May 4th but we were charged for June saying we didn’t cancel on April 30th. Also, because our 30 day notice ends on June 4th we cant use any makeup classes after that. So basically we paid $100 in June for nothing. It’s a big SCAM!!

My daughter and I love the Little Gym of Pearland. We have been attending for the past 2 years. The teachers engage well with the kids and find fun ways to make them do the routines. Going there routinely has been helping my daughter greatly with her condition.

This little place has so much potential! Husband and i have been on a hunt to enroll our 21mth old in a gym with instructed classes. We stopped in last week to try a class. The young ladies at desy were super sweet! The gym is ok seems like the equipment is a little old and needed to be replaced but overall my daughter had fun on the equipment.Once class started the songs the activity seemed extremely rushed. My husband and had a hard time following so if it was difficult for us ist was definitely difficult for my toddler. The instructor was a nice young lady but couldnt keep the attention on the 3 children in class. The class was 45min long and it seemed a bit confusing due to the fast pace. I know from other gyms that we are members of as well as attened that these classes should definitely not be rushed and i feel the instructor should build relationships with their students or even try to be a little patient with them!Overall the experience was a bit disappointing

LONG REVIEW BUT MIGHT BE WORTH READING. 1 star only because my kid did have a lot of fun and the staff is over all nice but other than that I would have given 0 stars if it was possible. This place isn’t worth the price at all I’d say take your kid somewhere else for an additional $20-$40 so you’d atleast get your moneys worth. All they do is run around and play which is cool because like I said my kid did have fun BUT my kid can also do the same thing for free lol. My major problem with this place is that the management obviously tries to steal your money as well as has there workers lie for them. You do have to cancel in order for them to stop charging you which is completely fine with me because I was told this in the beginning. I indeed cancelled in November to not be returning or charged in December yet they still charged me. I called immediately once I noticed on a Friday and was told that the manager wasn’t in on Fridays and that the next closest date that I could speak with her was that following Monday. The manager finally calls after 2pm on Monday AFTER I began trying to call her since I was expecting an earlier call. She tried telling me that she isn’t in on Saturdays which is why I had to wait until Monday to speak to her (all while I’m explaining that I called on Friday and she’s literally trying to tell me no I didn’t) which lead me to believe that she had her team lie for her simply because she was wanting to avoid talking to me about the situation. I go on to explain that when I brung my son in one Friday that I cancelled with a team member IN PERSON and that the team member told me that I was good to go. I know exactly who I spoke with and exactly what I told her which is that November would be our last month and that I want to cancel. The manager asked me to describe what the team member looked like which I did then right after she proceeded to offer me Christmas camp for my kid. She never once apologized for the inconvenience or said that she’ll look into it. Had I not canceled I would not be requesting a refund but this is genuinely not my fault and I’m not standing for a company just blatantly trying to keep (STEAL) people money when I did what I was supposed to do as well as I’m not using their services. I personally don’t care if it was $15. I ended up disputing with my bank and to give my bank more information I called them back asking for the name of the person who I spoke with about canceling and they refused to give me the name. I ended up receiving an email from the manager that my bank reached out to them and that she’s denying my claim because memberships are billed on a monthly basis. Something I already knew but unfortunately does not apply to me because again I CANCELLED WELL IN ADVANCE. I told her that and I never received an email back from her. In my opinion this place isn’t worth it, again all they do is run around and play you can literally take your kid to the park for free, but if you do decide to bring your kid it is clean and the staff is very nice just at least have some sort of hard proof whether it’s a video or paper confirming that you canceled because if not they will def charge you again and try to steal your money.

My son fell at this location and fractured a bone in his foot. The injury occurred July 14th on one of the obstacles with the metal rails. The support beam across the bottom of these rails is only wrapped with caution tape. I called the facility to request the video for the injury, their comment was the video was not working this day. Of all days, the day he is injured the video system was not working, interesting. One of the owners Nicole said they would like to offer my son two month free due to his injury. Once the bone healed Nicole's story change to no, we were only going to suspend the payment for two months. If your child is injured at this facility they will not own up to their word, file an injury report right away. I tried to work with Nicole to alleviate any legal actions, since they did not keep their word, I am in contact with legal counsel. Do not trust the ownership to do the right thing. The rating would have been zero if that was an option.

This place is getting two stars simply because staff was super nice and my little loved it but what kid wouldn’t. Upon enrolling her in the dance class the paperwork only showed me that 3 months would be charged to my card which she only went for maybe two at most but it was no biggie about the funds being taken out for that last month without her participating because that’s what i signed up for. When checking my account this month i noticed a $99 charge being taken out of my account from them so i immediately called. The employee who answered informed me that when i initially signed up they were changing companies and that could be why i didn’t know about the months that were also being added on beyond the months i originally signed for. She then stated she’d have a manager reach out and that was zero help. I wasn’t necessarily looking to be refunded but wanted to bring it to their attention that they should let parents know that they’d be paying $100 a month for their child to run around and play regardless if they come or not. Also, make sure you sign the waiver to cancel any further classes which i didn’t realize so now i was charged $200 dollars for two extra months of class that she never stepped foot. Learn from my mistake.

First month, I only took my son on 1 out of 4 sessions, they called me wanting me to pay the full next month, saying a need to pay every month even if I don't take my son at all, what a joke! Also don't tell you when you signed up about this, even thou they make you pay a full year charge and a separate monthly charge, this is unfair practice to costumers, and is kia we're talking about here. You should change this hawkish behavior towards parents, mainly because is just about kids!

They clean the gym before and after class. The coaches do not pressure the kids to do the abilities. Rather, they focus on building a relationship with the kids so that they [the kids] feel safe and comfortable with them. They’re super flexible with make up classes. The staff is really respectful and nice.

I’ve been so pleased with my experience at Little Gym Pearland. I began going in 2018 with my 10 month old daughter and we continue to look forward to going each week. The staff is very professional and well trained. They make a great effort to meet each child where they are and make for a fun and rewarding experience in every class.

My daughter started this past week and already is asking to go back. She was all smiles the whole class. Miss Erin and Mr Kevin are made for working with kids. They made my girl feel right at home. I LOVE little gym! My daughter is a bit over 6 months and was very very shy before we started taking her here. After the introduction courses we took i immediately signed her up for regular classes. She is opened up a lot and is much more social now, and loves to come home and play with whatever we've learned from class. Aside from all the benefits it has given my daughter, the staff and other mothers/fathers who take their kids are also very sweet and welcoming. Over all amazing atmosphere and wonderful time.

I just called to schedule for an introductory class with my almost 9 month old. The receptionist was extremely helpful, nice and pleasant.
This may not mean much to those of you looking for reviews of those who've actually experienced a class, but great customer service goes a long way with me. I will go in with a very positive and sure attitude.
So far, so good. :)
