My introverted 4 year old was I intimidated at first but the staff was patient and warming with her. It has been a year and she has came out of her shell and has built confidence. I am thankful to the staff for creating a fun and comfortable place for a child to be a child.

Parents, enroll your child only if you are prepared to go through the “timeshare” level of efforts to cancel your contract. Cancelling is not easy, nor is it designed to be.

This place took my money for 9 months on automatic withdrawals even after I requested twice to cancel my membership. They wanted parents to jump through hoops to cancel (in this case, requiring parents to fill out an extra form to unenroll) on the guise of maintaining “good records” and avoiding “miscommunication” - there is nothing unclear about when somebody tells you they want to unenroll from your program. Apparently if a kid not showing up for months but you are still charging tuition, that’s “good records” on your book.

The class size was too big (at least 15 kids for 2 teachers) and my three year old kid was bullied in class by an older child without sufficient supervision from the teachers. I withdrew my kid on or about October 2024. The sales person I talked to on the phone put me on a temporary hold, then continued to charge me until January 2025. I requested the membership to be cancelled again, but I did not submit a cancellation form and the little gym continued to charge me until July 2025. I did not appreciate the fact that the little gym has received unjust enrichment (i.e., charging people for services you did not provide based solely on procedural grounds that it was because of my fault for not submitting a form despite my multiple attempts to call you and talk to you in person). If you claim to take care of every single kids in your care and take a personalized approach to learning, this is not consistent with your philosophy. You appear to not care at all if a kid does not show up but you can continue to charge them (because “corporate does not receive a cancelation form”). Parents, if you are cancelling the membership to this place, be sure to submit a cancellation form.
I had bad experience at this place at every step and would not recommend the little gym brand.

We enrolled my child in the summer camp at The Little Gym of Sugar Land, but after attending just one session, we realized the program wasn't a good fit due to its lack of structure. My child has special needs and requires a more structured environment. Despite explaining this, we were told we wouldn't be granted a refund. Instead, they offered to apply the payment to future classes.

Unfortunately, my child was dealing with health complications and we couldn’t attend during that time. When we tried to return, they compared the situation to missing a massage and refused to accommodate us. This response was both inflexible and disappointing. Given the circumstances, I strongly feel a refund should have been granted, especially considering the lack of proper structure for my child's needs. This experience has left me frustrated and upset with how the situation was handled.

My son came here for a friend's birthday party and never wanted to leave. More than anything, the staff is wonderful -- warm, involved, and good with children. We signed up for a weekly class which was always the highlight of my son's week. From membership questions to billing to rescheduling, the staff and owner have always been patient, flexible, and responsive. Interestingly, the owner was a gymnast for most of her life and a veteran manager of Little Gyms across Houston - which is a vote of confidence for The Little Gym and this one in particular. Highly recommend to try it out!

My twins girls celebrated their 5th Birthday at the Little Gym Sugarland location. The staff was great with explaining and helping plan out the activities for their party. As parents it was great to sit back watch the kids play safely and seeing them enjoying this experience. They were professional, friendly and so helpful. We had daughter 's birthday party here, and it was an awesome party. All kids play inside the play area, and parents sit outside chat, Phone, no need to follow kids run anywhere. Kids have a fun time with parachute, bubble and ball. Eating in another room with kid's height table and chairs. The staff helped us a lot, including watching kids inside, playing with kids, prepare pizza, cake for everyone. Even clean in the end of party. We really recommend little gym as a party place. My daughter feels comfortable with her friends to celebrate birthday and satisfied with little gym. Theme and Decorations are welcome to discuss with them. We love Ms.Tina, Ms.Jennifer and Ms.Deleny and other two assistants. Thank you again.

The Little Gym Sugarland/Missouri City is wonderful. The coaches are saints (we are biased towards Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Delaney), who treat all of the kids wonderfully. The baby bugs class has helped my baby grow and learn so much, and offered an incredible socialization opportunity for him.

We had my son’s 5th birthday here and it was a great experience! Kiara and Delaney were amazing to coordinate with. They set up all my decorations, the food, and gifts and cleaned when the party ended. The kids had free play in the gym and some activities, which they all loves. Went in to have a look around and was not impressed at all! The place was dirty and commonly touched surfaces showed signs of needing attention. The "owner" had a nasty attitude and didn't seem to want to be bothered. Honestly I don't think she has children of her own because the whole vibe is very impersonal. No one was wearing a mask and I kept hearing sneezing and coughing throughout the building (probably because it was dirty)
I definitely would not patronize this business, in fact I would recommend against it. There are several other places to take your kids where their health and safety won't be put at risk.

Update: I expected a far more professional response.. I didn't think I'd be offered sanitation supplies by the very establishment I observed in need. I also don't understand how it was "confirmed" I was "never" there. But it is extremely amusing just the same. I only hope you all spent the same amount of energy to attend to the concerns listed vs. arranging words into a bunch of blah-blah-blah and maybe set new standards for your facility in this "meeting " that took place.

We love The Little Gym of Sugar Land! The staff here are all beyond amazing: so caring, friendly, & professional. Ms. Delaney & Ms. Tessa have been instrumental in helping my very timid son grow into a more confident & physically capable toddler. Becoming a member has been one of the best decisions I've made for his social and physical growth. He loves it! They offer several different classes, summer camps, and events that there's always something that fits our schedule. Pricing is very decent for all they offer. I really can't thank them enough. I plan on keeping my son enrolled for as long as they let us! It's worth it.

The class itself was OK - though it could get boring after a few classes as the activities were rather repetitive.

My problem is about their tryout classes. Basically I was told the tryout class would be free, and then they charged my husband for the same class when he took the kid in.

We signed up for a tryout class six months ago and my child didn't like it. Now he is a bit older, I wanted to see if he might like the class now so I signed up again for a tryout class from their website. The signup was easy and straightforward and I was not charged anything at the time. Two days before the class I got a phone call from the little gym when I was at work. The staff left a voicemail saying I signed up six months ago and wanted to touch base. On the day of the tryout class my husband took the kid in. The staff told him he needed to pay for $30 at the door - so he did as my child was getting excited to get in. When I got there before the class started, the staff was busy trying to sell my husband the classes and didn't bother to tell me anything regarding the charge.

When I saw the charge the day after the class I called the little gym and asked why. They told me it was the policy that you could only have one tryout class. They also claimed that they called me and told me the policy in the voicemail. Yes they did call me and left a voicemail but they didn't mention anything regarding the single tryout class policy or the payment - I still have the voicemail as proof.

I am actually fine with paying for a tryout class; however, I wish the policy could be transparent and the communication could be upfront. You could forbid the tryout classes signups from the same account on the website, you could mention about the charge on the phone or the voicemail in the reminder email for upcoming class, or you could send out an email about the policy and the charge. You do not need to sneak in the charge, and tell one parent that the class is free class but ask the other parent to pay for it.

My daughter Echo started coming here before she could walk; she's now two years old and super confident in her gymnastics abilities!
Her reflexes and balance are outstanding, and I actually trust her body awareness more, knowing that she's had legitimate training.

We have grown close to the awesome staff and attended several fun themed parties as well! Whenever we say we are going to the Little Gym she always asks, "Are we going to see Miss Patrice too?!" 😂

We had a good time in class but I’m going through a nasty divorce and my ex went in and cancelled the membership, then I got a call saying I couldn’t use the classes that had been paid for unless I paid for the remaining months of the membership! If you cannot cancel anytime without payment they should have told the person cancelling that! I would have been happy to pay but do to the way it was handled we are done.
Also the gym could use a good wipe down, there is drool and snot everywhere!! Gymboree a few blocks away is much nicer and more interactive.

I love The Little Gym Sugar Land. Patrice is the best coach and has been working with my daughter for about 2 years and she has had a huge impact on her. Jennifer is a great owner and coach. She coaches my son's class and she is so patient and sweet. We just had a birthday party there and it went perfectly! Patrice and the staff working the party took care of everything. Kierra was awesome with the kids and games. It was great and everyone had an amazing time including the parents who got to sit back and watch the kids be entertained. I recommend it for classes or a party it's been a very positive environment for my kids.

I know about the little gym since back in 2011 when I got pregnant of my first baby and some friends told my husband and me about them 'cause actually they were and "nowadays" still are taking their children...so I tried them when my baby was almost 7 months up until she was 3 years-old and I can say that she loved it and still she asks me if I can take her there again now that she' s 4 😆...now I'm taking my 15 months little one since she was 8 months and the same thing as her big sister, LOVES IT...and it's not just about learning new skills and spending some time with your little one, it's about having all that and adding some much fun and happiness for both: the parent (s) and the child...I fully recommend it cause I've been taking my 2 kids to little gym in 2 different cities since then and I can tell you guys...it's for some good reasons 😊

I am a big fan of TLG - my kids have been there from infancy on and I can't recommend them more highly. The teachers are amazing, the classes are fun and the curriculum is something that always makes sense for their age group. We had our twins' 4th birthday parties (yes, they each had their own party) there this year. I can not say enough good things about them!! My daughter did their Dora party and she had a blast! My son did a superhero party and had a blast as well! It was so impressive how different each party was and how it was not just cookie cutter parties. They were clearly made to cater to how we wanted each party.
The party leaders were AMAZING! Every child was captivated by them. They made the party great for the kids but also for the adults. As the parents, we had to do next to nothing! It was completely organized down to details that we didn't even think of.
And I have to add that even opening gifts was organized and fun. I've been to alot of parties where this part becomes chaos & I was not sure if I wanted to do it. BUT the girls in charge kept it so organized, made a big deal of each gift & we were able to enjoy seeing the kids open gifts and thank their friends.
I would HIGHLY recommend having birthday parties here!

I've been taking my 3 year old girl and 22 month old boy to The Little Gym since they were 10 months old. We absolutely love it there. My kids have fun every time they go and ask to go there all the time. I love taking them there because I've seen them grow tremendously both physically and socially. I also believe the classes are increasing their self confidence as they learn new skills. I plan on keeping my kids there for at least the next couple of years. I would highly recommend them!
