Karate schoolAbout the Club
We teach traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate following the Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF) curriculum from Tokyo Japan. The SKIF was founded by Hirokazu Kanazawa (ιζΎ€ εΌε) and based on modern teaching of Gichin Funakoshi (θΉθΆ ηΎ©η)-(Shotokan's Founder). All our Instructors are Certified the Japan and train regularly with the SKIF head Instructors and have participated in Seminars in Tokyo Japan. Our Chief Instructor is Sensei Dennis Livotto.

I came to know this school strictly based on the response I got in a phone call. I wanted help on a particular skill. Dennis Livotto Sensei was willing to meet with me earlier in the day (before his classes began) and work on my specific martial skill request.
He didn't have to do that.
The education I received made such a difference that I was intrigued. What must his classes be like? I JUST HAD to try a few days out. By the time my week of free trial was over, I KNEW I wanted to be a full member of this great dojo!
You will work hard, you will sweat, you might feel confused at first BUT you are NEVER left behind and then...BOOM... it will click and you will grow in strength and confidence.
This is an excellent place for adults and youth to learn TRADITIONAL Shotokan Karate.

If you are looking for real Karate training this is the place, there are many martial arts schools in the area that are named as karate and they just teach something totally different. But at this dojo, Sensei Dennis will ensure you will learn Karate the correct way, as well to be respectful, disciplined and at the same time enjoy the classes. I highly recommend this place!

I am a student in this class and I have been training for the past 3 years or so I am a brown belt and I started with this dojo. Sensei Dennis is a very good teacher and mentor and so are the adults that help him out during the classes 10000/10 recommend it.

It's been 2 weeks and my soon to be 5 year son is enjoying the classes. I must applaud the trainers who are teaching him with a lot of patience. Im glad we choose this place and totally recommend.

Sensei Dennis is an excellent instructor. He shows a lot of passion in teaching karate to his students. Especially, he has a lot of patience with kids. He takes care of each and every student and puts in a lot of effort for their improvement. He is ably supported by his team (Sensei Patty, Sensei Joe and others) in his endeavor.

This Dojo is great! Sensei Livotto and the rest of instructors offer best quality training. There is also great support from the black belt sempais, which is a big plus. And twice a year we get to participate in SKIFΒ΄s trainings in the Houston area with World Chief Instructor and Kancho Kanazawa from Japan. Highly recommended!!
