Despite the ADA, the pool area is not accessible for people with mobility issues. The only handicap parking is across Columbus Avenue which is not very close.
The open swim time during the day is limited due to water aerobic classes. Not clear why the deep end is not open at those times.

Had my daughter Baby Shower here, the rooms are very spacious & can accommodate large number of guests. The center already had the table and chairs set up for us, all we had to do was decorate.The people working the Front Desk was so nice & friendly. The guy even came in to help us clean up when we was finishing up...definitely would recommend them to anyone!!

This is a great Church related Gym .
Which is my reason for choosing it.
It is a little Old school, but it's very clear, not crazy busy, offers class and individual training. The pool is heated and feels awesome as a cool down exercise choice after a HARD WORKOUT!
THE BUILDING IS OLD, so there are stairs in a couple areas. The elevator goes to all floors, except for the locker rooms and pool area!
The price is Right! Seniors are 1/2 off
There is child care, play areas....
A full Basketball court, Racket ball courts.
It is a great place for Me. I'm old school I guess....lol

This would probably be a bigger rating because the staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. The reason for my low rating is simply due to inaccibility. I am wheelchair bound and a parent to a 5 year old daughter who needed swimming lessons. I brought her for her first lesson today only to find every path to the pool could only be accessed by stairs. I have been in a wheelchair all my life so I am no stranger to adverity and barriers however in this day and age it is unexcusable and it really adds insult to injury when it it is owned and operated by a church.

Great gym to work out in. Great downtown location with a diverse clientele. They specialize in serving the community and the fact that they keep the equipment clean is a big plus, and also the staff is super nice, and the Water Aerobic classes are bomb!!!

Great place to workout! They have so many options! Swimming, Basketball, Weight lifting of all types, ellipticals, treadmills, etc. On top of all that the give lots of classes... No contract and extremely reasonable price! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Don't join over the phone you really have to see this place. They are remodeling and upgrading it.but I found the gym equipment jammed in one room not really usable, stairways without railings, carpet with sags and bulges. Maybe when they get it finished it'll be nice. It did have a swimming pool that wasn't too busy when I went there so swimming's your thing check it out.
