LIFT is a wonderful community of great people (staff & members) who have a passion for health & fitness. Everyone there loves working hard and pushing themselves to new limits. I have really enjoyed the cycling program they have brought on. Every instructor there has an incredible gift to teach cycle and they each offer something different. I walk out of that studio every time feeling amazing and Iβve been pushed. On a good day or a bad day, it is a therapy for me being in there...I encouraged everyone to come try it out. Thanks LIFT team for everything.

I'm so thankful to call LIFT home. All of the instructors encourage and inspire me to better myself with each class I take. With the recent opening of the spin studio, I have been more hooked than ever. LIFT has taken spin to another level and I couldn't love it more! Do yourself a favor and try a class at LIFT. As someone who suffers from such extreme anxiety she can't go to the grocery store alone, I can honestly say that Lift is my safety place. The trainers at Lift are honest, uplifting, and helpful in every way. Tina is a lovely soul, Angelyn is kind and patient, and Denise helped show me how to modify things so I can get the best work done. The class sizes are small enough for individual attention if needed, but big enough to make you feel comfortable (not like someone is always watching you). I can honestly say that I have drank to Kool-aid and can't wait to keep coming back again and again!!

I have been going to LIFT for about 2 months now and have made a commitment to get a full time membership. I love the enthusiasm and knowledge of the instructors in all 3 types of classes I have attended; Spinning, Lift and Boot Camp. The owner/operators Tina and Derek are both high energy and very helpful. I encourage everyone to join if they want a good cross section of full body workouts.

About one month ago, I started at LIFT. I was nervous to get back into lifting since it had been a few months void of lifting due to injuries. After one conversation regarding my injuries with co-owner, Derek, I was comforted by his extensive knowledge of injuries, how to prevent, and how to modify my workouts accordingly. His customer service is the best I've ever experienced from 8+ other gyms I've visited. He dedicates a lot of time with customers individually, discussing nutrition and/or supplements and their benefits. He truly wants to see members feel better and see results! I take co-owner Tina's class often who is fun, motivational, and full of energy. She is also aware of my injuries and is intentional to let me know when and how I need to modify a workout, as if it were a private/personal training. Although it has only been a month, I can already feel the progress. I love LIFT, the staff, and the support community I quickly gained!

Just started working with Derek (1-on-1 personal training) at LIFT Fitness and it has been a fantastic experience. I explained what my goals were, and he has done a superb job incorporating that into my program. He truly understands the body and how all the muscles work together - it is definitely helpful to understand the 'why' when it comes to fitness, and he makes sure you understand why each movement is done. This is not a cookie cutter gym where similar programs are used for everyone, it is truly a plan developed for the individual. In addition, he also has great tips/plans on diet and nutrition. I am looking forward to finishing my program and seeing the results!

These trainers take the time to talk you through your personal life to craft a plan that works for you. As a marathon runner, I found this approach especially helpful, as we tailored the gym workouts to my specific needs (including some INTENSE stretching) and discussed what a successful nutrition plan looked like. They'll give you realistic advice and will be honest with you.

Eight months ago, my wife and I decided to upgrade our mental, spiritual and physical fitness. At 57 years old, I had a conceptually simple (but difficult to execute) goal: I want to live to 100 with vitality. My wife, a former Pilates and Yoga instructor, wanted to lose some weight. We started looking around. Somewhat serendipitously, we stopped by a small gym just down the road from our house to see what they had to offer. We spent about an hour talking to the co-owner Tina about Lift's philosophy and programs. The overlap with our own priorities and focus was significant and it seemed worth a try. We both began one-on-one training with Tina's husband and co-owner, Derek. But that is just the beginning of the story. In our first encounters, we hammered out the dietary regime we needed to follow to meet our goals (since, counter to most folks' perception, fitness gains are about 80% diet and 20% gym work). In addition, both of us had varying degrees of scoliosis. Derek recommended a chiropractor who has worked wonders with us. He also recommended a massage therapist who specialized in deep tissue work who has been key to loosening up all those bunched up muscles after workouts. This sort of coordination was new to me. I found it akin to a very holistic project management approach to fitness in general.
After eight months of gym work three times a week with Derek, 3500 well-balanced calories per day delivered via six meals (I make my meals for the week on the weekend and store them in Tupperware containers for three of the meals each day), two to three chiropractor visits a week and massages as required (along with a supplement regime recommended by a naturopathic specialist) the results have blown my expectations away. I can truthfully say I've never been this fit and felt this good, even when I was running marathons or immersing myself in Crossfit. I'm well on my way to gaining about 12 lbs of total body weight to reach a target weight of 230 lbs while simultaneously reducing my body fat to under 10%. My spine has straightened significantly based on a progressive set of X-rays. We've quantitatively monitored other progress along the way by going to Medifast and using their body composition analysis machine to measure skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass, water balance, muscle development in arms, trunk, and legs, and basal metabolic rate. That data is verifying what I'm seeing in the mirror and shows that my gains in the gym shouldn't be a surprise. My wife has had even more remarkable results.

My husband and I started working out at LIFT at the end of February 2016. We could not be more happier when it comes to the results we have experienced first hand. Derek and Tina are wonderful trainers, their classes Tabata, Barre Class, and Boot Camp are phenomenal. LIFT and its owners, Derek and Tina are amazing. Started going to Lift in March 2016. Tina and Derek Carlton (owners) are awesome as well as the other instructors there! I enjoy going to all the classes. I go 5X per week. Boot Camp with Derek, Boot Camp with Fred, Lift with Tina, Tabata with Tina and Power Barre or BarreBelle are all awesome classes. We're all like a big family. The atmosphere and people are awesome. Try and you'll be hooked like I am! It's not like your other gyms... Tina and Derek work with you at your level and push when needed. I can't say enough!

LIFT has genuinely given me such great results physically and mentally! I have never been to a fitness studio with trainers, instructors and clients who are all so encouraging to one another. These guys really make sure it's our workout our pace while always challenging us to do more become more. Derek and Tina are both very adept with nutrition and fitness. Whatever your fitness levels are I completely 100% recommend you try LIFT out. They offer all different types of classes each one very different from each other, convenient schedules, and one one training. Because of LIFT I can now wear jeans I haven't been able to fit 7 years ago.

I hired Isreal through Thumbtack and I honestly couldn't have found a better trainer! Isreal immediately made me feel comfortable at the gym and worked with me to find a stable training schedule. He is very flexible and will work with you as little or as often as you need. He's available for sessions at his gym or sessions at your home/local park, whatever works best for you! I started out training 2 times a week but have quickly changed that to 4+ times a week. He's just that awesome. He is passionate about your fitness goals and will develop a training schedule to target your individual needs.
Our first session consisted of some fitness tests (how many jumping jacks/push ups can I do, how many crunches in a minute, how long can I hold my plank, etc...). This helped him identify where I was at, physically, and what kind of exercises we should focus on moving forward.
He's worked with me to identify a weekly meal plan, as well. We frequently review what I'm eating and how certain types of foods are affecting my body. Isreal goes above and beyond to ensure you are meeting your fitness goals, no matter what level you are at.
He's always on time and will always make you leave sore as heck! I truly and honestly could not rave about this guy any more. I've had many trainers in my day and never had someone care so much about my fitness. You will not be disappointed, I promise!
