THE best pilates studio in Georgetown!!!
They just added a praise and pilates class to the schedule and it was my favorite class I've ever taken. Makenna has amazing playlists too and her classes are challenging in the best possible way!!

This was my first experience trying reformer Pilates, and the coaches at this studio have been so kind, welcoming, thoughtful, and skilled in their instruction. One of the things I’ve really enjoyed is the diversity among the members—people of all ages, body types, and backgrounds come together here. Some of my favorite instructors are MaKenna, Jordan, Taylar, Caitlen, Erin, Katie, and Hilary. Thank you for creating such a safe and supportive space for everyone to work out!

I just joined this Pilates studio, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. As a complete beginner, I was a little nervous, but the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They took the time to show me around the studio, explain everything clearly, and walk me through each movement with patience and care. I never once felt like a burden or out of place; they made me feel completely comfortable and supported. I’m so glad I found this place!

I was genuinely excited to try Pilates for the first time, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, I felt a bit overlooked; I didn’t receive a tour of the studio, which would have been helpful in familiarizing myself with the space.
During the class, I was hoping for more guidance and support from the instructor, especially as a newcomer. However, I sensed that the instructor was somewhat frustrated with having to accommodate a new student. This made it difficult for me to feel comfortable asking questions or seeking clarification on the movements. At one point, I even felt that she grabbed my arm aggressively to redirect me, which was quite off-putting.
I truly wanted to enjoy this experience, but I left feeling discouraged and unwelcome. As a result, I’ve decided not to return. While I’m okay with losing my $49, I felt it was important to share my concerns in hopes that it helps improve the experience for future clients.

Joining a new gym or studio can be intimidating, especially if it's your first time doing something. I started going to Truecore Georgetown in March 2024 and I was very nervous to go, but immediately the staff recognized I was new and all nerves were set aside. After a few classes, Jordan, started to recognize me. Shortly after, she was challenging me to go outside of my comfort zone, may that be adding more springs, lifting heavier weights or trying new classes. Jordan not only challenges you to be be better, but she encourages you. She ensures your form is correct, she will ask what you want to work on and what your goals are. This isn't just a workout class, but it's a community. Truecore is one of a kind and we're so lucky to have a not so hidden gem on the square.

I moved to Georgetown about a year ago and found Truecore Fitness. I fell in love with the environment and the people here. Jordan has been there since my first day and is invested in my personal growth, guiding and helping me grow in my fitness journey. All the staff is absolutely amazing!

I found Truecore after doing both mat and reformer pilates at other studios and I am obsessed! I’ve never felt more welcomed by both the staff and other members. Everyone is so encouraging, the music is great, the time/class options are great and all the instructors are so kind and helpful! Truly so grateful I finally found a studio that I feel comfortable at. 10/10 :)

I have been going to Truecore for Pilates, yoga, and barre for more than 2 years now after doing Pilates elsewhere. The vibe at Truecore is great - the instructors are fun and effective, the building is cool, they play good music, and the clients are supportive of each other. Plus they sell cute workout clothes. 10/10 would recommend.

I took a class here led by Hillary and she was fantastic. I love working out with the reformer and Hillary made sure we got a solid burn in, while ensuring we maintained proper form. I'll definitely come back!

I can't say enough good things about this studio. The instructors are high energy and the studio is warm and inviting. Every class I took was difficult, but able to be modified. This is by far the best Pilates studio I've ever visited.

I don’t often review but today I reached a milestone. I’ve lost twenty pounds in the past five months and I attribute one huge factor to being part of TrueCore Fitness in Georgetown. I have never been a consistent gym goer or an athletic person and going to these classes has helped me change my identity. I now go weekly as consistently as I can to Pilates Flow (Erin!), True Pilates (Jordan!), yin yoga (Ash!) and barre (Alicia!). The instructors are funny, supportive and so motivating and I love the variety of classes offered. There’s a great energy and atmosphere and the studio is beautiful. Take advantage of the first week special and get to know everyone, this is a community of diverse, strong, confident women (and some men!) and I LOVE it here.

I have been going to Truecore for about two months now and that’s the longest I’ve ever committed to group fitness. The instructors are very welcoming and kind. I underestimated Pilates but it’s become one of my favorite things to do. Time flies by and I have always been sore afterwards. Each class varies in difficulty/working different areas of the body, so it’s never boring. The location being on the square adds to the fun vibes and its super cute on the inside!

This is the first time I have done pilates in a gym. Its clean friendly small classes and the variety is awesome. If you have injuries they work with you.

If you are looking for small instruction classes with a hard, sweaty, get your blood pumping workout, then this is the place! Jasmin, the owner is so accommodating and also a great fitness instructor. She pushes you to do your best! I have taken almost all the classes they offer and with different instructors and they are all sweet as can be but definitely don't take it easy on you (in a good way). If you are wanting results and a great workout, they will give it to you! They will also give you modifications if you have any injures which has been helpful for my knee.
Please do your body a favor and take a class with Truecore on the square. The view of downtown makes it even better.

Truecore has been an amazing and much needed experience for me. Coming out of back surgery in October of last year I had lost any flexibility I had left with a crushed L4-L5 disc (ADR) and a fusion at L5-S1.
It’s been great to experience progress in something new and challenging.
This is the best I have felt in 4+ years and I have been going for only a month.
What’s great is that everyone that attends is at their own level/skill set. It’s up to the individual to get what they can/want out of the process.
I can say all the ladies, teachers and clients have been welcoming to me in a female dominated arena.
I recommend and brag about it to everyone and they all say, “ that sounds good, I gotta try that”

Truecore Studio is amazing. its very small class sizes and the instructors pay very close attention to your formation to make sure you are doing everything correctly and if its to much for you they help you modify it so that you can still get the best possible workout. every class i attend i leave feeling like i got an amazing workout.

I have been suffering from hip bursitis for over a year, tried everything physical therapy stretching exercises at home bought myself an exercise bike and a treadmill only to find nothing working, until I had a pilates class with Jasmine, best workout I have had in years probably ever it is a fantastic class for anyone that wants to really get in shape and tone up and get fit. The instructor was amazing I recommend true core fitness to everybody and anybody fivestars Jasmine the instructor rocks

I have been working out with these ladies since It opened. It’s a great small workout boutique, with many options for working out. The instructors/owner is extremely passionate about what they do and makes sure you are getting the best workout. By far, my favorite place to workout In Georgetown, if your looking for a intense full body workout and a great family to do it with.
