I pay for the membership that comes with all the benefits including childcare. I’m debating cancelling it because they can’t get their childcare together. They never have anyone in the class to care for the kids. Front desk doesn’t tell anyone when the teacher isn’t there yet. She lets everyone walk to the class with their kids knowing no one is there. Horrible communicators and staff. Normally I would not care if it happened once, but two times a week that I show up and make time to go with my daughter before work on a time crunch at that for the last MONTH! I have wasted my time and unable to attend the gym a total of 8 times because of the issue with their childcare. It is unacceptable because most moms that show up with their kids are all on a time crunch or work. At least communicate with the members as they walk in, but no even that seems to be too much of an effort on the part of the staff.

Danny was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly approachable and kind. This Trufit location is truly the best location across the RGV. Not only do they provide several machines to workout in but the staff is always friendly and helpful, I’ve never had an issue here. Cancelled my services for my son back in August of 23 and for some reason continued getting billed. Work with REP(Michael E) to cancel the membership and ensured me that there was no balance left and cancelled prior to new billing cycle. I just received a text message that my son who is 13 years old now owes $231 and when I spoke with a manager, he(Eddie) was basically did not understand what I was explaining and kept asking me if I was still getting billed when he saw that there was a cancellation request on the system that we both saw on his computer. No empathy or concern was shown for the issue. Eddie then asked me if I was going to continue my membership which I said not at this time. He then went on to say that he has nothing to do with the billing system and that he would be reaching out to me soon with resolution. Will be waiting for that call.

Let me start off by saying I have been going here for the last 4-5 years everyday of the week. For as long as I’ve been here the spinning bikes are broken in one way or another . Excuse after excuse we’re fixing them , parts on back order etc. They will ask you for to make a work order using QR code but they close them without fixing equipment.
There is always draining of the ac resulting in random buckets / trash bags propped up randomly. This also happens every time it rains .
I have reached out to managers in person , via email , via social media with no luck. I finally got a response from managers the other day and all she said is “ we are aware parts on back order etc” same story as always!
As other reviews mentioned , bathrooms are nasty and so is the saunas often times full of trash…
Very disappointed in the service / gym especially the spinning class. They are really quick to charge us the maintenance fees for repairs like this. However nothing is being fixed.
Also early morning before sun comes up the lights in the parking lot do not come on ( or stay on) so the other day I almost got ran over. Manager said they were working on this but it’s been 3 weeks and lights still turn off while still dark outside .

The gym's condition has significantly deteriorated, particularly the restrooms, which are poorly maintained and have an unbearable odor. Proper hygiene standards are not being upheld, and despite numerous complaints from members, the staff attributes the issues to the new management. This management appears neglectful, especially considering the gym charges maintenance fees but fails to provide basic upkeep. The spinning classroom has been without air conditioning for over a month, and the spinning bikes are all malfunctioning. It’s evident that the gym does not prioritize the well-being of its members. As a result, I’ve decided to switch to another facility, such as Gold’s Gym, which better delivers on its commitment to member wellness. This situation is unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

Siempre las máquinas no sirven, y veo algunas llevan niños menores de 10 años, yo tengo la membresía que puedo llevar a alguien si quiero, se me ocurrió llevar a mi hijo, y no me dejaron entrar, me dijeron que lo mande pa guardería, entonces porque algunas mamás si les permiten que lleven a sus niños, lo he visto arriba donde están las caminadoras, los niños caminando,

I've been coming to this gym for a while now and I feel comfortable and like it. Justin, the Operations Manager, is great. He's always helpful, friendly, and keeps the place running smoothly. Highly recommend!

Pretty average gym experience. Specifically, the same dumbbells are missing every time I go. Feels like they're lost or taken to a separate part of the gym. Generally clean. Missing a few machines other locations aren't. For what you pay monthly, it could be worse, however there's a lot to improve on.
Edit: Forgot to include that this spot is very overcrowded for it's size. Definitely exceeding capacity.
