Equipment is not kept in working conditions( chest fly, stair stepper and other cardio machine have out of order sign for over 12 months), dumbbells and equipment are always out of the rack, barely enough to workout with, even when you are the first one in the gym.

Trainers are nice, and easy to work with.

It seems they knew they were closing for the last year and that’s why they failed to repair the equipment that every member is paying to use.

Pins missing from machines, A/C is often off/broken on the third floor, water fountains are outdated, weights are everywhere, machines are often broken, the music is too loud (no one is listening anyway since everyone has on their headphones making it difficult to hear what you choose to listen to even with ANC on). The staff is nice though. This location is the closest to me, so I go, but if these things don't get addressed soon, I'll be going somewhere else.

No elevator for over three months, the regular stairs are now closed, and they just shut down the childcare. We’re having to use the emergency stairwell for everything. This has turned into a real safety and convenience issue. I hope management addresses all of this immediately.

This gym makes it so difficult to cancel your membership. I submitted my request to cancel my membership a year ago and whomever is is chage of canceling memberships failed to cancel my membership. They have continued to charge me for over a year. Even after I followed their instructions, they canceled the wrong person. In their reply email it actually states the wrong membership number and member name. This business has failed to correct their error even after multiple calls and emails. I had to change my banking information because they continued to chage me. I will be reporting them to thr BBB and seeking legal action.

The worst TruFit gym I’ve ever been to in the whole valley. Very disappointing since I love this location but it’s several basic things that they lack. The ac never works on the third floor so you walk up the stairs and it smells like 🍑, the stair masters are always out of order, the elevator doesn’t work it’s been years since the last time I used it, and the roof is basically falling apart there can’t be a drop of rain because you will see literally buckets where there’s leaks and lastly the gym equipment is trash it’s way out of date. So what maintenance fee are we paying for if everything looks worse and worse every time I come here?

I would like to leave a comment. This gym was the best place close to my house convenient excellent hours I got told this past Friday. Their hours changed Monday through Saturdays 9 to 7 Sundays closed. I usually go with my son right after school. He gets out of practice at 6 PM Which it’s not gonna be convenient for me anymore. Their hours have reduced a lot plus elevator hasn’t been working for the pasted month already plus it was not working prior like for 3-4 months some machines don’t work, but they still charge us the extra fee for the maintenance on the equipment, which I don’t know where that money is being kept. It’s making me cancel my whole accounts Had three accounts open I know I could find better hours Plus, less payment

Kylee Peña is such a great personal trainer. She knows how to make sure I’m getting the most out of the workout. She skillfully adjusts my technique and pushes me, yet knows my limits. Ive been attending this location for 3 years at 5am since it is the only time I am able to go. They recently made last minute changes without any notice that they will no longer be opening at 5am they will change it to 7am. Update: After continued follow-up, management eventually called, apologized, and confirmed our memberships were canceled with no additional fees. They also took responsibility for the lack of communication and how the situation was initially handled.

Extremely disappointing experience and unprofessional management

I had a terrible experience at TruFit Athletic Clubs – Ware Rd Exp 83. My husband and I were misled from the very beginning. We signed up under the impression that we had a 7-day trial, which we later found out “wasn’t active” — and were instead pressured into a full membership, with the promise that we could cancel within 3 days.

When we tried to cancel the same day due to the AC being out (making the gym unusable), we were sent in circles. Hector from sales pushed us to try another location and said we could cancel there. That second location told us to contact ABC. ABC then told us they couldn’t cancel because we were still within the first 3 days and needed to go back through the club.

To make things worse, when I tried to escalate the issue, Ana Laura (the manager) refused to take my call, just like Hector. No one is willing to take responsibility. The staff clearly rely on misinformation and avoidance to trap people into memberships.

This kind of behavior is unethical and unacceptable. I have already requested my membership be canceled in writing, and if I don’t receive confirmation, I’ll dispute any charges with my bank. I will also be sharing this experience across other platforms to help others avoid the same situation.

Avoid this gym — especially if you expect honesty or accountability.

I was pretty skeptical about the whole membership after looking at many of the reviews. One thing for sure is that front desk staff have been very helpful at the ware location in trying to get my app up and running to schedule my sessions with a trainer, classes and what not. Literally call, email, etc; and not once did Josh make me feel like I was a bother and was very sincere in his attempts. Thankfully everything worked out and though the location has its fair share of worn seats or scuffed equipment; the staff seem very genuine that I can overlook some wear and tear. P.S. Pilates with Kylee are worth trying.
