I've been to a couple of dozen gyms over the years and this one has definitely been at the top of the list. I've been coming to this gym for a while now and it is never crowded since it's always open and has staff on duty.

I enjoy using the weights and the equipment is well maintained and there's a lot to choose from. The owners and rest of the staff are really friendly. I'm really glad I found this place after searching online. Definitely a great place to go to whether you have been working out for years or just getting into it for the first time!

This gym is a family , they take good care of their students, very knowledgeable instructors. If you’re in the Killeen area you should definitely come check them out. 10/10 oss

Please read! I would urge everyone to avoid this gym like the plague! If I knew how trash of a management this gym had I would never have signed up for a membership! I joined illuminate from when I was a junior in high school and I am now about to graduate college. I’ve been with this gym for a long time and I slowly realized how non caring and unprofessional this gym is. Many of their instructors have left because of issues dealing with management. The gym has been closed for a couple of months now due to the pandemic and no one has sent a single email to me, or suggested a credit or anything instead for 2 months now I have had money taken out of my account for a gym I cannot even go to. I have tried to call the gym, the phone doesn’t work. I have tried to email them from the email provided on their website, and it gives me an error message. I’ve even dmed them on social media. I have exhausted all options. I even went to the location and IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY!!!! They either moved locations or closed down and I did not receive a single notification!! I’m completely done with this gym.

Its a smaller gym that is locally owned. Staff is super nice and they do not tolerate other customers harassing each other. Sure i could go to the large box chains locally (and i have) but i do not enjoy my time there as i do at this gym. Its not all instagram "models" trying to take a pic and your rushing to get out of the picture. Its real folks really working out.

I've had a membership here for years, but only felt compelled to leave a review after working (inadvertently) with Scott. He helped me out with a few machines after a bootcamp he had early in the morning and also gave me some awesome tips on how to work different muscle groups for maximum results! That was super cool of him! We got to talking and I realized his wife runs the spin class (friggin' LOVE her!!!)! Everything is clean and professional when I come in, an I love how the people there are always so polite :) THIS is why I choose this gym over a chain, you can tell the folks here really love their jobs.

Bad experience at this gym. Had to switch! Was a member at this gym for over 6 years.

Cool gym, I went at night wasn’t too crowded. Equipment is good. They have a sauna. They have locker rooms. The classes are cool too. They have cycling and Zumba which is amazing. Stays open 24hrs. Nice gym membership isn’t too much.

Love the Boot Camp class! Great instructors/trainers! I saw physical results within a month of going 5x/week.
Husband and I are PSCing to Fort Bragg and they were awesome when it came to ending my contract. They were unable to prorate my membership so instead they gave me a free pass to keep coming an additional week. Love that I get to workout right up till our move date. Thank you!

Used to go after I got off work. ( in the middle of the night) was usually very empty which was great for me being new to a gym. I trie the zumba class during the day which was fun but to over crowded. Being new to the gym and working out I wish there would have been like a class or some more available help when it came to equipment usage. The sauna was one of my favorite parts.

Good gym some of the equipment isa little messed up, like an elliptical, but that happens with time. Its 24 hours and has a lot of classes. The Wi-Fi is messed up and sometimes doesn't work. Thats why its 4 instead of 5 stars.

This has been such a refreshing change up from Gold's. I love the price I pay for the VIP membership which not only includes my membership and childcare, but I also can tan up to 15 minutes and bring 1 guest with me every day. It is a good bit smaller than gold's gym and there are a few machines and equipment that I miss, but it has all of your basic and essential stuff to get a good workout. Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful and overall the atmosphere is much more welcoming than where we came from. Thanks for helping me enjoy working out again.

Great, nice and informative staff. Trainers there are very knowledgeable. Owner Hector also has Twin Wolf MMA gym for those looking for more. Free day care for 1st child and low costs for another, no need to pay for child care while you get your fitness in. Spin and other classes are here too.

I asked the young lady to change my TV channel to news. She changed it then some other employer 10 minutes later put it on something else. I asked her to put it back and she said she did not Know how and would get assistance. I finished working out. Staff does not seem to care about customer. If you are looking for friendly place who treats all customers equal, you may want to visit another establishment.

Staff is so unprofessional!! They are rude and not customer service oriented .They support a staff that lies and creates drama . Your there to release stress not gain it . The two Hispanic girls with long black hair can't speak English well and are very bias toward white Caucasian people and very rude if you are a conservative and a Republican .They always promote libral stations on their TV's. The environment is very liberal . Stay away from this place!

I went in with my husband to cancel my membership after a staff member was rude to him for not having the little sign in card. She refused to cancel our membership for the second time and again was quite rude and didn’t care about customer service. The manager that my husband talked to also did not seem to care and did nothing to resolve this issue. We just want to cancel the memberships to their awful gym.

Give them 3 stars because I didn't always have a problem with them. Not sure if it's under new management or something but the new people have an attitude. When I called them on it they want cry to their boss and played the victim. Fire or keep them. I dont care. I'm out. I'm just trying to work out. Not deal with a two faced trouble starter.

Gonna have to change that to one star. Came back when they told me to come back. Same girl was there. I asked why she offered to do this and then wouldn't and said "because I was rude." Fair enough. I will go back for a 3rd time to cancel and they get one star.

My trainers awesome.
Service and cleanliness very bad.
They get you every year with out notice. First the maintenance fee beginning of the year, then if you wanted to cancel even though you didn't agree for a 2nd year contract is outomatecly with out any warning. Monthly pmt will continue as well as charging you for the cancellation so $200 including the monthly charge. Wow

Great gym with a diverse crowd of gym goers who lift hard and heavy and those that look to maintain or tone. The staff is polite and always willing to help. They are not pushy with their services, and overall its a great gym to work out and the price is reasonable and affordable.

In case you're wondering why they have such great reviews it's because they revoke anyone's membership who has a complaint. Illuminate has the worst costumer service and will not make any effort to listen to or resolve any issues with you and will just cancel your account without you knowing. If you leave any negative feedback you will be terminated. I had some serious issues with the childcare here and unless I deleted my comment my membership was revoked. The ownership is awful and I will be warning everyone I know against going to Illuminate.
