My kid has been in the villa swim team for over a year now. Everything is great. Coach Kirby is the best-professional, patient, and always communicate with patients about their practice progress. Other than the team, the facility is amazing, well maintained, so many free activities/classes you can join. It definitely worth the membership fee you paid for.

Unfortunately, this gym is overpriced and I have been a member for over two years but now they are being incredibly greedy adding a recovery area and charging an extra $49 on top of membership fees So you want me to spend $200 where I pay $50 somewhere else and get more amenities. I have another gym membership and all the machines are brand new And they have everything that’s included in these recovery spa and I only spent $50 total for my membership. I plan on canceling my membership soon. But the main reason is, I don’t feel safe. I have seen the employee daily on the phone in the women’s locker room while I have walked around naked and other members. I have complained to a staff member once already to notify a manager, and I highly doubt they did anything or told management to protect their coworker Because the same staff member keeps face timing in the locker room with other people and leaving her phone there while people are roaming around naked, which is illegal by the way. When I’ve told the girl to stop doing that because it makes me feel unsafe, she typed on her phone saying she doesn’t speak English. It’s the same young Hispanic girl in her mid 30s and with glasses that works in the daytime and only in the women’s locker room. And I find it funny how she would tell members that being on your phone is not allowed, but she is constantly on her phone and never working. This place has really gone down hill hiring people that clearly don’t care. The only great thing and the only reason I stayed so long is because I enjoy the classes and the coaches are amazing. But unfortunately, me being unsafe in the locker room constantly is the main reason I’m going. I’ve waited to write this until I found a different gym. I hope y’all do better and keep your member safe because myself and tons of other members don’t feel safe.

Coach Ashley is truly outstanding! Her passion for swimming and dedication to the athletes really shine through in every practice. She has a perfect balance of pushing swimmers to improve while also keeping the environment positive and supportive. My child has not only grown stronger and faster in the pool, but also more confident outside of it.

Coach Ashley takes time to give individualized feedback, celebrates progress big and small, and makes every swimmer feel valued as part of the team. It’s clear she genuinely cares about both the sport and the kids. We are so grateful to have her as my son’s coach— highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent training and an encouraging community!

I have really enjoyed being a member here! From the time you walk through the front door and are greeted by member services it is such an enjoyable experience. Tanner is always super helpful anytime I have any questions at the front. Their AGM Tyler is also super helpful and really takes an interest in all the members at the club. Makes you feel right at home! The Aquatics director Nikita also has made this summer a summer to not forget! She is always so hands on at the pool and has such a bright and bubbly personality. 10/10 recommend this lifestyle club.

Management is a mess! Inconsistent with there policies. When I signed up I asked if I could bring a guest because often times I bring my wife or son. Well for over a year I was bringing my wife every day without question. Then out of the blue management tells me I am not allowed to bring a guest. Wait what I signed up under those conditions. They explain to me that for an extra 40-50 bucks I can bring a guest ONCE per month. What a joke! Honestly for the price villa is a ripoff. As a person who goes to the gym everyday for the last 5 years I have been to a lot of gyms and villa is by far the worst experience. Lastly it took 3-4 months to get them to cancel my membership. I had to go to there facility and raise hell to finally get the membership cancelled. My advice is to avoid at all cost.

The gym itself was fine, but the issues started when I tried to cancel my membership. I went in person to cancel because I was moving. There’s no option to cancel online. I filled out the cancellation paperwork, but it was “lost”.

Despite going back in person, calling over five times, and speaking with the gym manager at least twice, I was told my membership would be canceled and I’d be refunded for the months I was wrongly charged. None of that ever happened.

After four months from when I originally cancelled in person, I finally had to block them from auto-drafting my account. They’re still emailing me about failed payments, even though I’ve made every effort to cancel properly.

If you can’t keep track of physical paperwork, you need to offer an online option. I should not be paying for your poor administrative processes. Ridiculous and frustrating. I do not recommend this gym to anyone who values transparency or basic organization.

They take a long time replacing things that have been broken or very obviously in the process of breaking. They comfortably have you enforce their rules to other members who ignore them. They have a big indoor basketball courts, yet have the worst balls, where half arent pumped up, so flat you could chuck them at the ground and nothing. Their excuse is members steal the new balls and they do nothing to stop it. They absolutely have fine print bs ways to charge more money and its 30$ a person to bring a friend to check it out or visit. 1 week was 110$+ this is absurd for how much they charge members monthly. Facility overall great, company who runs it = trash 🗑

Very disappointed with VillaKids (childcare area)

I’ve been a member at VillaSport for over two years, and I’ve always followed the rules and treated the staff with respect. However, recent experiences with the VillaKids childcare area have left me deeply disappointed and led me to cancel my membership.

Last week, I registered my daughter for 10:30 a.m. and arrived at 10:00 a.m., but was told I had to wait. I accepted it,but right before me, another parent who hadn’t even registered their baby was allowed in. That felt completely unfair.

Today, I returned and this time registered my daughter a full day in advance, arrived on time, and was still told she was on the waitlist. How does that make sense?

I’m someone who follows the rules especially when it comes to child safety but what bothers me most is the lack of consistency and fairness. You can’t apply one set of rules to some parents and a different one to others. It creates distrust and frustration.

VillaSport has great facilities, but if the childcare isn’t reliable or fair, it doesn’t work for families who truly need that service. I hope management listens and improves training and protocols, making sure rules are applied consistently and equally for everyone.

I have had a great experience at VillaSport and would particularly recommend personal training sessions with Drew Stroede. I have made more progress on my fitness goals since working with him for four sessions than I had in the two years prior.

I had specific goals for our training sessions which he listened to and understood readily. I appreciate that he frequently asked for and acted on feedback and was fun to work with. He addressed questions and tailored my workouts to accommodate my constraints and preferences enabling me to move forward quickly and confidently. The investment was well worth it and will certainly pay dividends in the future.

Worst management I’ve ever dealt with. Canceled membership in March due to a long trip abroad. Cancellation was supposed to take 30 days, so it should’ve ended in April. But they charged me in May too. I had to lock my credit card to avoid being charged in June. Called customer support, came to the club 3 times asking the manager why the membership was still active and why they kept charging me. After every call and visit, they promised to look into it and call back in 2–3 days — not once did anyone call. I have to come in every week and listen to the same empty promises. They said it was a mistake by the previous manager who lost the cancellation form, and promised to fix it and refund the charges. But it’s almost August now — and guess what — membership is still active, and I still get invoices. New management is no better. Ridiculous. Be careful with the Cypress location — you won’t be able to cancel your membership, you’ll still be charged, and no one will fix it. Shame on you, Villasport.

First and last time getting a smoothie from the Villa Cafe. What a disappointment. There was absolutely NO fresh fruit! $12 for two small children’s cups of blended powders and ice! How can you market that as fresh smoothie? No where on the menu did it state anything about it being freeze dried powders instead of frozen or fresh fruit. I asked to speak to the manager because I never would have ordered those smoothies if I knew they were not using actual fruit. Turned out the lady who made the smoothie and rang me up was the manager. She did apologize, but didn’t offer a refund, discount or anything else to amend the situation. Do better VillaSport.

The gym itself is fine.

The problem i have is the fact that they have like a dozen handicap spots and people who aren't physically disabled are parking in these spots. How do I know they aren't physically disabled? If you can walk on a treadmill for 30+ minutes you are not physically disabled to where you would NEED the handicap spot.

If there were not any handicap spots available, these scrubs would just park in a regular spot and their life would not be affected in any negative way. If the handicap spots are taken, I have to wait or go home. I am in a wheelchair. My van has a ramp that comes out on the side which allows me to get in and out independently. The lazy losers that take those spots negatively impact me.

My only hope is that the people that do this find themselves in a position one day where they actually need it. Then they'll understand.

Having just purchased a house in Cypress, I was recently given a tour of this gym. I was very impressed. My primary focus is free weights. The equipment is positioned far enough apart to have good personal space. They also have sufficient amounts of the same equipment to avoid feeling overcrowded. The outdoor training area was very well kept up and roomy. The rest of the facility looked spacious as well. I had a short tour given by Ryan due to my time constraints. He was very polite, professional and answered all my questions. All other staff I was introduced to was very friendly and informative.. Though I may not use many of the nice amenities offered by Villa, the welcoming feeling I felt along with an absence of the "overcrowded" vibe a lot of gyms generate will lead me to get a membership once I relocate to Cypress.

Beware.
This gym has become a YMCA and daycare center during the summer and whenever school is out.
This happens every time there is a school holiday and it has gotten So Much Worse. It's like a mall during back to school. There's barely any parking available anymore because they hangout in the parking lot. They congregate in groups throughout the gym laying on the floors and sofas in the lounge and seating areas. I also see parents drop some kids off, so I guess they hangout while parents are at work? I notice not all of them get scanned in, so it's friends bringing friends?
Just yesterday 5 preteens were on all of the stair machines laughing, and jokingly hanging off the machines while taking videos. They're constantly taking photo's and videos everywhere, even the locker rooms and saunas. There's a "no phone policy" that is never enforced.
They regularly hog the work out machines. They don't know how to use them so they break them and then the machines will be "out of order" for a year. There is so much trash, dirty towels and gum left everywhere is disgusting. They're loud, rude and don't have any consideration for other gym members (about what you'd expect from groups of unsupervised teens)
I saw one teen vaping in the lounge area! When I told the concierge they say the same thing about everything "we will advise the mgr". Nothing was done. Don't even get me started on the restrooms.

I'm have thought about canceling my membership in the past due to the decline in quality. Now I'm looking at other options. I'd rather go to a small no frills gym and have peace and quiet than hordes of loud teens everywhere breaking stuff and leaving nasty messes.

VillaSport Cypress is truly a top-notch, family-friendly, resort-style club that I would recommend to everyone. My daughter absolutely loves both the indoor and outdoor pool areas. One of her favorite parts of our visit is getting a smoothie afterward, and Maci, the Food & Beverage Manager, has gone above and beyond to personalize it just for her—making each visit feel special.

Caitlin and Jonathan from the housekeeping team were also incredibly attentive, checking in regularly to ensure we had fresh towels and anything else we might need on the pool deck.

This is exactly what I consider a five-star customer service experience. You can clearly see the influence of strong upper management, as it’s reflected in the initiative and care demonstrated by their leadership team. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality at VillaSport Cypress truly set it apart.

I have been here for 3 years but the last 6 months this place has drastically declined. Nasty pools and hot tubs… dirty towels every where. Children in hot tubs and area under 6 years of age that shouldn’t be and uns-supervised. Hat little employees there are on their phones. Literally only 2 rules there. No phones where people are naked and put your towel away. And they seem extremely understaffed in the last 6 months compared to the past 3 years I’ve been here. I am actually canceling tomorrow. I rarely write negative reviews because I know how important reviews are for businesses, but I couldn’t stay silent after this horrible experience.

Here’s my story:

First, we had a GREAT experience with our swim instructor, Jenn. She was truly phenomenal with our toddler—a rare gem. She was a pleasure to deal with, and I have nothing but good things to say about her.

Unfortunately, the management/admin staff fell short.

I tried to offer a little grace because I know they were in a transition period after recently hiring a new aquatics director. Communication and organization were issues before, but unfortunately, they did not seem to improve with the new aquatics manager.

We were told we had taken all 8 lessons we had paid for, and we needed to pay for the next batch of lessons. First of all, the way they have that set up is absurd—why not just sign up for a particular day/time and get set on an auto draft recurring subscription model? You have to sign up for new lessons each month? Or pay for a few months at a time? Weird. But all that aside, we were told we had used up all of our 8 lessons… but we had actually paid for 16 lessons. So we called and left a voicemail to see how many lessons we had left. No response. We tried to email. Crickets. We emailed again. Nada.

After multiple unanswered attempts, we decided to email the national director of the aquatics department. I was thoroughly unimpressed with how she handled the situation. She could have taken responsibility and just said something like “We dropped the ball. We’re in the middle of a new management transition right now, but that’s no excuse for our lack of communication. You have x lessons left. Apologies for the mixup, we will do better”. But instead, she decided to take the opportunity to defend the current manager and shift the blame to our instructor, who had nothing to do with it. Our instructor's name was never even mentioned. Our issue was with the management, and we made that abundantly clear.

The national director told us we had 5 lessons left. Then, the very next day, someone else told us we had 10 lessons left. Lol, what a cluster F.

At this point, we were done with Villa as a whole because this was getting increasingly annoying. My wife sent them a lovely, long email asking that our membership be canceled and asking them to please not contact us again.

We checked on the Villa app, and it said we were scheduled to have our membership canceled a month from that date.

I went in person to ask about it just to make sure, because I know you normally have to fill out paperwork to cancel. That is another very annoying thing—they make you go in person to fill out paperwork to cancel. This is 2025. You can’t email me that form and have me email it back in? Just a hoop they make you jump through to make it difficult to cancel. Annoying.

So I went in person and asked if we were good to go on the cancellation. The gentleman I dealt with at the front desk (who was great by the way) said he had no way to look up if/when we were set up to have our membership canceled. Lol. What system are they using, man? What a joke. So I filled out the paperwork just in case. I said it was going through my card, but my wife and kids were all connected to that same account. He said we should be all good to go and have everyone’s account canceled 30 days from that date.

Then, a few days later, we got a call. They want my wife to come in person to fill out the paperwork because she is the primary contact on the account. She also needed to give a reason why we were canceling (I forgot to fill that box out when I filled out the form).

So I went in AGAIN and rehashed the situation, and the lady at the front desk looked up our account and said we were, in fact, scheduled to have our membership canceled at x date.

I really hate writing bad reviews, but this was just embarrassingly bad. Even upper management was no help. I was thoroughly unimpressed with our overall experience. Hopefully, we were just an outlier situation, but that was my experience.

This review is for the aquatics department. While our instructor, Jenn, was excellent, VillaSport’s management — Nikita Wade-Sainsbury (Aquatics Director) and Cara Grafft (National Aquatics Director) — was the reason we canceled our membership.

After my emails, phone call, and voicemail were all ignored, I escalated basic concerns (lesson tracking and scheduling help) to Cara. Instead of accountability, I received defensive excuses, contradictory information, and obvious attempts to shield Nikita rather than resolve member issues. Cara's attempt to craft a narrative fell apart when she failed to recognize her own contradictory statements (for example: offering to introduce me to Nikita, but only a few sentences later asking what Nikita and I spoke about).

As someone with single-sided deafness who relies on clear communication, it was especially frustrating that Nikita wore AirPods while managing the pool deck — making her visibly unapproachable and creating accessibility barriers that Cara dismissed. Nikita's unprofessionalism extends beyond poor communication and includes posting inappropriate public-facing content while in her VillaSport uniform.

If you're looking for organized, professional swim leadership, look elsewhere.

If you haven’t been to VillaSport in Cypress yet… you’re missing out.

I just toured the entire facility at 12951 Barker Cypress Rd and captured it all on video, and let me tell you — this place isn’t just a gym, it’s a full-blown resort experience.

From the moment you walk in, everything feels upscale but still welcoming. The equipment is brand new, the space is massive, and it’s clear they didn’t cut corners anywhere. You’ve got your usual weight room and cardio areas, sure — but the real game changers are the indoor and outdoor pools, full spa, and the chill adults-only lounge area (yes, you read that right).

The kids’ area is next level too. We’re talking supervised care, play zones, and even activities for them so parents can actually focus on their workouts or grab a moment to breathe.

One of my favorite touches? The layout flows really well — nothing feels crammed or chaotic, even with how much they’ve packed in. Whether you’re into HIIT, spin, yoga, or just hitting the treadmill in peace, you’ll find your zone here.

They’re still new, so everything is clean and organized, and the staff I talked to were friendly and knew their stuff. Pricing is a little higher than your average gym, but with all they offer, it makes sense — you’re getting way more than a gym membership.

If you’re in the Cypress area and want a gym that feels more like a private club, this is definitely worth checking out.

The experience is very rewarding. We try to go daily and that means we expect the gym to be clean and tidy which is hard on staff and really any business owner. I think they do the best of anyone in the area: better than Fitness connection, the Y, 24 hour, Lifetime, Planet fitness, anytime (more like no time to clean), and orange. Trust us, we tried them all.

We go after work while our children are at their sports clubs. It can be busy around those times and it can be disappointment and very anxiety-inducing if something you want to do like a class is full. Even if your favorite class or instructor is booked you will find another great class and another great group of queens to work out with.

The villasport I go to has very clean chairs and mirrors where you can lounge after you shower and get ready without worrying about your feet being in clogs and shower shoes. I appreciate them going the extra mile to accommodate ladies in the locker room. Ladies that lounge—and then lunch. Food is good too.

I’d like to begin by saying the facility and amenities at this club are outstanding. The environment is inviting and well-designed, and although I haven’t yet had the opportunity to use everything personally, I was thoroughly impressed during my initial visit. This is the primary reason I’m giving a 2-star review rather than lower.

Back in November 2024, while briefly in Houston, I toured the club with Justin. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and provided a detailed overview of everything the club has to offer. I shared with him that I spend about half the year in Houston and the other half abroad for business, and that I was looking for a place to call home during my time in the city.

After returning home and considering my options, I decided to sign up for a membership. Unfortunately, shortly after joining, I had to leave the country for business travel and have been away ever since. During the past four months, I’ve allowed my membership to continue running, totaling approximately $523.92. I was okay with this because I believed the club was worth the investment and appreciated having access if I returned to Houston unexpectedly.

However, the issue I’m facing—and the reason for this review—is the complete lack of communication and follow-up since I joined. Prior to signing up, I was receiving regular calls and emails checking in and offering assistance. Since becoming a member, that communication has ceased entirely.

I also signed paperwork for a private locker at the time of registration, which was important to me for storing personal items while in town. For the past four months, I’ve been calling and emailing simply to ask for an update on that locker—whether it’s ready or if any additional paperwork is needed. A quick response could have resolved everything and avoided the frustration that led to this review.

It’s disappointing that I now feel compelled to write a public review in hopes of getting any form of acknowledgment. This level of service is not what I expected from a premium health club, especially one with a price point that requires many families to adjust their budgets to afford. For $130 a month, I would expect at least a basic level of member support, including timely responses to emails and calls.

While I’m still looking forward to experiencing the club when I return to Houston next month, the lack of follow-through and member care has made me question whether continuing my membership is worthwhile.

They cater to professional athletes and the every-day man or woman who just needs to improve their health or to lose weight. The people who go to Villasports are very considerate and there does not seem to be anyone who thinks they are Kobe Bryant or Lebron James or Michael Phelps or Caitlin Clark. The other patrons are very mindful.

You guys do a very good job explaining all of the membership options. You also do a good job with cleaning the facility since it is hundreds and thousands of square feet. It is the best place in the area for cardio and it is very “light” inside from the outdoors. Very good.

Good day everyone! Just wanted to give my two cents on my experience. I have had nothing but a great experiences at VillaSport.

For me it started at the very beginning. I like to really vet my subscriptions, so I started with a week guest pass for this gym. During my week, I got to see and use the amazing facilities. The machines are very good, they are well maintained, and the gym is not too too busy, even during some peak times. There is plenty of equipment to utilize. This is one of the few gyms in the area that has pool AND basketball court, which is great for someone like me who loves to work out many days and looking to cross train.

I then decided to go "full member" and scheduled a tour for membership signup. My tour guide, sorry I don't know what else to call you lol, was Lili and she was superb. Super friendly, excited to show me what the gym had to offer and even go me in a room that has a class called "Les Mills". I went into the tour knowing I would sign up but after the tour, I would've signed up anyways due to the energy of the staff. It truly is rare to see a culture of people who truly love what they do and how they treat people.

During my membership, I started group cycling classes, they call it Les Mills, with "Coach" Steve (I call him Coach). Cannot find a better instructor for the time slot. Like many others, energy is great, super helpful, really pushes you in an uplifting way that you just want to be the best.

For anyone on the fence, my best advice is....invest in yourself. You will not regret it. Claim what you deserve.

Have a great day everyone!

We love Villa. The exercise equipment is clean, safe, and always available. The classes from body pump to trip meet every need. I love a good facial from Amy in the spa. It’s far more than a gym and has made our move to Texas feel like home.

All work and no play makes, well, you know—but not at villasports. It’s not all play of course because there are a lot of events that incorporate the culture and family atmosphere. It’s a big community feeling in Houston. There are seasonal get togethers and a lot to do with the pool, but there are also one-on-one events and specials too like for couples. Even if you have kids they can take part in activities and clubs like swimming—and they’re good!

They use the basketball court for anything other than basketball and it’s very frustrating driving a hour here to get a session in and they got pickleball all over the courts or some kind of function.. they even built a pickle ball court outside and they still choose to go on the courts … shoulda put a basketball court outside or something

I really wanted to like this gym because the amenities are great, and the trainers are fantastic. But for the price, the cleanliness is absolutely unacceptable. Dust and dirt everywhere, especially in the corners, like they’ve never been cleaned. The machines are covered in old grime, the showers are filthy, and I even saw mold. The pools aren’t any better.

I tried to stick it out because I enjoyed the workouts, but can’t keep forcing myself. Canceling your membership is a nightmare—you have to send a certified letter just to stop being charged! That’s shady and feels like a scam and shouldn’t even be legal. Never again. :/

This review is for the aquatics area: One of the biggest selling points for family’s with kids who get memberships at this location to find it closes early and it’s rarely open. They sell you on the paid lifeguards will open the slides daily from 12-6pm during the public school break.

There is rarely lifeguards on staff the full time 12-6pm, they close early, open late, or don’t open at all.

The woman’s whirlpool has been closed or drained so many times making it unavailable.

Ambassadors who give tour are just there to give tours and sell you on services they do not back. Hook line sinker!

Lamar the GM is conveniently unavailable and does not provide business contact information.

On a brighter note, The machines in the gym area seem to up to par, definitely need more of the Cadillac Pilate reformer machines. Taylor the new personal trainer is very attentive and kind!

Added pictures of the women’s whirlpool below. The nursing room in the family locker room does not have a working lock. The canisters of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are either removed or empty in the family area. The inside pool with the loud bell is gross and needs to cared by a professional chemical company.

Requiring a certified letter to cancel a membership is ridiculous and places an unneeded burden on the guest. Nobody is attempting to “fraudulently” cancel the gym memberships of others. 2024 Edit - This place is an absolute dumpster fire. We ended up rejoining in 2022 and it somehow got worse. The slides are never open, the inside pool is rarely open, grill is never open, bar is never open. The locker rooms are terrible and gross. They never returned the amenities from pre-covid, they started losing members and cut costs instead of making any improvements. It's a ghost town. I cannot say enough bad things about the quality of this establishment. We went to cancel AGAIN only to find out you have to drop off a letter IN PERSON or send CERTIFIED MAIL???? Who the hell has an in-person cancellation policy? TIMESHARES, THAT'S WHO. It's a borderline scam considering the higher all around quality of LifeTime, which is pretty close in proximity. (we are not members there)

But wait, don't think you're done yet buddy. After you cancel, you have to pay an entire additional months fees because why not.

AND if you've been a member for less than a year THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL $85 "administrative fee" because so many people bail after they see how truly pathetic the club is on the inside.

So many people are quitting that they make you pay to quit instead of making any improvements whatsoever in any of the glaring areas of issue. THAT IS HOW LITTLE THEY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.

tl/dr - GO TO LIFETIME FITNESS. ITS A LITTLE CHEAPER, IT IS 1000X NICER AND THEY AT LEAST PRETEND TO CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER/MEMBER. THEY SMILE AND DON'T HAVE THE DEAD EYED 1000YD STARE OF THESE POOR EMPLOYEES. THEY HAVE GIVEN UP. CORPORATE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEM, YOU, ME OR ANYTHING BUT FEES FEES AND MORE FEES.

sorry for yelling

Cant say enough good things about the staff.

2021 Edit - The above comment stays the same but the clubs decline has caused me to drop my membership. The staff is great, especially the VillaKids folks, but they still covid restrictions in place, haven't brought back all the services and classes that they had before even though corporate has promised us they will. The changes aren't happening and services/amenities/classes aren't worth the price point anymore. Luxury club prices, mid range value.

Great place, however the swimming classes can be a pain in the butt to get into. After I paid classes for my daughter it took them over a month to get back and set up the classes. I then purchased over $500 worth of swimming classes and although everything was going well. After my instructor had to go away for college, no one has called me to complete the remaining of my classes. I’ve called several times and all the reps does is “take the message”. It’s stupid how they ask for bank accounts to avoid payment delays and they take for ever to schedule these paid up front swimming classes.

Villa Sport Cypress is a state of the art gym. This gym is clean, has a large variety of equipment and spacious. I workout using free weights some days, as well as the machines, and sometimes I would go out to the turf field to run and push the weighted sled as well as flip the big tires. Sometimes I would go for a swim indoors or outdoors.

The staff is attentive. When I walked in and leave the person at the desk would always acknowledge me. The Villa Sport app is great. You can sign up to take classes. My favorite instructors were Kathy for body pump her class is very intense. The music selection and her encouraging words during the class help you through the class, she is also good with names. You will feel the aftermath leaving her class!!! Val & Neila both have a great body combat class. Your heart rate will get up fast, both is very encouraging and their music selection is great. You will be happy to go to your water bottle during a break!!! Both are good with names as well. The members of the gym is nice as well.

The bathrooms around the facility was clean. The men locker room is well maintained you will always have access to clean towels. The showers are clean. The sauna, steam room and whirlpool were good to go to for relaxation. Villa Sport is a great gym!!!

We joined two weeks ago and LOVE it. I cannot understand the negative reviews of this place, unless it’s unaffordable for your family, which I do get. To us, it’s a reasonable cost considering the services they offer and how much we use it.

We were members of the Y, and it was fine, but we wanted to upgrade in terms of classes and general offerings. I had negative experiences with Lifetime in another city and vowed to never belong there again. Lifetime’s restrictive contract was one major problem, and they lied to me when I signed up saying they would put my account on pause when I had surgery, and then it was a BATTLE when it did come down to it, even with doctors notes. I also think their family prices are absurd, for us at least because we only have our kids half time.

I only recently learned about Villa and knew we would join as soon as we walked in. Best parts: beautiful space. Great outdoor pools (2) and hot tubs (2 outside, 1 for only 18+), outside bar & food, 2 indoor pools, 3 indoor hot tubs, sauna & steam room, great classes (I wish some of the classes were longer and not all Les Mills, but I have already found a couple of teachers who are excellent—Jana for yoga roll and Malin), great equipment. Little touches like citrus water in the sauna. Another nice touch: no contract ($85 cancellation fee if you cancel in the 1st year—we won’t!—but seems fair).

Also, they offer a super fun summer camp—my son loved it!

Wish list:

-Classes are short, and sometimes teachers talk too much at the start, making classes 40 min. Yoga classes I’ve been to have always been a minimum of an hour, and even 1.5.
-It’s a crapshoot when the outside bar is open and when both the pool food bar and adult bar are stocked.
-It’s not hard to sign up, but it is hard to reach knowledgeable staff sometimes if you need to speak to someone, including in the kids area
-A shower in the sauna/steam area
-At 10, my son already struggles in the kids area, since the gym equipment is 13+; they need to re-think policies for 12yos, because the gym will be difficult for us when he refuses to come. (Pools are open to him though). The Y’s policy is “with an adult” and that seems reasonable.

One last sentence of support: my husband hates working out, and now he gets excited to come to Villa on his own, which I am so happy about!

We have been members on and off here. Whenever we come back, we are reminded why we leave.

One - The pools are filthy and there is constant trash on the ground. In one day, I got a used bandaid stuck to my foot and when I was swimming, I came in contact with a used ta*pon... I was done.

Two - I've only tried ordering from the concession area about 5 times but every single time they've been out of things. Not only that, but when I ordered a DR pepper after they told me they were out of most everything else, they served me a diet Dr pepper. It wasn't a big deal until they told me "yeah, we gave you diet because we're out of regular DR pepper".

Not sure what the deal is but the extra amenities are not worth the price for this place.

I usually don’t write too many reviews, but when something stands out that amazes me, I have to share and let others know.
Now, with that said, I am also hesitant on sharing this because I don’t want others to find this gem and then I don’t get to enjoy as well! Ha ha ha!
Here we go anyway….
Villa Sport is great! Love this place. They have any and every workout class you can imagine. They have 2 hour child care, a cafe with healthy food and regular kid friendly choices. They have a spa, nice showers, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, two pools, lots of fun events, etc the list goes on. It’s all wonderful. On top of all this, they give you a free consultation with a trainer when you sign up. You get a starting point with your BMI, weight, muscle, fat and where your strength and weakness points are. It’s a very thorough consultation!
I was lucky enough to get a gentleman named O’Shea Taft. And this is where the gem part comes into play. I’m sure there are other great trainers there, but he blows me away. Truly. He stands out and you can tell he has a heart for people. He puts his blood, sweat, and tears in for those who are under his care. I’ve seen him at work, and every single person he encounters is set apart and is tailored to what their own body needs. This is exactly what trainers are supposed to do, but not all of them do that in my past experience at other places. I was a number and a schedule to be handled. That is not the case with Shea. He takes his time and you are the center when it’s your time with him.
It’s been such a wonderful experience so far and I highly recommend this place and Shea!

Making the move from Lifetime to VILLA Sport was the best decision for myself and my husband. The entire facility is well maintained, the staff is wonderful and soo friendly, and the pickelball community is unmatched. The new courts are soo much fun and the friends we've made are for life. Josh and Lamar have gone above and beyond for our group!

This is the best fitness center I have ever joined. I’ve been a member since Jan 2021. I enjoy several aspects at Villa, weights, pool, pickleball (top talent to beginners play), and best of all the men’s spa! What members receive for monthly cost is amazing. Lastly staff are highly professional, cordial and responsive to any concerns. The facility is constantly well maintained which is a priority for any club I join. This is the spot. Headed there now.

After being a member for just over a year now, I can steadily see improvements being made to the facility over time. The new pickleball courts are great! But they definitely still have some improvements to make, ESPECIALLY with the lighting.

The pool areas are well maintained when the temperatures are regulated. The outdoor whirlpools/pools are a treat and the ease of access is nice to see for less mobile folks.

Our mother-in-law really enjoys the fitness classes with Angela and over the course of the last year has lost over 100 pounds! VillaSport makes it super easy to register for classes and while the class rotations do change semi-frequently, it seems to always be from guest feedback and attendance which correlate.

We utilize the VillaKids care to the fullest extent and our little girl always seems to have a good time!

Recently they replaced the carpet in all of the locker room areas and added new exercise equipment on the weight floor which is always nice to see!

I hope to continue to see these seemingly minor improvements going into the rest of this year and so on as they tend to always give back toward what we have invested through membership fees.

I have been a member of VillaSport since 2017 and have loved every minute of it. The staff are friendly and professional and will do everything to the best of their ability to make your experience at VillaSport the best it can possibly be. I am personally infatuated with pickleball, and the amenities Villa has created for this game is above and beyond. We have 4 new outdoor courts, and there are still plenty of opportunities to play indoors if that is what you prefer or if the weather dictates. I highly recommend Villa for all of your health needs- from the spa services, the top notch fitness classes, to the state of the art fitness center and, of course, the 4 pools (2 indoors and 2 outdoors). There are always family friendly events scheduled and rest assured there is something fun to do for every member of your family.

Villa Sports club in Cypress is absolutely AMAZING!!!

Been a member there for about 2 years and visit Villa daily!!

Their cafe, whirlpool within locker room, sports facility, workout equipment, pickleball courts, outdoor/indoor pools, and staff, makes my experience there amazing!

My wife and kids absolutely love their “villa kids” experience.

Sometimes I go to workout, play sports, answer work emails in their cafe, or just socialize with other member/friends!

Thanks to Villa, I’ve been able to get back in shape and make wonderful friends in the process!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU VILLA SPORTS!!!!

As much as I love this gym, recently I have become very upset with one of the trainers here named Nico. He has made very suggestive comments to me and other guests here at the gym and it as a male it makes me extremely uncomfortable when it happens. I don’t know if this has come to anyone else’s attention recently but it happens everyday

Great facility. Definitely worth the $ over other gyms in the area. Hot tub, sauna, and steam room are great. Has everything you need for lifting weights. A++

My son & I just met with Lilliana, "Lili" and she was simply wonderful. Her tour of the facility was educational and fun. She answered most of our questions in directed us to the correct personnel when she didn't know the answer. We will become members in large part because of Lily.

Very good Sauna, plenty of amenities like water for Sauna use. Food at Cafe was great. Seems expensive for members pricing, but they have plenty of activities to keep you moving so it almost makes the price worth it. Seems like a place that is good for workout and spa services. Probably not recommended if you wish to sign up for packages.

This gym needs to step it up. I have been a member for at least 3-4 years. Machines are constantly out of order and take weeks to repair, if not months. You will notice towels not being restocked, stretching area stinks as it’s not consistently cleaned, bathrooms also look gross. This gym is rapidly becoming an overpriced run down gym.

I went against what I read in the reviews about customer service and management and called and left messages more than several times for a couple of weeks before giving up. It’s down the street from me and I keep getting flyers so I thought I’d give it a shot, but since no one ever answers the phone or returns my call, I’ll just go somewhere else.

My husband & I joined Villa a little over a year ago. The group fitness instructors are fantastic. They remember us by name and cultivate a fun but motivating environment. We adore the body pump and trip instructors we have taken classes with: Kathy, Steve, Cassie, & Val.

The facilities are typically clean & stocked, but we try to avoid peak hours. The sauna and outdoor amenities are a blast.

High school students can get a little rowdy in the afternoons in the weightlifting area. If you want to speak on the phone with someone, you have to press the extension indicating that you’re interested in a membership, otherwise they will not pick up.
