About the Club

Wicked Core is a Lagree Fitness studio. The Lagree workout incorporates strength, resistance & cardio training not only in every workout but in every exercise taught. It’s a high intensity low impact 45 minute session that will leave your muscles, leaner, longer and stronger, creating noticeable tone and definition in the body. You can expect a full–body session that uses controlled movements on a MEGAFORMER™ M3S to work your slow and fast-twitch muscles to the point of failure. The workout is low impact, but high intensity by combining the elements of classical Pilates, cardio and weight training.

When I first tried Lagree, I only made it through one class and it was so tough, (it still is lol) but after my first class I gave up. At the time, I was struggling with my health and motivation. I had never weighed more than 135 pounds, but by 2022, I had reached 178lbs. After a traumatic experience in 2023, I started reflecting more on how I was caring for myself physically, emotionally, and mentally. I decided to give lagree another chance and I wanted to give up but a BIG reason I gave Lagree another shot was because of how supportive and motivating the instructors are. They create a space that feels safe and encouraging. It’s a true judgment-free zone. Sure, now and then you might get a look from someone else in class, but I’ve learned to tune it out. I don’t go for them I show up for me again and again!!

Now, I go to Lagree every Sunday and hit the gym Monday through Friday. With the support of my husband and this amazing studio, I’ve gone from 178 to 138. But more than just the number, I’ve gained strength, confidence, and a renewed connection to myself.
I’m also writing this review to give a Huge thank you and shout out to Andie and Ali their energy, encouragement, and classes have been a huge part of my journey. I haven’t tried the other instructors yet, but I know this whole team brings something special.

If you’re feeling stuck or intimidated, don’t let that stop you. Start where you are. Even if you fall off, you can always come back stronger, more determined, and more proud of yourself than you ever imagined.

I've been coming to Wicked Core for a year now - it's an amazing workout that can take you into every stage of life! I'd give 6 stars if I could! Low impact yet high intensity will make you strong while protecting your body for longevity. I can't recommend this enough! The instructors are all great and each offers a different style. Also there are a TON of class times to choose from, so it works well with a demanding schedule. You can always get a class in!

I’ve been coming to Lagree for a year with nearly 200 classes completed! I’m 65 and this fitness system has completely changed my body!! I’ve made workout buddies and it’s a wonderful village to have in my life. Deb and all of her instructors are very caring and watch to make sure your technique is correct to gain ultimate results while not getting injured. Everything is low impact and literally strengthens and sculpts your body. If you are looking for caring instructors and a way to strengthen and sculpt your body in a low impact way, I highly recommend Wicked Core!! Wicked sore and back for more.

I’m 3 weeks in and absolutely obsessed. I’ve taken classes from a lot of the instructors already and they are all great! They are super helpful and continuously walk around to make sure you’re doing the exercises with the correct form.

I enjoyed the actual exercise of the class. The instructor was not very welcoming. She seemed more engaged with other regulars When I told her it was good for me to come to Pilates after heart surgery. She was quick to correct me telling me it’s not a Pilates class, it’s a form of Pilates in a very snappy way. I wanted to ask her about possible membership but again she was not very welcoming and she didn’t encourage me come back again. So I think this will definitely be my first and last class here.

I had high hopes for this Pilates studio based on all the great things I had heard, but my first experience was incredibly disappointing. I purchased the “ten pass” package for $185 and booked a class, excited to start my journey. On the morning of my class, I encountered two car accidents that delayed my drive. Despite leaving early and driving 40 minutes to get there under normal circumstances, the accidents stretched my trip to nearly an hour. I arrived at 8:30—just as the class started—only to be told I couldn’t participate because I hadn’t arrived 15 minutes early.

While I understand the importance of being on time and respect their policies, the situation felt extremely unfair. I would have canceled the class when I realized I might not make it, but their strict policy requires cancellations at least 10 hours in advance—something that wasn’t possible with such an unexpected delay. To make matters worse, they refused to refund me for the package I purchased, citing their policy. Unfortunately, this means I’m losing money because I refuse to go back somewhere that doesn’t consider my holistic health. As a new client, I expected a little more understanding or flexibility under these circumstances. I wasn’t offered any alternatives, such as staying to observe the class (which there was room for me to do), and the only option given was to book another session and come back—after such a long and stressful trip.

Health isn’t just about physical fitness—it’s also about mental and emotional well-being. After this experience, I left feeling dismissed, disrespected, and like my health journey didn’t matter to them. For a business that is supposed to support people on their path to wellness, this felt like the exact opposite.

I would not encourage anyone to start their Pilates journey here. There are better studios with more understanding staff who recognize that life happens. This is not a company that values its clients’ health journeys, and it’s not something anyone should want to be associated with.

Took my first Lagree fitness class here at Wicked Core as a bday gift from my best friend and I’m hooked. I immediately felt as though I was missing this my whole fitness journey. Staff is really nice and we have a really great environment. They correct you whenever you need to correct your form to ensure you’re doing the exercises properly and getting the tension you need in whatever muscle you’re working on during class. I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent visit. This was my first and, unfortunately, my last time at your facility. I had an appointment at 4:00 PM after purchasing a 2-class package. Despite driving through a storm, I arrived at 4:00 PM, found parking within two minutes, and entered the building shortly after. As I was pulling in, I saw another customer arrive just as late as I did.

However, when I walked in, I was immediately informed by “Trish” that I would not be allowed to participate in the class because I was required to be there 10 minutes early. I was further told that I would not receive a refund because the class was “technically used.” She mentioned needing to speak to her boss regarding the refund, only to claim moments later that she was the boss, which left me confused.

To add to my confusion, I watched the other person who arrived at nearly the same time as I did proceed with the class while I was turned away. If there is a strict 3-minute late policy, I don’t understand why it was only enforced in my case.

I would appreciate clarification on this matter and hope to hear from you soon.

Love this studio , as I am a newbie when it comes to lagree classes I can sometimes get confused on certain movements. But all the instructors are always so nice , helpful and have never called me out or made me feel bad for not getting the hang of it the first time . I had been wanting to try Wicked Core for at least a couple years since I first learned about them. I finally took the leap and bought a 2 week pass that quickly turned into a monthly unlimited membership as I was so excited to keep it going! As a 1 year postpartum mom I can not think of a better way to regain strength and balance and get back in shape! After two knee surgeries this is such an amazing workout that will challenge even the toughest athletes but simple enough that I jumped right in and with awesome instructors got through my first class with no prior experience. I payed for my first class. Which is absurd, since most fitness studios offer one week or a week free class, this shows that the company’s guarantee satisfaction . I came in the studio, and the instructor asked if I had the appropriate socks which I was not aware and said no . If you’re going to CHARGE new members $21 for socks, please advise us ahead. I should’ve walked away, so in total for a mediocre class- I payed $50 ish . I left halfway, didn’t like it. But hey- I gave them my money and time so at least they’re content on their end. I’d like a refund since it was a flat out unsatisfied experience- which is rare for me.
Go check out athelete on spring Stuebner, or F45 on Creekside. These gyms are amazing and yes I workout out at both, but I’d like to open minded and try new things since I’m fitness oriented .

I have anxiety and can't deal with GYM environment. Wicked Core is totally different. I feel safe and at home. The ambiance overall is calming, I don't get the sensory overload. The instructors are great and definitely becoming a member. You work your entire body and trust me, you will be shaking and that is great!

I am so glad I gave Wicked Core a try...I LOVE it. I have tried kickboxing, Zumba, Running, Pure Barre, Soul Cycle, etc....and Wicked Core in my personal opinion is the BEST. High intensity-low impact on a moving transformer WITH resistance. The 1st couple of classes are a learning curve, but once you get it, its on!
All of the instructors are good, but Tandi is awesome...! She really motivates- she will tell you "get there, get there, yes you can, you got this." She empowers and corrects form the entire class. I will definitely be back....!! :)

If you are looking for a workout you can do for the rest of your life and not have to worry about injuring yourself, look no further! The workouts never get easy or boring, you just get stronger! The atmosphere is great and Andi is an amazing instructor. What I don’t like is that if you have a medical emergency or will be out for some weeks you can’t pause or hold your classes remaining on your pass. You just lose the classes and in essence lose money, I think a pause or freeze feature needs to be added.

As an former runner, strength training, nutrition and muscle building were top priority for me. But after a motor vehicle accident and surgery I was lethargic, losing muscle, and lacked the motivation to workout again. But the tricky part was finding a workout that would not cause me further pain, and still would provide me an amazing workout without pain. I am so glad I gave this a try. I feel great. The instructors are amazing, very knowledgeable, they are there to help you do the motions properly. I have not sweated that much since my distance running days. Thanks Wicked Core and staff.

Update....3 years in, down 40 pounds, gained 15 in muscle. This is no longer just my daily workout, it's a huge part of my daily routine.

Working out is not something I’ve ever looked forward to in my life but as I’m starting to climb in age I decided it’s time to do something. I tried a HITT exercise, not for me. Then I found Wicked Core, decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did. I had never heard of lagree before and really didn’t know what to expect but they marketed it as a low impact and that had me curious. I was a ball of nerves walking into my first beginners class but Deb was so nice and supportive, as well as all the other instructors. The workout is hard, you will get the shakes and you will feel sore and you’ll wonder why the hell did I sign up for this during the exercise but the way you’ll feel after those 45 minutes is all worth it… I now get excited and look forward to every class.

Wicked Core has been a fantastic workout for me. My fitness level was as low as it’s been in a long time because I wasn’t motivated. Working a desk job where I stare at a screen was giving me slumped shoulders and a stooped back. And my knees give me trouble, which gave me an excuse to stay on the couch. Three months at Wicked Core has made a noticeable improvement on my fitness, my posture and my motivation. The low-impact classes are good for my knees. The workout is challenging and scalable, so it will still be challenging months or years from now. And the instructor I’ve worked with has been top notch. If you’re looking to get in shape or for a new fitness challenge, give it a shot.

I just joined a couple of weeks ago and I am not a person that is in shape by any means or someone who enjoys working out. This class has definitely changed my outlook on workouts and I actually do enjoy it! Yes, it's hard but I am a beginner and am learning and its tough but it's worth it. I have worked with 3 different instructors so far and each of them have been amazing. This is a class that will leave your body shaking!!! It's a good shake though, I feel energized and ready to tackle my day! I look forward to more classes and to reaching my small goals :)

Over the past 10 years, I have tried the normal gym routine where I would go and try to workout by myself with no success. Which just made me give up and waste money on gym fees. 2021 I decided for the first time. I’m going I make a change. Sign up for Wicked Core and make a commitment to myself to not miss a class. The classes are challenging because I have not worked out in years and I have been working from home for the last year. But, they are great. The trainers are great. Ali, Deb, and Amanda have been very helpful and patient with me. I completed my 5th class today, and I’m very proud of myself. Looking forward to each and every class.

Fabulous workout! Started about 3 weeks ago and it has turned into a "can't wait for my next class" type of class! Great workout that is challenging and fun!. I LOVE Wicked! I’ve always had a hard time finding exercise I love, but this is it for me. I love that you get strength and cardio at the same time. Love the owner also. She’s a great role model for Wicked. If you need the accountability, guidance and motivation, you’ll get it in every class. Kind of expensive, but it’s worth it. Plus, they’re pretty consistently doing promotions and discounts for classes.

If you are looking for full body, low joints impact, yet challenging workout, you found it! I have been using this studio for almost a year now and see the difference. I can't believe I'm hooked on working out! I'd gone through numerous personal trainers and fitness gyms yet had not actually consistently worked out in over a decade. Deb and her girls have made it so fun and worth sticking with! The workouts themselves are killer! I'm pleasantly sore in places I didn't even know I could be sore. After having neck surgery in November of last year I needed to try something more low impact. I am definitely noticing the difference especially in my strength. PROS: A full schedule with lots of classes every day of the week to choose from. Lagree machines are super high end. All the trainers are great, each one with its own style but they all keep the class fun and effective. Facility is perfect, good air conditioning and fans (even for Texas in August). Exercises are effective and do not stress your joints. CONS: It may be difficult to get a class on the peak times because spaces are limited to the number of Lagree machines ( this is not a problem with the fitness studio, but rather with the Lagree method).

Outstanding full-body workout. Excellent instructors. Great facility. I do all different types of workouts: Weights, swimming, boot camps, cycling. This one is low impact but intense, and I've seen results with it that I haven't with my other workouts. My lower abs and glutes have definitely firmed up and lifted since starting this workout.

Wicked Core provides one of the best workouts I have ever experienced. I have worked out for many years with weights and a dip machine in my garage. In April of 2017, my wife and I discovered Wicked Core and The Megaformer Machine. After one year of Wicked Core, I sold my weight machine and free weights, and we invested our time and energy getting into WICKED shape. My wife and I have experienced amazing results. We are leaner, stronger, and mentally sharper. We have both lost 15 pounds and increased our muscle size and definition.

I have tried and quit more exercise programs than I can count and quickly would lose interest. They require so much of my time that I can't fit it in to my schedule, I don’t like them or I don’t see results and end up quitting. I joined Wicked Core for a few reasons, it had a great introductory special that gave me the opportunity to give it a try and I was looking for an exercise regimen that I would love and stick with for the long term and it had a name that made me think they meant business. Who doesn’t want a wicked core, right?
I find the staff at Wicked Core to be extremely knowledgeable and truly interested my success. The sessions are intense and well thought-out. The instructors go above and beyond to meet my needs and pushes me forward to be my best. Throughout class the instructor will watch and correct my position so not to injure myself and get the most of the exercise. And reminds me why it is important to do the correct form and how to achieve the small muscle shake. I find myself looking forward to my classes and feel like the routines are continually changing so it is never boring. I feel so much better, stronger, and have much more stamina. I would encourage everyone interested in exercising to come and try it out. They’ll see a great difference in their muscle tone and strength. Your first class will be really hard but you’ll get through it, by your tenth class you will be hooked. Every class will be challenging but nothing, worth anything, is easy. And you most definitely worth it.

The best full body workout that I have ever done. The class is intense, but low impact and targets all the muscle groups. I have always had lower back problems, but after taking these classes, I don't have any back pain at all. The studio is beautiful and the instructors are great. Fantastic facility! Great concept for physical fitness and it leaves you absolutely exhausted after 45 minutes. What a wonderful alternative to those high impact Crossfit exercises that are known to cause injuries. And the staff is absolutely wonderful! I will definitely go back there time and time again!

Today was my first class at Wicked Core, and I had an incredible experience! The fitness studio itself is amazing - it's so classy and cool looking that you feel like you're in a fancy club, not a workout place! The owner, Deb, was there to greet me and all other first time guests. My instructor, Ali, was awesome - she's motivating and encouraging, and helped me with my form. As a bonus, another regular instructor, Sathish, was in the class as well and he demonstrated the proper form for each move, which was very helpful. This unique concept of using the mega former to target all muscle groups and especially your core has already improved my strength and muscle tone after just 5 classes!
