Ben Witte is simply the finest personal trainer I could imagine existing in San Antonio. From my first session where we discussed my goals and his strategy to quickly completing a baseline body analysis we hit the ground running. Three months later, I feel stronger than I have in easily 25 years. His private gym has all the equipment you could possibly imagine and many innovative things I’ve never even heard of that make workouts new and challenging every time I show up.

I have been with Ben for almost 3 months now and I call him lovingly my sadist because he pushes me so hard. I go home knowing I have had a hard work out and feel it the next day. He pushes you to the point where you think you can’t go, but he sure does. He knows how much I HATE to workout, but he makes the time in the gym go quickly.
Ben also does check-ins with his clients to ensure they’re okay and wants the communication with them. He’s not someone who only works with you in the gym. He cares about his clients both in and outside of his gym. If you’re looking for someone who cares about working on the whole body- this is your guy!

Reached out to Wittfit Health about 3 months ago after being in a fitness rut. Ben listened to my health concerns, created a plan, and we immediately started working out twice a week. In the last 3 months, I was able to gain muscle, lose fat, and regain a fitness routine in both the gym and at home. While I may not be able to make it all the time, I love being able to come when my schedule allows! After having my son, I had little to no motivation to workout until I started at WittFit. I can’t recommend Wittfit Health enough. If you are considering switching trainers or starting from scratch you need to consider Ben and this gym.
Pros:
- I have multiple injuries that has made exercise somewhat scary for me. Ben helps you listen to your body then customizes the exercises to find ways that strengthen while preventing injuries from getting worse.
- Ben factors in and helps you manage multiple aspects of your fitness from exercise to diet to your mental headspace. He helps you hold yourself accountable in a supportive but not aggressive way.
- the gym itself is stacked with really nice equipment that’s well maintained and spotlessly cleaned. If it’s not there then you probably don’t need it.
- the vibe in the gym is very good. Most days just a few others working out. It’s a very safe place to be better for yourself, especially if you normally get anxious working out in front of others.
Cons:
- You can find cheaper places to work out. But when you consider the value you get (see above) it’s a no brainer. SO much better than any other place I’ve been, some of which are much more expensive.
Long story short… if you’re looking to make an investment in yourself and don’t want to get lost in one of the big chain gyms, this is the place for you.

Ben is amazing. I have been going to trainers at Lifetime for over 10 years and I have stopped going due to COVID-19. I am so glad I found Ben and his studio. His studio is extremely clean and has all the equipment that I need. I go at 5:30 am and he is so well organized and already has my training session planned. With other trainers I sometimes felt that they were winging it because they were still waking up. However, Ben has my session all planned out and pushes me. He knows my potential and doesn't let me slack off. I have never skipped a class because I wanted to sleep in. He makes it that enjoyable for me to want to be pushed that early in the morning.

I utilize the open gym hours and Ben sends daily workouts through a True Coach app. It allows him to see my progress outside my normal personal sessions. I would highly recommend Ben. His professionalism and knowledge are top notch. Best of all, he is a great supporter and motivator!

I’ve been training with Ben now for almost a year and a half and he has not only helped me get physically stronger and in shape but has also helped me with my nutrition.
