Please do a favor and do not go I never leave reviews but I kinda had to so this place is good for when you got the basics down but if your beginner they are so rude they ignore you and some coaches are rarely nice but they were so mean to my daughter giving her dirty looks avoiding her and not helping my daughter was extr happy to go she loved cheer but they broke it she wants nothing to do with cheer now. She said they didn’t even try helping only one coach I don’t know his name but thank you to him.

As someone who genuinely loves cheer and came in with a Level 6 Worlds background—I was shocked by how dismissive and gatekeeping this gym truly is.

I reached out with genuine questions before tryouts, only to receive a cold, copy-paste response making it clear that unless I already tumbled at a Level 6/7 elite level, I wasn’t even worth considering. No conversation, no evaluation, no acknowledgment of my experience or strengths.

This isn’t a program that builds athletes. It’s one that cherry-picks finished products and leaves everyone else behind. If you’re not an already elite 10/10 perfect athlete they can market right out the box, or part of their inner circle, don’t expect a fair shot here. I’ve cheered at other gyms where coaches invested in their athletes—this is not one of them.

Woodlands Elite markets itself as a top-tier gym, but it felt more like a popularity contest than a coaching environment. If you’re looking for development, support, or real growth—look elsewhere.

5 Stars for Woodlands Elite at Oak Ridge location!!! This is the main WE location with the BEST coaches. You will want to come here if you want your child to excel in Cheerleading on a competitive level. So far, all my experiences have been fantastic! The facility is amazing and all the staff have been wonderful. I am so impressed!

My 5 year old daughter is enrolled in Tiny Show Team (Troopers), Tumbling, and Flyer Class. She loves it so much and look forward to going to all her classes every week. :) Shout out to her 4 coaches CJ, Sydney, Brynlee and Kennedy from the Trooper team for being awesome leaders and holding down the group. They are doing a great job keeping the little girls together and working on their cheer forms. It can be challenging at this age group but they do it so well.

Highly recommend and do take advantage of the private lessons with CJ. My daughter learned so much from CJ from just one hour of specific skills from different areas of cheerleading. Impressive!!

Beginner Tumbling with Dre S. was amazing! Luckily, with just a short amount of time; my daughter excelled to the Front and back walker class within weeks of enrollment. Coach Dre S. is a great coach and my daughter learned so much and very quickly from his class. It shows with results. :)

We just started Flyer Class with Kirsten and it has been great so far. I can see the improvements already with body control, strength and flexibility. I feel like for any beginners; this is a great class to take to improve in balance, strength and conditioning.

Lastly, having a birthday party at Woodlands Elite is always a great idea! ;) It is an awesome place for a "CHEER" theme birthday. They have great package deals with 1 month free tumbling for the birthday child and comes with free goodie bags for the party kiddos. We were lucky to have Coach Wes, Ariana and Tyson to help out with the party entertainment (which includes Cheer, Tumbling and Games). Thank you for making sure we had a great celebration and being so accommodating!! You guys rock :)

I was there for 2 years I was on 2 teams and they body shamed me, they bullied me for having white spots, and they got mad at me for marking the rutein with a hurt finger. They have been nothing but rude to me the whole time , woodlands elite oak ridge is not it any other woodlands elite is good! But PA is the way to go! Is your looking for a body shaming place go to WE 🖤

Just all around NO, took my daughter to the class they offer before signing up and watched not 1 but 2 instructors lose their patience with my daughter. As a mother it was very frustrating to hold my composer watching the second instructor look at my TODDLER side ways multiple times. My child has never been in any type of child care and is a only child so isn’t around Children very much, not to mention she is bilingual. And just seeing all these blondes and brunettes walk around with their privilege on their sleeves simply showed me that they are 1 not equipped to deal with all children, and 2 definitely not equipped to deal with bilingual children. You really need more diversity in that “gym” so happy we didn’t join this gym and checked out and signed up a different one 10 mins after leaving that place.

I decided to go to woodlands and try out there. I met this coach name Kevin Tonner and he was so rude. He commented about my weight, how i should lose weight, and it made me feel bad about myself. I decided to try a new gym and i love it there even though its small. Woodlands elite is horrible

my 11 year old daughter goes here and loves it she was a level 7 gymnast and quit her gymnastic years due to abusive coaches. at woodlands elite it is a positive interment and they have winners attitudes and the coaches treat the kids with love and push them to be there best. some of our favorite coaches are Tara,Dee, and Jared

My older daughter has played elite softball for years. If I ask any coach to look for technical issues they are all over it. I kept asking for someone to evaluate my daughter and why she is having so much pain in her knee. Assuming it is technical and have her coach correct the issue or refer her to physician. 4 weeks and could not get a response from coach Kevin Tonner. Her father finally walked her to the coach for an evaluation. Never heard a word back. They are absolutely rude and uncaring about their athletes which i hear a lot about cheer coaches

I use to go here a couple years ago just for prep and tumbling 3x a week and my aunt and I were harassed by a white privileged mom for taking a picture because she thought we were stealing routines and she harassed us and the gym owner and manager came up to us and was on her side even though we had deleted the picture already. If your a minority I wouldn’t suggest coming here

unsportsmanlike and harassing gym. Director on social media bullying underage ex-athletes and allows for unsportsmanlike behavior at competitions definitely stay away from this program.

Honestly don't even want to give this place one star at all. My daughter who is THREE went to the free trial class for tiny tumblers. She has never been in daycare and has never been away from me. She was very nervous to attend but was still excited about going. At her first real class after I payed the money and signed her up, my daughter was still a little bit nervous but did some of the stations with the coach and I thought she was doing so much better! Then at the end of the class the teacher told me she should probably go to preschool first or I should find a mommy and me class for her. It was her FIRST real class!!! And she is THREE!!! The coach obviously has never dealt with kids who are not experienced in a school like setting. So make sure your three year old knows how to sit Indian style and doesn't show signs of nervousness before going to this class or they'll literally kick you out! Oh and they took TWO days to refund me my money, but when I signed up took it in a matter of seconds! This place is a joke!

Young instructor's, just wanted to play and act silly while my kid just stood there. Always a different instructor. When I wanted to stop the class, nobody cared, asked why. I'm so happy to say that customer service is #1 at our business.
