We drove all the way from Pearland to Spring to experience this facility — after all, it has the GOAT’s name on it, and we want the best for our daughter. Unfortunately, it was not worth the trip. The overall vibe was unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. Coaches didn’t greet us or introduce themselves, and no one even asked our child’s name before jumping straight into the class. Throughout the class, the coach barely demonstrated the various tasks she wanted TODDLERS to complete. She was essentially looking down at the tablet the whole time instead of scanning the class and providing her full attention.

The front desk staff didn’t look up from her phone to acknowledge us — we actually had to greet her. Online it says new families receive a facility tour, but that never happened either. For a place with such a big reputation, the experience felt very lackluster. We really wanted to like it here. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Some of the instructors just stand by and watch the kids, or they focus on just one or two, leaving the rest to goof off. I saw this happen from a vantage point, and it was painful to watch. It feels more like a daycare than a proper training session. We're paying for this—every child should get the chance to be coached and fully engaged.

Please do your research and steer away from here. There are wayyyy better facilities than the one with the GOATS name on it. Initially when pulling into the facility you are blown away at how big and nice it looks….then you walk in. You’re greeted to cold attitudes and zero eye contact. You start to walk around and realize this place hasn’t been cleaned in years. A literal inch of dust on every surface, there hasn’t been soap in the bathroom for months (yes the front desk has been informed many times). We started back in April and the same dried boogers and smeared poop have been on the stalls the whole time. Be prepared to sweat the hours you are there just watching your kid because the air conditioning doesn’t like to work upstairs and they have zero urgency to take care of it. Within the first month our tuition was raised then I receive an email informing parents that volunteer work is now mandatory for all meets and if you can’t volunteer you will be paying $100-$350 EXTRA that weekend to pay them for the “VOLUNTEER” work you could not do. I was told by the front desk it’s usually 3-4hrs of work per meet but a mom laughs and tells me you’re lucky if you’re done after 7hrs!!!!! The lack of communication from the coaches or front desk is actually laughable. You wait and wait to hear from anyone after reaching out and get nothing so naturally you call the front desk and all they can tell you is “email the coach”. K thanks did that, that’s why I’m now trying to start from the bottom. I stopped trying to contact the coaches or front desk with questions for my child’s level 2 competitions and just stuck with the other moms. They were the only reason you get any answers and those answers are just off of what they dealt with the year prior so might not even be the case for the upcoming seasons. It’s odd the entire time you’re watching your kid parents are complaining about how horrible the coach’s and the experience is but yet continue to keep dishing out thousands of dollars simply because of the name that’s backing the gym.

Coaches are great!! But as soon as an organization starts calling forced labor , “volunteer” work. Thats not cool. & because they couldnt gather enough actual volunteers to work all their events they “revised” the hamdbook 1mnth before competitions begin so that parents can “opt out” of volunteering all for $100 per competition. And $350 for the last comp. Of the year.
SO IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU DONT VOLUNTEER (for 4-5 hr shifts, from parents i hear 7-8hr shifts) THEY CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT $100..

While observing my child in the parental viewing area. I watched, time after time, the inconsiderate staff walk in the middle of the vault runway. Potential for causing an injury. Upon bringing my concerns to the front office staff. I was met with hostility more often than not.

This is a terrible place to send your child and please don't be fooled by the "Biles" name. We've been with the gym for 2 years now and the coaches don't respond to emails nor does management. Furthermore, there were rumors that coaches were being fired for body shaming the children. The thing that really put a bad taste in our mouths about the facility is that we brought our child for a team photoshoot and when we came to pick her up (on time) all the doors were locked, there were no cars in the parking lot, and no staff to respond to our continuous knocks on the door for 20 minutes. Michelle and coach Sophie claimed that it was only "16" minutes of waiting and nothing to worry about. This was extremely distressing as a parent and we will not be sending our child back to this gym unless we receive an apology for our grievances.

There is something very wrong with the people at WCC. Be forewarned! It was our first experience competing at this gym so we were unaware of all of their "rules." Rules that they enforce without empathy and with thuggish aggression. We pay fees to compete in gymnastics and did not appreciate the way we were treated at all. Our daughters will absolutely never compete in this gym again. That’s 1 meet we will skip!

World Champions Center has a very determined coaching team. The coaches are well versed in what they need to teach the gymnasts and do so in a way that is positively effective! Averie does an outstanding job coaching her teams to be successful! 😊 Very pleased with what she brings to the coaching staff!

Please consider looking elsewhere.
We live nearby and previously enrolled our daughters at this gym. Unfortunately, we experienced several ongoing issues with the front desk staff and a general lack of professionalism throughout the facility.

While the use of Simone Biles’ name has undoubtedly helped the gym gain popularity, the full picture behind the business tells a different story. It's important to look beyond the name and evaluate the environment and values being promoted.

After learning more about Simone Biles’ public views on women athletes—and considering that she and her family own and operate this gym—I can no longer support this business or its leadership.

There are many other outstanding gyms in the area that uplift and truly support women in sports.

I proudly support women athletes.

I live nearby and had planned on getting my little girl into gymnastics here as I was a gymnast when I was younger and loved it. After seeing that they support men in women’s sports my child will never step foot in this gym! Clearly she wouldn’t be safe. If you care about your little girl at all I’d encourage you to go elsewhere!

The political nature of the gym was disheartening. I feel that girls are not protected and may face insulting ridicule from the instructors if they don't act in accordance with the political views of the instructors. I will not allow my daughter to belong to such an organization.

It’s truly disappointing that such a beautiful facility is overshadowed by unprofessional front desk staff and subpar coaching. For the amount we pay to be on team, we expected a far higher standard of support, development, and communication. Unfortunately, the coaching does not seem to be preparing athletes to be competitive—even within Texas, our girls struggle to hold their ground against similarly ranked teams.

This gym has all the potential in the world, but the culture and coaching need serious improvement. Until there’s a shift in priorities and leadership, I cannot recommend WCC to serious gymnasts or their families.

Have you ever been at any type of business and wanted to offer constructive criticism or even share a small complaint, but know based on how the staff acts, that they will either get defensive or not take you seriously? That’s how this place is. The staff isn’t necessarily flat out rude, but they’re also not all that friendly. We had my 5 year old daughter in a beginner’s class for a few months. After most of the girls in her class leveled up, she stayed behind (she wasn’t ready, we knew that and didn’t have any issues with that) and was then in a smaller class with 3 other girls. She started getting distracted easier. After one terrible class where she was not listening, her coach had a stern talk with her, and I got onto her also. My daughter was the youngest in the class and naturally has a lot of energy. The next class, she was so much better, but the one after that, she got distracted again and was chatting more. It frustrated her coach. He was noticeably upset. He was so upset that he didn’t even come out with the girls after the class. I could see him aggressively putting the gymnastic mats back. At first, I was frustrated with my daughter, but after her being too uncomfortable to tell me what her coach said and remembering that she’s 5, the youngest kid in the class, and that we didn’t sign up to do this competitively (which I shared with the coach before), I thought this was ridiculous. If she’s not mature enough to be in a class with older kids who may be trying to do this competitively, tell me we should switch classes. Don’t allow yourself to get that angry at a 5 year old, who’s just there to have fun and learn. We have our daughter signed up in multiple other activities (soccer, ninja class, swimming and rock climbing), and we haven’t had this type of experience in any of those. I know many people go here hoping to have an Olympian, we’re not. That day, I requested to have her withdrawn from the class and even sent the coach cookies to say thank you and apologize for how stressful the class had been. The request to withdraw her was accepted pretty quickly without anyone reaching out and I never even got a thank you for the cookies. This place could be a 5 star if owners cared more about customer experience and service. Many people complain about the front desk and staff, and it's true they're terrible, but a culture is built by those in charge. Simone is awesome, what she and her family have done is awesome from the Olympic stand point. However, every single time I've seen the owner walk in, she's not even smiling. If she doesn't even look all that happy to be there, how can we expect their staff to smile and be happy to be there. They should find people who love helping and serving people to run this and just collect their monthly checks. They'd probably make more money that way. Advice they likely won't take.

My three year old went here for a few months but the coaches never spoke with us, we never knew their names, they weren’t engaging with our daughter, she always had to go up to them to get their attention when she needed help doing a move. The final straw for me was when my three year old asked the coach to clean her glasses and the coach responded with “I don’t clean glasses, I’m a coach”…I would never expect them to clean her glasses but she didn’t need to be demeaning to a 3 year old. She could have responded with something like well let’s find your parent and they can help you with that. Instead she got an attitude with a three year old and my daughter didn’t get her glasses cleaned, which were probably just foggy. They just aren’t caring at all. We felt like we were just a number. My husband literally said the only time an employee ever spoke with him was when he went to the front desk and asked for the WiFi information. Just not happy with the experience at all.

I am honestly disappointed in this place. My daughter has been there for over 4 months now and she has been doing the same things over and over again. I don’t see the coaches paying attention to detail on the kid to help them improve if there is anything they need to work on. Never received a review of how the kid is doing. One day was evaluation day and the coaches did the test and never came back to the parents about the review. My daughter is literally asking me if they are going to the same things again every week?

Lord, why didn't I read the reviews before taking my daughter here. I'm so glad I took her for the holiday 1/2 day camp because if I'd have signed her up for a membership, I'd be pissed. We already had to get up early because the camp was from 8am-12pm. Although I have to facilities near my home, I chose this one because of the history. 12-27-24.. walk in..the young lady at the desk greeted us and told us to go upstairs. But when we got up there..no one was out there manning the sign in sheets. So if you weren't smart enough to just find your child's name and sign her in, you'd be lost. Go in the room..no GM..Hello..Welcome..NOTHING.. I said..GM..silence..I repeated myself, GM..oh GM they chimed in. Then we're just standing there. I said sooo do she just walk in, what is she supposed to do. Oh just put your stuff over there in the cubey. Because I was working, I kissed my daughter and said I'd see her at 12pm. Come back at 12pm, again no nothing. I'm just standing there. A guy playing a big connect 4 with a child finally looks up, parent pick up? Yes.. My baby just so happened looks up and sees me. There was no, thank you for coming..we did this..she did that..see you again..NOTHING!! The icing on the cake was, my daughter asked me could she get a cookie, they had snacks on the table. I said yes, but when she comes back out, no cookie. I said what happened, she said they told her no. I was done then.. A Cookie??? I don't know who this gym really belongs to, but I wouldn't have ANY of these rude folks representing me. And by the years and months of these reviews, this is their norm. I'm so disappointed in this place. And she was supposed upset when I told her she wasn't going back. I don't spend my money with these type of people who don't even have the common curtesy to acknowledge you or communicate with you. I definitely wouldn't have my name attached to it. Never again. The 1 star is for my baby, because although the folks were rude as hell, she said she had fun.

I went to World Champions Centre to watch my younger sister at her District Qualifying gymnastics competition and I have never had such a horrible experience at a venue. The atmosphere was depressing and quiet. I didn't even know if I was allowed to cheer or clap at all. If World Champions Centre is holding out to be a "Champions" gym they are sadly mistaken. It is such a farce to use a last name that has been to the Olympics to entice children and their unsuspecting parents to join what they hope is a place to learn and grow. Instead, what you get is a slew of staff that acts like they can't stand their jobs and are taking it out on all of the parents and children there. I will never go back there.

My daughter is a 2 time Maryland state champion and we recently moved here. We showed up thinking we would learn about the program. The front staff was really rude hardly engaged us. We were advised to send the coach an email to inquire about competing teams. We never got a response , we followed up with several phone calls and emails no ever responded. The front desk advised us that it’s at the discretion of the coach pretty much who he entertains to join their program. Very unprofessional and disappointing.

If I could give a zero star! I don’t even know where to start. The people are rude. The people who are training the kids don’t even know what they’re doing and are looking at instructions from their phone. Air conditioning does not work and it smells like sweat and mold so it makes it worse. When you ask them about the air in the process of being fixed, butt after months no results. Disappointed, I expected better not my expectations. Seems as if they only care about the money canceled my account after 1 month and they tried to charge me for another month when she did not attend ! Believe the reviews stay away

My son did not have a good experience. We signed up for a trial and upon arriving I went to the front desk to see where we needed to go and the girls at the front desk just looked at me and either looked away or continued to talk. No greeting, nothing. My son enjoyed his first lesson, however, the class filled up so I chose another day with different instructors. The first day the instructors showed them what to do one time and then talked to each other basically the entire time, so my son was kind of lost and didn’t know what to do. The other kids had been there before and pretty much knew what to do and my son needed more direction which didn’t happen. The second time he went there was only one instructor so once again, not enough instruction for my son who is new. They let the kids pick out which area they want to go to and my son was too slow each time I guess so he never got his choice and then they didn’t even rotate each kid in all the different areas so needless to say he once again left upset. It also seemed like the coaches paid more attention to certain kids vs others. Very disappointing. This place has bad customer service and their programs lack organization. Based off of the other reviews coaches come and go constantly as well.

I had my 3 year old in the toddler class and it was too structured and serious for his 3 year old attention span. They told me multiple times he doesn’t listen well and so I pulled him from the class. If you have a unicorn 3 year old who listens well then take them here for gymnastics. We were just looking for something fun to do, but WCC is more targeted towards serious competitors starting at an early age.

My daughter was bullied once she was asked to join hot shots. The behavior of the kids seemed to get worse and once i wanted to pull my daughter they tried to “remedy” the situation by suggesting we move my daughter back down a team or to a “less competitive” team. They said those little girls did gymnastics their whole life and I had to remind them that my child also had done gymnastics since she was 1 1/2 years old. My daughter LOVES gymnastics and instead of actually punishing the kids they planned on still moving them up to team and said my daughter could come back to hot shots when those girls moved up so she wouldn’t have to deal with bullying. When it got closer to those girls moving up, I texted the coach (Aminah) and asked if my daughter would be able to come back like they said and was told that she would have to see if there would be an open spot. So she in fact was not able to go back to hot shots after that being the “solution” that was suggested.

My daughter and I was so excited to give this gym a try especially since it owned by Simone Biles. Our first interaction upon arriving, was very cold. Informed them that we arrived for a trial session…front desk barely made any eye contact and pointed where near the hall/maze of where our instructor would be. No name no anything…just the door I needed to go to. She didn’t explain how the trial session will go and what to expect after the session. Found myself at the front desk asking for guidance on signing up after we completed our initial session, and they were very cold, flat, and to the point. Felt like you couldn’t ask many questions to clarify operations, policy and procedures. Despite my gut instinct, I signed my daughter up because she was really excited to join. Throughout our entire membership the trainer has been great but I’ve heard from other parents about trainers coming and going. The last straw was the management lack of consideration of informing parents of closures due to holidays. The dates of Holidays don’t change….why are we only given a weeks notice of closures and not allowed makeup sessions (but charged full price). We are very busy parents and closures for holidays should be posted throughout the facility not only via email and certainly not only given notice a week before. Believe the negative reviews…it’s all about money.

She loves the class and is so inspired by watching the bigger kids and professionals practice. Coach Jenny is both friendly and firm. She allows the kids to have a great time while also ensuring that they’re working hard & developing each skill. This started off as a fun hobby, but now she wants to become a professional gymnast. I truly believe that this dream wouldn’t have been realized without her being in an environment surrounded by such passionate athletes. That’s just something that you can’t get at any other facility! We used to love this place but our today's experience was extremely negative. What we like: convenient location, easy access to get in and out, some variety of classes and activities. What we don't like: Bad communication, terrible customer support and the feeling that they only here to make money. Our experience was that we signed up for a class on Sat mornings, they had events for two Saturdays back to back, informing by email, and offering makeup classes but of course at days and times not convenient to most kid's school schedule. So the result, we have not attended any class, asked to cancel our membership and was told that a) no reimbursement will be made, even though we attended no session, b) makeup option (for the last two lost sessions) cannot be used upon dropping out the class.

Congratulations to the management of this business, made us feel completely exploited and unfairly treated.

I had a rather disappointing experience recently. I attempted to sign up my daughter for a trial class and was denied because she had a trial class in January. Well, this was a completely different class (different instructor as well) and I wanted her to try it before we committed because she has asthma and cannot always handle gymnastics classes. I was just trying to give my daughter a chance. I took a chance and paid $60 annual fee plus $100 for the class. My daughter has asthma and was unfortunately not able to keep up with this class and left in tears. I attempted to at the very LEAST get the $60 annual fee back and was denied. I went through management as well and was denied. I completely understand paying for the class we attended and was even willing to pay f$100 for the entire class but it was completely heartless that I was denied the $60 annual fee. We will not be back. Times are tough and I was charged $160 for my daughter to attend a 45 min class. Honestly with inflation and people trying to make ends meet, I feel this was a really rotten thing to do and was very disappointed.

What my son and I value about Coach Tim is his ability to navigate difficult moments with his trainees. He is calm, organized, forth-coming, focused, and fair. And he always finds time to respond to parents, talk to the kids, and ... even play the guitar (it is great to see that he is an expert in what he does with his trainees + in other things). His professional qualities are exemplified by his trainees' accomplishments, but his personal and pedagogical qualities are in demand every day, every session when he interacts with his trainees. Thank you, Coach Tim!

My daughter Ashley loves this place and her coaches!! She’s in Acrobatics and Tumbling with coach Zach and coach Doug. Coach Zach is awesome! He is a great communicator with everything that is happening throughout the season in his class. He is always available to answer questions and works the girls hard while still letting them have fun! Coach Doug is also an awesome coach!! He’s very kind and shows dedication to the team. Both of these coaches are doing a great job with the girls. The facility is beautiful and clean as well! Everyone is very kind.

This place is awesome! I have both of my kids attending this gym and all I can say are great things. Coach Jenny is great with my daughter and she has being very supporting since she started doing gymnastics, she really is the best for little girls starting on this sport. My son loves Coach Tim, he has a lot of experience and all the boys have a lot of respect for him, he is the best for teaching Mens Gymnastics.

We moved to Spring in 2018 and moved our 4 year old into the Gymnastics Rec program. My son loved gymnastics so much we talked about what to do to get him on the boys team. 2 years later with some hard work he is finally on the team and practicing with Boys Team Coach Tim. Since working with Coach Tim my sons skills and ability have exponentially improved. Coach Tim is meticulous about form and technique. This has helped my son build a strong foundation and is setting him up to excel in his gymnastics. My son loves being a part of the team and looks forward to practice with his teammates and Coach Tim. He really cares about the team and their progress and that they are enjoying gymnastics!
Everyone we have interacted with at WCC has been great. From all the employees, the coaches and even the other parents. Everyone is always willing to help you and answer any questions you have!
I am especially proud and grateful of the way they are handling the Covid situation. They have very strict rules and guidelines that they follow and keep people accountable for.
We go to this gym 3 times a week and I have never seen them let someone in without checking the temperature or spraying their hands.
Overall if you are looking for a great gym with excellent coaches and staff - WCC is the place for you!

Moving to a new gym after 7 years at another gym was very emotional and hard on us. WCC staff,
Coaches, team, and parents made us feel very welcome. Thanks so much for the support. We are so happy here.
Special thanks to her new coaches Brian Gemberling and Jie (Emilie) Ling

Coach Tim with the Boys Team has been nothing short of amazing for WCC! It is awesome to watch him show excitement for the guys at a competition when they nail a routine, and to see him express support and encouragement when a routine doesn't go as planned. He tries to come out after practice and provide feedback to the parents as needed, and he communicates frequently on social media and via e-mail. When the gym was closed for COVID-19 he worked hard to ensure that the team was conditioning and working hard to be ready to return once the gym reopened. Coach Tim keeps my son excited to be a part of gymnastics and it is the only thing my son wants to do now. My son has never come home feeling like he wasn't a valued member of the team and has never wanted to leave the sport under Coach Tim's leadership. He has been so positive and uplifting for the boys team overall. My son has grown exponentially under his guidance and we are looking forward to this competition season to see these results on the floor!

We have LOVED being at the World Champions Centre! My 3 year old daughter started the preschool program back in January and has had a blast. Not only has she become stronger and learned many gymnastic skills, but best of all she has become more independent and confident. Coach Jenny is an awesome coach and Emilia looks forward to class every week!
And as a note for this year with COVID, I have been very impressed with all the steps they have taken to keep everything clean and everyone safe. Highly recommend!

My son just started T&T with Coach Jeffrey 14 months ago and has already mobilized to Jr. Elite as of yesterday. Jeffrey is the best there is when it comes to coaching. He is just the right amount of serious and fun all rolled into one. You can tell he loves his job and his students mean the absolute world to him!!

Be careful signing up! This place is after your money and they do not post any terms of sale and refund policy for the summer camp so they can keep it.They do not email it to you as well. So as of today they do not have a policy for refunds!

I have contacted them for a refund due to a change in our travel schedule with my husband, because both of us are working parents.
The lady who answered the phone told me, they do not refund anything unless our girl is injured. I would understand if they kept a portion of it but holding $600 is a scam and I informed them 4 months ahead of time.
She was very snobby and rude and making smart comments.
Is it even legal for them to keep my money without any refund policy posted on the web or emailed to me during the registration.
She said she will get back with me next week, which I am sure they will come up with a refund policy and post it on the website within this week!
I am going to update this post if I hear from this gym.
Will be filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau.

Two classes are canceled this month due to holidays. (Christmas Eve and NYE) No makeup days are offered. That is 50% of our gym days for the month, yet we were charged the normal 100% monthly rate.

We will be canceling our membership.

If your daughter wants to go places in gymnastics-this is not the place. To move from Excel to Compulsory is almost impossible -even if you were state champion in floor, vault and bars and all around champion. In the words of my daughter....they took the fun out of it 😞

So I was very conflicted on how to review this gym. My (3.5 yr old) son has been in the dynamic flyers class for a few months. He is doing well and I cannot say enough good things about his coach, Ethan. Although he is young, he is extremely engaged with his students and communicates very well through play making class fun and not intimidating. we’ve been to a few make up classes with other teachers and I can’t say the same thing. They seem like they are here just because they have to be. And while I don’t expect my toddler to be doing triple back flips I would like an instructor involved enough to challenge my child not just watch them get by. The main thing I’m turned off by is the front desk area. I don’t understand who is the receptionist or who is qualified to help. Very few people at the desk have been friendly. I recently went to get a make up class scheduled, when I went back to switch that time (15 minutes later) another woman said my first make up class was not even booked. I understand mistakes happen, but there’s something about this front desk area and the employees covering it that doesn’t rub me the right way.

Unfortunately, I was not allowed to give 0 stars. It is quite disappointing that this gym is poorly managed, as it only hurts the gymnasts. Lack of responsiveness from gym directors to disrespectful staff. There are a lot of other choices and I would urge you to seek alternate locations.

While we wanted to love this center we just cannot. Poor Upper Management is the main problem. Coaches are coming and going all the time, new directors (3 in the last 6 months), chaotic to say the least at any Open Gym event not to mention the despicable way they treat the coaches we are trusting with our children. The front desk people are not welcoming at all (something I would want in a children oriented facility) and very unapproachable. Growing pains in the beginning were to be expected but the situation goes way beyond that now.
It is a wonderful facility and they could do great things for our kids, much work is needed in Management as well are the front desk staff.

Very convenient location for our family, sadly we have chosen to leave after a year as the downfalls are just too big.

Overall, excellent gym. My daughter had a trial class last night and she loved it. For the prek it was a small class size, the store is nice, but expectedly over priced imo, they are caitalizing (as any good business would) on Simone Biles & the fact that she trains here. I would say this, it shows, it is crowded. Coach Allison did awesome with my daughter! I will say the front desk could be 1. More attentive to the trials, if i say i am here for a trial there should be some follow up. 2. SMILE!

We went for a trial tumbling class. The instructor had my daughter demonstrate every move. At the end of class he then told me she needs to work on her back hand spring because it was too powerful. She has her series of back hand springs to a tuck! When we left the receptionist never stopped us to see if we liked the class and/or tried to get us to register. Not impressed at all!!

My kids used to love this place when it first started, but it has been going downhill fast. Even with the nice facility, the coaches kept quitting and no stability for the gymnasts. Hired teenagers to teach all the classes, the quality is just not there. I thought with the famous gymnast, the coaching would be excellent, but that's not the case.

My youngest son LOVES this place however my oldest son does not. He feels like he has gone through too many coaches(4 in 5 months). My youngest son is in the preschool class and unfortunately they aren't consistent. Just when they have a routine they change it up and fire their best preschool director. I'm very upset about that. Their customer service is very poor. I have received email responses that weren't intended to go to me that were very ugly and unprofessional. The owner seems to be inexperienced in management. Hopefully they realize they are hurting their business and they hire someone who knows what they are doing to run the place. It's so important for kids to have consistency and they just don't get that here. The location is very convenient and prices are good but I'm not sure if that's worth it if we don't like the management. They don't seem to care about the parents opinion.
