I am a loyal follower of Ernesto and Maria for the aerial yoga and TRX classes. Clean studio with motivational teachers and easy to pay online for classes. I feel like the classes are small at times which is great, but I wish more students would come and see how great it is. The only drawback I have is almost all of the yoga classes are in the heated room. I wish there were more offered in the other room.

Last night I hurt my hip while making dinner, so I thought I should schedule a massage. A friend suggested Ernesto at the Your Body Center. This morning I woke up and when it was still hurting I looked online and booked an appointment for this afternoon at 4 p.m. At 9 a.m. this morning I received a phone call from a woman at the Your Body Center asking me if I was trying to schedule an appointment for 4 p.m. today? I said yes, and she asked if I could come in at 4:30 instead. I said sure no problem. I left work early, went home and changed. Then headed over to the Your Body Center. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment, which was confirmed for 4:30 pm today.
When I showed up the front desk staff member asked me if I was there for Yoga and I said no. That I had an appointment for massage. He looked at the schedule and said that I was not on it. I explained to him that I scheduled in that morning and a woman called me to confirm my appointment and asked me to switch to 4:30 p.m. He then tells me that the massage therapist is now subbing for yoga classes since he has no appointments schedule. He asked if he can just reschedule me. I explained to him that I was in pain and left work early. I had a confirmed appointment.
He then called the woman from this morning and discovers that I have some how been place for 4:30 tomorrow and then starts to blame me. Said I must have requested that appointment for tomorrow. I again explain to him that I had schedule it for today at 4 p.m. and was asked to push it back 30 minutes. To make a long story short this went on for about 10 minutes. He was one of the most rude people I have ever interacted with. He spoke to me so disrespectfully I felt like crying. I even asked him to please stop blaming me as I have not made any mistakes. That’s this was a mistake the staff has made. He told me that I was welcome to come in tomorrow and I explained to him that I could not as I had other plans.
There was no offer about how they could make this better or any offer other than just come in tomorrow and the attitude of your lucky I am even interacting with you from the guy at the front. I have been searching for a massage therapist that I could go to regularly and was hoping for Ernesto since my friend recommended him. Ernesto if you reading this let me know if you ever switch locations as I will not be seeing you at the Your Body Center based upon how I was treated today. Nor will I be going there for any other services.

I get plenty of massages and this is one of the few that wasn't too strong, but kinda wrong. I'm pretty sure you don't pull someones shoulder like that. He wasn't looking at me as he stretched some of me out. I could see him counting or breathing as he just pushed my limbs too far. I would not go back.

I absolutely love YBC and although it's further out for me than other studios, I will make the drive because it really is THAT awesome... Everyone is down-to-earth and kind, the classes are great, the instructors all stay after class to address any issues or concerns, the place is clean, parking is great, amenities are wonderful, massages are incredible, the price is amazing and you have a lot of space to move in your poses, with large windows for natural light and openness... I just LOVE it and when I think of yoga, this is where I want to be!!!!

I love YBC!!! It's my favorite place to workout. I have dabbled in almost every class they have there. Aeriel Fit with Ernesto (using TRX style cables) is a great way to get your heart pumping without putting too much pressure on your joints. If your looking for a mid level workout aeriel mix is the class for you while aeriel yoga will be more your speed if you want a stretch. Alexandra or Devon's Hot Body Express is a another awesome class to try out!!! I love taking Your Body Bar with Amanda on Wednesday nights, she will get your legs and bottom right. If your looking for something powerful head on over for a class with James. Hot Vibes is a great class if your looking to connect to your mind and body along with instructor Sam Ocean. They have a great promotion for first time students so you can try as many classes within your first month. I hope to meet you there one day.

The heated classes here are amazing and probably some of my favorites from all the yoga studios I've been to.

That said, the heated room is carpet, which is disgusting. I constantly smell it when I'm in seated poses.

I have also noticed that quite a few of the people who work here are very unprofessional and rude. That is not to say all of them (I love Devon and her classes), but the majority seem to have some sort of attitude problem.

Love the Aerial Mix class with Ernesto. I have been practicing Yoga for many years. Aerial Yoga definitely helps me to access poses I couldn't otherwise do, improves flexibility and I feel like the core is engaged at all times.

I first met Ernesto when he had his studio in Montrose. I moved to Australia in 06 and when I came back, I was delighted to see that he had a bigger studio right off I10. I have been to other studios in Houston that I had Groupons for but I love Your Body! Ernesto is fun, enthusiastic, welcoming and very knowledgable. He is also completely unpretentious and creates a wonderful atmosphere in the classes. There are lots of great classes offered by multiple teachers but I am really enjoying the Tue 11.45am aerial mix class. There is a lot of stretching and it's very dynamic. I love it and feel so refreshed afterwards. Great studio and great folks!

Great selection of classes and times along with motivational instructors! I enjoy the hot yoga classes, pilates and especially the aerial fit class. With aerial fit, you use your own body weight in the parachute fabric to strengthen your muscles. You can get great definition from this class in a short period of time!

Your Body Center is awesome!! I have been an on and off practicing yogi now for 3 years and this is one of my favorite places to practice. If you haven't tried hot yoga, I would suggest trying out a few classes at YBC. My favorite is Warm Flow with Amanda Field. She really wants her students to improve at their own speed/level. My favorite part of the class is when we spend about 15 minutes practicing harder variations (head stand, hand stand, shoulder stand, etc.). It is always a challenge and you will leave the class feeling like you've improved or accomplished something!

This is a great yoga studio. There's hot yoga, more tradition non-hot Hatha yoga, Pilates, aerial yoga and more. I prefer the non-hot yoga classes. I get my weekend off to a great start with Kay Westcott's Saturday morning beginners class. Or check out Amanda Field's evening beginner classes. And many other instructors and classes to choose from.

This studio is amazing! My favorite things about this studio are:
1. The people (students and instructors) are friendly and welcoming
2. The instructors are very knowledgeable about the body.
3. You gain strength quickly.
4. (Aerial classes) This is the only exercise that relieves my back compression/pain.

If you are looking for strength, flexibility and cardio in a low/no impact environment and small group classes, this is for you. And they have a great intro offer!

As a complete beginner I felt very comfortable here. There are quite a few advanced people in each class, so they're inspiring, as are the instructors. I've taken lots of their classes including hot yoga, pilates, barre, Forrest Yoga and some others I can't remember. I pretty much just go when my schedule allows. I'm trying to get up the courage to try the aerial yoga, I've been assured there is a class more geared to beginners, but I may wait til I get a little stronger. I feel a positive energy and I'm learning a lot and I've recommended YBC to lots of friends

I really love the yoga classes here. They are pretty laid back and great for any level. My favorite is the Hot Body Express with Nicole Harford. Hands down my favorite instructor! Her instructions are very clear and easy to follow. She always offers modifications for every skill level which I found very helpful as a beginner. I also really like that she will do adjustments to help improve your form. I highly recommend checking her class out if you are thinking about trying hot yoga.

The studio is overall very nice always clean and well stocked. There are rental towels, mats and drinks available. I really like that there are showers available to the students. Great studio check it out!

Keeping in mind that I am athletic, but not flexible in the slightest, I absolutely LOVED Ernesto's aerial yoga class! I went with a friend who told me I would be able to do it but I was still a little concerned. It ended up being the combination of yoga, TRX, and some aerial stretching, and it was so fun. It has been 2 full days since the class and my abs are still sore because Ernesto is so energetic that you want to try to do the hardest version of the moves. Needless to say, I will be returned as soon as I move to Houston!

Your Body Center is awesome! The hot yoga class rocks - bring on the heat! The heat alone make their hot yoga class is an intense workout. The instructors are always supportive of everyone working at their own level which made the class feel comfortable when I was just starting out...listen to your body. Everyone here is friendly and their prices are reasonable.

The teachers here are knowledgable but also approachable, and make most classes accessible for students of all skill levels. Over the last 5 months they have helped me to really expand my practice. I also like that I have the option to take other kinds of classes besides hot yoga, like pilates or barre! The overall welcoming and challenging environment makes YBC the perfect studio for me. HIGHLY recommend!

I was referred to Ernesto by a friend. I could barely get out of bed in the morning because my hip was really tight. After my friend made the appointment, Ernesto spent about 45 minutes working on both of my hips. Immediately after the massage, the pain had subsided. My hips were sore, but I had full range of motion back. I would recommend everyone to see Ernesto for the best massage I have ever had.

Ernesto, the owner, is an incredible person with great energy. Coming to this studio makes me look forward to coming to Houston - I practice yoga here every time I am in Houston. Ernesto is a gifted massage therapist, and he has hired fabulous staff and yoga instructors. The yoga students at YBC are committed to this studio for good reason - it's fabulous. On Friday nights, after the 6:15 "your hot body" class, the studio offers great snacks... you will love this large, very clean studio with very positive energy.

So as a guy who has never done any type of Yoga or Pilates before and who can only dream of being able to touch his toes, I was skeptical and a little nervous about trying this place out. However, after my first with Gayle, I was hooked. The classes are targeted to be able to help a clueless first timer (me) or the most advanced yoga/pilates skill levels. Everyone is very friendly at the studio.

I love this studio. The instructors are great and really do their best to make sure I'm in the pose correctly. I recommend this studio to everyone I know. It's a beautiful, friendly and calm atmosphere. I go every chance I get! My mom gets regular massages and love it. There are classes for all levels. It's the whole package at a great location! Your Body Center rocks!!

This yoga studio has everything to offer ..beginner advance and intermediate. The yoga classes are welcoming to whatever your level of practice is. It is warm and friendly, the staff are all friendly. The yoga instructors are skilled and each bring their own creativity to the class. You will never be bored, because there is so much to chose from.
Pilates is a great work out that will firm your core and whittle you waist in no time in a fast pace class taught by the owner Ernesto. You will not be disappointed. I know I haven't been.
If you want to dance it up, the studio also offers a cardio dance workout!! A must try!
Come check it out and see for yourself..the space has great energy and you will feel very comfortable the moment you step in the door.
The studio has mats if you don't have one and the facility is clean and open.
The hot studio has showers and towels..
Come see for yourself.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone of any level!

This is where I train to become a super fairy battling evil! ;)
Well, if I had to battle evil that is.
But I do train, and hard! And imaging myself as a super fairy battling evil helps when Ernesto is barking out the routine during the intense but fun Pilates Ball classes ;)

I attend 4-6 Pilates and yoga classes a week. I consider Pilates and yoga to be more as training for other sports, as well as to correct bad posture from working at a computer all day ;) I also cycle, snowboard and hope to soon take up rock climbing :)

I've attended YBC for many years... I’ve left and tried other studios occasionally, but I’ve always come back. Last year I finally got my monthly membership and love it!
Being able to attend as many classes as I want during the month has allowed me to try some classes that I normally wouldn't. And attending all the different kinds of classes with every instructor giving different tips in their teaching has REALLY helped my practice and has given me a really strong core.

Why I like this place:
- BIG studios. When a class is full, it's never matte to matte
- A separate studio for hot classes. When you are about to take a rather aerobic intense yoga or Pilates class, it's nice to not have the room at 100 degrees from the class before.
- The number of classes- there are at least 2 classes a day I would be interested in doing.
- A good variety of classes from traditional matte pilates, to a more aerobic fusion pilates classes in which we listen to club music!, to power house hot yoga, hot hatha, even a belly dancing class.
- The instructors are great! I’ve learned a little something different from each of them.

Classes I cannot do with out are:
- Talina's Pilates classes Monday and Friday Mornings (great for working basic form and strength)
- Ernestos Ball Pilates classes: for the exercise addict in you! I don't know why, but when there's a ball involved it's just fun! Plus the dance music helps you get into it. I feel the ball actually helps open my hips too. But I warn you, everyone the first time feels lost, so don't be discouraged! Eventually you'll be spacing out in class because you know the routine so well and Ernesto will call you out for not working as hard as he knows you can ;)

Other classes and instructors I love, but don’t get to attend as much:
- Le Walker, her Light Yoga class on Friday is a great follow up to Talinas Pilates.
- Ananda Love’s Hot Hatha, the routine always seems a little different and kinda bizarre from other yoga classes. It seems simple at first but then you realize it’s really challenging! It’s actually a nice mix of challenging your strength, flexibility as well as challenging your ability to let go and relax. The class is a nice compliment to what I get from other instructors. And I’ve come to realize I really like Hot Hatha in general.
- Forest Pettis, his yoga classes also can be a bit like Ananda’s. Things seem simple and then as you are in the pose you realize “this is really challenging!” He incorporates a number of isometric style poses, which I find help correct a lot of posture issues for me.
- Also a few other great instructors, that I find are just plain good in explaining the poses, and transitions, etc…Amanda Field, Sukaina Rajani, and Madeline Jackson.
I haven’t tried all the classes nor instructors yet, but I aim too!

Ooo! Other perks!:
-2 showers, so you don’t have to hit the Montrose Whole Foods all sweaty ;)
- Vending machine with healthy snacks like Coconut water
Complimentary usage of yoga mattes during non-heated classes, and $1 rentals of mattes and towels for eth heated. (great when you forget to bring yours)
- Ernesto usually puts out fresh fruit on the weekends, a great reward for getting out of bed on a Saturday morning to get your practice in :)

I came here after I moved to the Heights. I used to go to Yoga One in Midtown and absolutely loved it, but I'm not willing to drive 15 min to go work out. I'm way too lazy in that way. I tried the hot yoga class here once and wasn't too thrilled. I didn't like how there was music playing and refrigerators where people could go and get their water bottles whenever they wanted. People walked around too much during the class and there wasn't enough concentration or meditation for me. I had bought a 3 month pass so I decided to try the Pilates class. Ernesto is amazing and my body has definitely benefited from both of his Pilates classes - Ball and Band. The first time I went to the Ball class I was sore for 3 days after so be prepared to work. The classes are only 1 hour long and I don't really sweat during them, but you feel the effects the next day. He plays house music during class to keep everyone pumped as well, which is perfect because Pilates isn't about meditating like yoga is.
I have taken Yin Yoga also and really enjoyed it. It is not so much a workout, it is more of a meditation and relaxation class that opens up all your tight joints like hips and hamstrings. I wish I could go to this class more often, however it's only during the day and 5pm on the weekdays which are very hard to attend.
All in all, even though I miss Yoga One I am pleased with Your Body Center. Try the Pilates! It will seriously change your life!

I have been going to the hot yoga classes for the last couple of months and have really noticed a difference - both physically and mentally. The staff is wonderful, the location is so convenient and the heated room does not some other facilities I have used in the past. Also, the massage can't be beat.

I really love YBC. From the moment I walked in I felt at home with the friendly staff and the amazing facilities. I like that there are so many classes that it's hard for your body to get stuck in a plateau. There is always a new challenge and a different instructor to try. My favorite class is the 90 minute hot yoga class. It's both challenging and relaxing, which blows my mind. I feel wonderful and rejuvenated after these classes. Ernesto's ball pilates class is an excellent companion class to yoga. It's fast paced and challenging. It's great for tight, tone, defined muscles. I would recommend Your Body Center to anyone looking to jump start their workout routine and develop a good daily practice.
