Training with Jake has been a game changer for me.
This last year has brought a lot of challenges to my life and my health was one of those challenges. After an appointment with my doctor and getting lab results back I had a decision to make. Either continue living a unhealthy life a face the fact that it would not be a long life, or do something about it.
Jake is now my personal trainer and he is God sent. Jake took time with me as we started this journey. He wanted to know not only my physical challenges but personal challenges. Like any relationship you have to start slow and build trust and confidence. And that is what Jake has done. With Jake’s direction I have made quit an impact in just a few short weeks. My weight has dropped significantly, my core is getting stronger and I’ve never felt so confident. Jake is a great trainer, and I would now consider him a friend. Jake has the knowledge, understanding and empathy to adapt to individuals wants and needs, so they can achieve their goals.

So I have a pretty sedentary job, so I signed up at a gym. Working with Jake has been superb, been feeling more fit as of late and even my bum ankle is acting up less now. I can solidly recommend Jake, his personal fitness plans fit my skill level and account for any old wounds. That takes knowledge and Jake's got it in spades!

I have hip dysplasia and have completed PT three times with little relief. When I was told I need a hip replacement, I decided to hire a personal trainer to strengthen my hip muscles before surgery. I won the lottery when Jake was working the day I walked into the gym! In just a couple weeks I could walk for 45 minutes outside…with no pain! This has not happened in years! I can now walk 20+ mins on the treadmill at a 5% grade and my hips feel so good! No more Ibuprofen and pain pills! If you are on the fence about hiring a personal trainer, DO IT you will not be disappointed!
