I have to say my first experience with Align was communicating over the phone about my interest and needs/ appointment time.i had scheduled weeks out from the time week spoke in January.
The email came ,prior to appointment, (this method of working out was foreign to me, i needed help more than fear could keep me away. i called to confirm my appointment and i was there the next day.
All went well for my introduction session. We talked about scheduling for future appointments and did it. i workout with Marissa (the Owner). She assists me with the correct position
that she has asked me to move my body to. We talk at the beginning, i may have a part of my body that hurts. She is respectful , caring, professional, compassionate, understanding and she has been an example and has taught me how to be kind and gentle to other people.Marissa is great helpful person to work with !
I consider her a great Friend. i plan to continue with the program.

Marissa is an excellent Pilates coach. She is very knowledgeable, and adjusts her sessions to meet your goals. As a beginner, I was hoping to build a foundation prior to jumping into group classes. After a handful of sessions I was much more confident in my techniques and abilities. I highly recommend Marissa's coaching whatever your skill level or goals might be.

I’m new to this form of exercise. Franchise Pilates classes was not a fit for me. I went to my second one on one class with Marissa and I am committed to my health.
Marissa is focused on my form, my mental physical, emotional, health. Marissa makes this exercise simple and straightforward and easy to accept. She is a true wealth of knowledge.
When I found her, that’s it, no more searching for help.

Marissa is extraordinary!! For months I was debating physical therapy for a tilted pelvis and weak core, but decided to try her private pilates sessions instead. Im an absolute beginner so I was a bit nervous. After 1 session I saw her worth and purchased a 10 session package. She is very knowledgeable about anatomy & physiology, and has the most gentle way of treating you holistically. I spent years avoiding core & pelvic work due to past trauma and lack of direction. For the past 12 weeks I’ve looked forward to my weekly session with Marissa because I’ve been seeing actual results. My lower back pain has lessened, my hip pain minimal, and I can finally feel my core muscles activating. She is patient, an amazing listener, and lets you set the pace for your goals and limits. The name Align fits her practice perfectly, she’s really been aligning my body (and soul) :) I could not recommend her enough, whether you’re a beginner or super fit. I can’t wait to continue to work so that I can take advantage of her knowledge as I grow and get stronger.

Marissa is the consummate professional!
Each class is customized to my needs and goals whether that is physical, emotional or most often a combination of both. Marissa keeps notes on how my body is responding to the classes and her knowledge base is vast. . No class has been remotely repeated in the time Marissa has instructed me. I've known Marissa and practiced Pilates with her on and off for the past few years. Marissa is the best! She is incredibly knowledgable, kind, and flexible in her approach. I love that she focuses on form and focus. I have good and bad days and Marissa is empathetic and able to meet me where I am at (chair/mat Pilates, Zoom sessions) on the days where the Reformer feels a bit too much. I feel very lucky that I was referred to Marissa this summer to continue my pilates training. She brings a level of detail and attention to form and posture that many overlook. If you're serious about getting to know your body and really working on how to improve your strength, alignment and physical health for the future, this is the place to come. Plus, she's super friendly and fun to work with. I found her a big improvement over the private classes I was taking outside of Vermont which focused more on general overall movements and less on the details. I hope I can work with Marissa again next summer when I'm back!

The Reiki specialist is wonderful, very pleasant, a good listener, and very supportive. I've been meeting with her for years, and the main thing I can say about the practice's effectiveness, is any time I go without a session, I start to feel awful, and unbalanced, but then when I get back to meeting with her, I just feel like I can handle things again.

To each their own, Reiki may not be a good fit for everyone, but if you're a spiritual kind of person, who accepts that you're living energy, and you feel like your energies aren't the way you'd want them to be, Reiki may be a very good type of "therapy" for you. It helps strengthen, and balance your Chakras, but you have to be open to it.

Speaking of Chakras, if you don't know about them, I'd say start there. Understand yourself, and if you think you could use help with improving the flow, and health of those Chakras, this would be great for you. It could be anything from motivation at work, trouble with your appetite, or having writer's block, anything where you feel like your not doing the best you could be, Reiki could help you find that within yourself.

I can say from experience, it helps me a lot. It feels like a support that I, personally, can't go without. When I think about the breaks I've had from it, I always find it interesting that I can notice the difference, and how much it really helps.

I have been working with Marissa for 6 years now and it has been a truly transformative experience. I worked with her both pre-pregnancy, prenatally and postnatally. This business is open. Marissa was on maternity leave and she is back in action.
