Honest Yoga has been the place of birth, gestation and blooming of my yogic journey. I have gone to other centers, but the authenticity, drive and wealth delivered by Danielle Vardakas and its other practitioners will find its home in your heart.

The teachers at Honest Yoga are all truly wonderful people, with a lot of training. The center offers beginner and more advanced flow classes, as well as frequent workshops on topics such as meditation, yin, Reiki, therapeutics, inversions, and others. There are also kids yoga and some fun dance classes, and monthly Kirtan gatherings.

I've been practicing yoga for atleast 20 years on and off and when I was turned on to Honest style yoga 4 years ago I knew I found my jam. Call it timing, synchronicity....all of it...this style of yoga fulfills my physical need to move and be in body. I love this style yoga so much I decided to do Danielle's 200 & 500 hr YTT and I couldn't have made a wiser decision. What a trip!
The heat, the theming, the music, the vibe and the community is worth my time, money and then some.
If you haven't experienced Honest Yoga yet...it's a must for your 2019 To Do list.

Was told I could try a class for free but once I got there, was told I had to sign up to be able to have that free class. They let me use a yoga mat and third time they tell me I have to pay $2 to borrow their mat. Different people tell you different things. Class itself was ok.

My son did the movement, yoga, and green art camp at Honest Yoga this summer. He loved it and asked to go back. We plan to sign up again next summer! The staff were fantastic and the owner even personally reached out to us. Great experience!

I have been going to HY regularly for over 2 years. I love this studio, the teachers, the community and the owner, Danielle. Itβs not enough to say that this place and this practice changed me. I have lost weight, gained muscle and balance, been taken off all medications and have moved an autoimmune disease into remission. I know that HY is the reason behind my success. Yes, it takes dedication, but this is a place where everyone wants you to succeed. The teachers care. I have made so many friends here. Itβs tough sometimes taking that first step into a studio. I was new to yoga, everyone has to start somewhere. I encourage you to start here where they take proper alignment seriously. No one cares here how you look in yoga clothes, or how far you can bend, they care about how you feel. Give yourself a chance to realize your true self. Come to class! Take that first step! Give yourself the gift of health. You wonβt be sorry.

I can honestly say that I've practiced yoga in many other countries (Fiji, NZ, Indonesia, Thailand, England) and none of them match up to Honest Yoga. I had practiced here last summer, before I went on my big trip to these other countries- and yes, I had loved it, but I figured that other studios would hold themselves to the same standards. Nope, not the case. I'm happily back to Vermont now and a member at the center. If you haven't tried this place yet.. you're missing out.

Danielle and Scott are both incredibly educated in many dimensions of yoga and they are both highly invested in their students. Compared to other local studios, I find that Honest Yoga is always pushing the envelope in developing and enhancing the practice and continuing growth and depth of practice for their students. Their knowledge of anatomy and physiology and how it relates to practice, self modifications and assists is
not only impressive but some of the best I have witnessed and experienced. In addition to the set class schedule, there are frequent and diverse workshops offered which not only compliment practice but offer a special, set time to devote to inversions, pranayama, dharma, etc.
I highly recommend this studio as it is welcoming, inclusive, unpretentious and as real and friendly as can be!
