I've worked out in more than 10 different gyms in the past 30 years and PPF is head and shoulders above them all. The major reason: very close personal attention to your needs and goals. You get it at the very beginning from a thorough assesment that dictates how your tailored program will evolve. And you get it at every workout because the trainers are always on the floor to answer your questions and to show you how to perform the prescribed exercises. And then they watch you to be sure your form is true. Since the gym limit for any given hour is 10 clients, you don't have to compete for attention from the trainers. I was approached any number of times for a productive correction.
In my past experience with other gym trainers, I would the hours I needed to learn a new routine. The hours were distributed over a few weeks and in between those sessions I was left on my own. The result was my ability to maintain form drifted over time and the limited moves I learned could not evolve and adapt to changes in my body.
At PPF I worked out 3 or 4 times a week and each day was different and designed to take into account my experience from previous sessions. At the end of the first month I was definitely stronger and the strengthened muscles did just what I had hoped for - stabilized my knees and hips in a way that it made it comfortable for me to move under normal circumstances with grace and ease and comfort.
The amount of attention I received and the expertise of the trainers comes at a cost. PPF is not inexpensive. I didn't really care. I was convinced early on that the investment in the future of my body was well worth it.

Peak Potential Fitness is by far, the best gym I've ever been a part of. It has such a communal vibe, and your workouts are 100% tailored to fit your specific goals and needs. David is all about fundamental, holistic health. He doesn’t cut corners, customizes each client’s plans to their body/experience level/goals, and focuses on healthy, structural change. He does not buy into fads that are mostly designed to sell products vs truly improving people’s health. Before I worked with him, my lower back was in constant pain and prone to spasms. I couldn’t play with my kids because the pain was so bad. I had given up running and anything active. He developed a plan to make my back and related muscles more flexible and resilient. That was nearly a year of targeted movements and exercises just to rehabilitate my lower back. After that, he developed a plan to help me get back into overall shape. He was with me every step of the way and checked in frequently to adjust the plan as needed. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to make lasting, holistic and substantive changes in one’s health.

I started working with David in-person in 2016, and he's been my remote coach since 2018. That's a few years, and it's tough to wrap up all the good stuff in a review. He's been outstanding since day 1. David brings professionalism, background, focus, drive, motivation...all the good stuff you want in a coach. He also brings understanding, perspective, support, humor...all the good stuff you want in a friend. David has been super flexible with planning in my case; I was using a very pared down home gym for years (pre-covid), and he managed to structure variety and function into the workouts so that I remained interested and invested in the fitness process. I've also come to him with a fair number of injuries, and his workouts have been essential in getting back to health. Often his reassurances and patience have kept me going in those rehab modes when I'm sure I would have dropped off otherwise. I'm grateful for the training and the relationship. I highly recommend getting connected with David if you're looking for a coach.

I absolutely love this gym! Dave & Leddy are amazing trainers/coaches. The workouts are personalized and they make sure you get the most out of them by ensuring proper execution. It took me awhile to find the perfect fit, but once I found Peak Potential, I was extremely impressed. I would definitely recommend this gym whether you are new to working out or experienced.

Peak Potential is a phenomenal gym. Both Dave and Leddy are great coachs, and have been encouraging through all the highs and lows of my injury recovery. I have trained with David both remote and in person for several years now, and I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of him. Having worked with trainers for over 15 years and been one myself for nearly 8 I’ve spent a lot of time working with as well as alongside coaches. This is where you go for thoughtful, life-long fitness support. Coach Dave takes a quiet, mentoring approach to building strength, bla lance and flexibility. The members seem to be men and women in all life stages, from high-schoolers, to serious athletes, to guys in their 70’s. The atmosphere is one of mellow mutual respect and support, it is not a gym “scene”. Stop in for a conversation or a more serious consultation about your situation and your goals. After working out with David at Peak Potential for the last 4 and a half months he has not only helped me get on a great program, but has been more than helpful when it comes to form, diversity of workouts, eating habits as well as fostering a community of people that are driven to better themselves and their fitness. It is hard to find a place comparable to what David has created where everyone is friendly and working towards similar goals irrespective of their experience level. If you are serious about learning how to apply fitness into your life and working towards a healthier lifestyle in general I highly recommend getting in contact with David. As a D1 College Athlete I was put through a rigorous training schedule, The program that David has me on is helping me build back my fitness to a level that is on par or surpasses where I was back in the "glory days." As a one sport athlete growing up I wish I had something like this to help cross train in the off season.
