This Planet Fitness location is by far the best I’ve ever been to! The staff are incredibly kind, the gym is spotless, and there’s an amazing variety of machines. No matter what time of day I come in I’m always greeted with a smile. The staff are always cleaning, mopping, dusting, or refilling sanitizers. The team here truly works hard, and it shows!

This is the cleanest planet fitness.I have ever been in. I live in Lynn mass and I go there and I go to the one in Salem mass. They are not as clean and I am going to let them know how clean the one in Brattleboro

The gym, especially the entrance, is not as clean as the planet fitness gyms in Florida. When I decided to transfer my membership from the planet fitness in Florida to my home in New Hampshire, I chose Brattleboro because it was close. I called while I was in Florida to ask about the number of televisions and the stations that they were tuned to. I was told that the gym in Brattleboro had 14 TVs and included CNN and MSNBC. When I got there, I realized the number of TVs was correct, but there were none tuned to MSNBC. There were two TVs tuned to news from Fox. When I asked why there were none tuned to MSNBC to provide a counterpoint. I was told the ownership made those decisions. I saidI might consider a transfer to the gym in Keene . I was then told the ownership was the same and I might find the same results. I called the planet fitness in Keene and they said they had 18 tvs and several were tuned to Fox, but none were tuned to MSNBC. I have no problem with ownership having the right to support President Trump and thus Fox entertainment but as a customer, I would prefer to have some choice regarding my news. When I go to the gym I actually enjoy watching the counterpoint between Fox and MSNBC. If the ownership is afraid of news from MSNBC, I will probably have to cancel my planet fitness membership and go elsewhere.

I enjoy everything at Planet Fitness, Brattleboro, VT. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knees. I started my exercise program using a stationary bike. Everyone at PF is professional and friendly and seem eager to help me with my exercise program. Physical therapy recommended I start using some other machines. I had no idea how to use them; Abe spent a lot of time showing me what to do/how to get started. His enthusiasm is inspiring and makes me feel very much at home. I love the facility and am glad I joined. I'm 73 and I wasn't sure what to expect. Certainly this has exceeded my expectations. I enjoy the whole experience which is amazing since I've never been to anything like Planet Fitness before and never expected, at my age, to enjoy the experience. I attribute this to the staff since they are so kind and helpful. They seem truly interested in helping me and are always willing to discuss the machines, my exercise program, etc. Kudos to the staff, especially Abe who is patient and willing to help whenever I ask for assistance.

Planet fitness in Brattleboro VT is my first ever gym experience. I’m 41 years old and have been overweight most of my life. I never wanted to go to a gym because I was embarrassed and uncomfortable. I’m so glad I got this membership and started going because the atmosphere is great. There is no judging. The workers are so helpful and friendly. Literally the only thing I would change is that I got a membership a lot sooner.

The gym is ok for cardio and light weight workouts on their machines. But there are no free weights, aside from a few light dumbbells and a smith machine, which is not really free weights. People who want to do dead lifts, clean and press, bench press, free weight squats, or anything else that serious athletes and weight lifters do are out of luck. Nearby Supreme Fitness is far better for free weight lifting.

Great place to work out, but I'm disappointed that they recently changed their closing time from 10 pm to 9 pm. Evenings are usually when I have the most time to work out. The earlier closure isn't helpful.

They won't let you cancel your membership unless you physically walk into the gym or send a letter by certified mail. Gym experience was fine, but this is next level ridiculous. They have an app that can manage everything but conveniently doesn't let you cancel.

2 row machines, tons of aerobic machines, free weights, and 30 minutes circuit. Very small.

Woman's bathroom has 2 showers, 1 changing room but only a handful of times have I needed to wait. Water pressure is meh and you know when someone's showering on the men's side cuz pressure drops and water cools. Population is generally older during the day, most of the younger weight lifters are there in the evenings.

Standard cheap soap that removes all oil from your skin in showers- remember to bring your own.

Very quiet for a gym. I guess since most people bring their own music that makes sense but it makes for an odd atmosphere. It would be nice if music was louder in the locker room. It's so quiet it is uncomfortable to make noise.

I've yet to have time to use the "spa" stuff. They have tanning booths, hydro massage chairs.. I dunno what else.

I really appreciate the extremely professional, hard working staff at this facility, but management recently made the decision to begin closing this gym much earlier than they had before. They did this about a week after I transferred my membership to this location, and did not tell me beforehand.

Not too bad of a gym. Seems to be kept clean and tidy. Truly upset about them closing earlier now as I signed up originally for going later in evening or early morning due to my personal schedule. All staff I have met have been awesome and welcoming (minus one female on night shift unfortunately). Otherwise, I'd recommend joining. The massage chairs and such for black card members are a plus. I have not had to buy any drinks or anything, but they seem to be fully stocked all the time. Locker rooms are clean as well.

Hands down the cleanest PF I’ve ever been to .. and I travel to different states for work. The staff was cleaning from the time I got there to the time I left (about 2 hours). Not only were they focused on cleaning but the were super friendly while doing it . A few of them even stopped and asked how my day was ! I wish every PF was even half as nice as this one is .

Terrific pricing, squeaky clean, friendly & welcoming staff & plenty of exercise equipment for a complete workout, at least for me. Has a 30 minute workout section & a well designed locker room area w/soap provided in showers (you have to bring your own towel tho & there's no scale in there). The abs and stretching machines/equipment is also in a separate room & is it really a PF without the Black Card user amenities like the massage bed/chairs, tanning beds and what not? Well it's all there.

Planet fitness is my new weekly gym to go to. Passes are affordable and even being a guest on someone's pass gets you in for free...There is plenty to do there, and each muscle group can and will be worked to its fullest potential if you spend 30 minutes to an hour with another motivating friend. PF is worth it. They also have hydro massage beds and regular massage beds for members, and I'll tell you, after an hour and a half work out, that is the greatest to cool down with.

This Planet Fitness is smaller than the others that I've been to. It's my home gym and I love it. Not all Planet Fitness gyms are created equal. This gym is clean. Every time I go regardless of what time of day someone is always cleaning. The machines are all new and in perfect working order. The staff is polite and friendly. The members are courteous and focused. It really is a judgment free zone. If you haven't ever tried a Hydro massage chair, you should. It's 10 minutes of warm pressurized water that starts at your heels and goes up to your head. You can control the speed and intensity. It's a little noisy, but earbuds take care of that. Don't worry you don't get wet from the chair. That experience alone is worth the $25.00 monthly membership fee. With the gym's Black Card membership you get unlimited use of the extra amenities like the Hydro massage chairs, standard massage chairs, tanning beds or booth. When you're done working out you can shower if you choose. The water pressure is great and there's unlimited hot water. In my experience the showers have always been clean, but I always bring flip flops to wear in the shower and locker room. Overall, this gym is fantastic.

You can feel safe here in these times of COVID. I wish my house were this clean! The gym rarely has many people, so social distancing is easy.

I bounce between the Keene gym and this one. They both have their advantages and disadvantages.
I prefer the weight machines in the Brat gym, but the treadmills in the Keene gym. (The Brat treadmills turn themselves off after a minute if you're not on the tread. so if you hop to the side-rails to answer a text or adjust your music, they stop on you and you have to reset/begin all over again. It's maddening.) Otherwise the Brat gym is great.

The Brat gym is relentless about masks, while the Keene gym allows you to take it off while on cardio machines if no one is within 20 feet of you. If you want a more spacious, relaxed vibe, go to Keene. If you want a more watchful, rule-following atmosphere then use the Brat gym.

Both places insist you wipe the machines before and after use. There is always a dedicated cleaner going around cleaning everything.

I travel a lot and I have visited PF's all over the country. Their membership structure is fantastic; and the gyms are always clean, professional, and easy. I am a huge fan of PF and grateful we have these options.

I had previously left a very good review for this business. After being a member for a couple months, unfortunately, my opinion has changed...I do not typically do this but I feel that it is important to reflect an honest opinion.

I am no longer a member due to the lack of communication and the rudeness of the current staff. It seems that the only good staff that this location had, has left.

There was an issue with billing and when I called to address it, for the 2nd time, a staff member was snarky and rude. I could hear the other employees in the background laughing at what he had said to me.

I do NOT recommend using this location, which is a bummer. I had high hopes..

Awesome place.....Lots of options to chose from for weights. Zach was very helpful and informative when I visited with a friend. He gave me a tour, explained the different memberships and what features they offered.

Being a business owner myself, (working in customer service) how your customers feel when they are at your establishment is what matters most. A gym is just a gym, its good employees like Zach, that make or break a business. And this is why I will be joining the planet fitness once I return from my trip.
