Best gym in Fredericksburg, hands down. Mr Wayne is not only an incredible own person who not only takes good care of this gym, but is very active with his members & anyone who enters the gym. The staff is also very nice & personable with everyone, which is very rare in gym environments. I've been a member of Bodyworks for a year and a half now, and it's my favorite gym ever! The equipment is maintained exceptionally well. New equipment is brought in on a regular basis. The entire gym, including restrooms, locker rooms, and showers, are kept spotless. You'll find people of all ages and abilities there who all seem to be supportive of each other. Wayne, the owner, truly cares about his members. I appreciate that Bodyworks is open 24/7 with ample private parking, and the price is very reasonable especially considering the quality of the gym. I love Bodyworks!

Amazing gym with modern equipment. Everything is well taken care of by the staff and owner. Can get a bit busy around 4-7 but still manageable. Has a squat rack and one bench but with the amount of equipment there is rarely ever a time that's an issue. The crowd does seem to be mostly older but that isn't an issue. Highly recommend this gym!

Recently started going to Bodyworks and all I can say it’s a GREAT gym love the old school vibes and the equipment. The sauna is one of the best sauna I have used and best part of the gym is that it’s 24/7 and Wayne is a great guy .

Just visiting, but I can say this gym is a real Fredericksburg institution. You don't operate for 30 years through GFC and the pandemic by being lucky. It's very much a customer-focused gym, chill, and friendly. Gym equipment is varied and plentiful. Can't imagine living in downtown and not making use of this place... which means I'm going to get on my brother's case to get to the gym. :)

This gym is conveniently located in Downtown Fredericksburg. Away from the traffic. It is clean. we'll equipped and never over packed. Clean showers, and changing area. Convenient 24 hour access makes it a breeze if you are running late or need an early workout. I enjoyed going there until some injuries made me stop for a few years. Hope to be back exercising some day in the near future.

So I went to this Gym around say 10-10:30pm remaind you I caught a Uber/Lyft there as well get there doors locked which I expected so as I go to the rear as the doors stated I see the back door lock as well. Upon standing outside for like 5 mins without getting in a client comes out and states the employee’s don’t work 24/7 just the gym open BUT yet on their website nor even when you call they phones,sites says any of these things. So if you want a gym with staffing and better explanation I wouldn’t go here and btw this guy name Wayne texts me the next day at 12pm Sunday to state employees only work Mon-Thursday certain times and I explained to him what happened to me and all last night 10/7/23 at 10:30pm and he had nothing to say after that. HORRIBLE SERVICE I WOULDN’T DARE STOP HER FOR WATER if I needed too!

I'm still in the process of trying out gyms since moving to the area, but I've been using the 1 week trial period here and I just wanted to say it's a fantastic place. Wayne (the owner) is awesome and super accommodating. The gym is clean and has all the equipment you could need. It's no frills, which I think is great because it means paying for just what I want/need and not paying for the fancy extras that you only use once a year anyway. Straightforward pricing. Would definitely recommend!!

We moved to the area recently and joined this gym a couple of weeks ago. My husband and I are loving it so far. There's a sufficient number of cardio machines and has two floors with a variety of equipment. I enjoy the yoga room to do body weight and stretching on my own when it's open, which it usually is. The sauna is a huge plus for me and the price is fair for what you get.

Absolutely loved this gym. Had a variety of equipment and the upstairs has a few rooms to cycle or do smaller stretching/core workouts. Needed a gym membership for when I was home from college. Was going to do the week long membership and asked if I could add another 3 days and the owner was very accommodating! Everyone was friendly throughout and it was never too crowded!

I was in town and wanted to try this gym out before potentially moving to the area. I contacted the owner Wayne via the website and he was very responsive and personable. Absolutely zero pressure or salesman tactics to join the gym like you’d find in your standard gym. It’s truly a small town gym with a great atmosphere. Wayne offered me a trial membership for my 5-day stay. The gym has everything you could possibly need for a workout and was never too crowded even at peak hours. If I could give Wayne and his gym 6 stars I would. Facilities were great and owner is even better.

If you’re staying at the Marriott Courtyard 4 blocks down, their gym is just about useless for anyone moderately serious about exercise. This gym is only 4 blocks away!

Good gym overall, equipment is decent quality and it's rare to need to wait to use equipment. It could be improved by adding an additional squat rack and bench press as currently there is only one of each. The deadlifting "area" and equipment are lackluster so that is another drawback as well.

Nice gym, clean and really like the owner. The place is pretty small as far as gyms go. This wasn't really an issue during my first few weeks, but once summer hit the weight room has been crowded with 10 or more people even late at night. Wait times for equipment is making the value of a membership worth less in my opinion. Cardio equipment is plentiful and there is no wait. Find a way to fit more bench presses and free weight benches in and this is a 4 star place easily.

This is a wonderful gym. The place is super clean and has a wide selection of machines to chose from. They have cable machines as well as plate loaded one which is great. The place doesn't get too crowded which is nice. The staff is super friendly and they offer classes from group workout to yoga classes. Its located right in downtown which is nice if you wanna grab something to eat or do some shopping after working out.
