The plex is nice, leaving out of it is brutal!! The light to get out holds for maybe 3secs. It took over 30min leaving the parking lot after the meet. The owners should contact the city about this, the light should hold longer.

I visited the Boo Williams Sportsplex for a track event. The complex is easy to locate. The entrance area is spacious and purchasing tickets was an easy process. The ladies at the ticket window and door were very polite and helpful. The event was well organized. The concessions area was good with some food variety. I visited the merchandise shop and met Mr. William's wife. The merchandise was reasonably priced and there were some sale items. I was surprised to find a second event area on the opposite side. The only thing I would recommend is on-duty restroom attendants for both the male and female restrooms due to the amount of restroom traffic from athletes and spectators. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will continue to support the Boo Williams Sports Complex.

There are so many things wrong with this complex. The staff is rude and slow. The facility only accepts cash which is ridiculous because the concession stand can accept cards.

It's a sportsplex- but we can't bring outside drinks, coolers, etc. They want parents to pay outrageous prices at vending machines. And that's if there full. The concession stand only serves fried food and most coaches and parents are trying to serve their child athlete something a little bit healthier.

The Boo Williams bathrooms are deplorable! And that's just speaking about the men's bathroom. The sportsplex in Rocky Mount North Carolina was super clean.The cleanliness was 10 out of 10 followed by their concession stand. The sports center in Virginia Beach was super clean as well. 10 out of 10. And their concession stand has a variety of food both healthy and affordable.

The Boo Williams courts are dim the bleachers are dirty it's just horrible. And I'm from Hampton!

The whole place is beautiful and clean. I was there for physical therapy. The receptionist, Barb, was as professional and yet fun. As I waited for my appointment, I was able to watch other therapist do their jobs and was impresses. Sarah did a thorough evaluation and gave explanation and tips that were useful.

The only thing good about this place was the food at the concession stand. It was great food at great prices. We only had decent refs for 1 of our games. All others couldn't control the games and let them get out of hand and had horrible attitudes towards the players and coaches. The ladies bathroom was out of toilet paper the second day in almost all of the stalls and only a couple soap dispensers and paper towels had a little bit in them . There were no Gatorades in the vending machines and the machines were taking money and not dispensing anything if you used cash. They would not let you bring outside drinks in and concession only sold fountain drinks so had to buy from vending machines which did not work for the most part. Bleachers and spectator areas were filthy dirty and tables in the cafe area stayed dirty with no one coming by to clean them. Definitely not worth the $30 per person entry fee.

I like the indoor track but hate they can't pull many bleachers out. I also do not like the fact that you can't bring food or beverages from the outside. The only food the concession offers is fried food, and everyone doesn't want fried food, especially the athletes. I'm not saying allow people to bring a buffet in, but what is wrong with allowing spectators to bring water, fruit, and snacks? If you don't arrive at events EARLY, you will be overwhelmed with a lack of seating or being stuffed between people.

This was my first time being inside of the complex. My friend and l walked on the inside track. It is awesome. The women's bathroom is spacious and l counted at least or might be more than 22 stalls in each. It's very clean and downright gorgeous inside. The complex is opened from 9-12. It has a food court and a store inside as well as other stuff. If you want a safe place to walk, go there and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Appalled to attend a game today to find out after a player flew in the air and landed on the ground, that there was no trainer in sight to properly evaluate his condition. Instead, I had to purchase ice from the concessions stand, who informed me that there should be a trainer at the table inside the courts. I took the liberty to go back into the space the evaluate the whole space and below is the site where a trainer SHOULD have been set up for these sort of situations. Now being fully aware of this, after providing the player with the ice I had to PAY for (Again, unacceptable), I went to investigate what is really going on; to then find out there was a trainer who was set up and observing the safety of the OTHER SIDE of the building. When I asked the trainer how does this practice even make sense when both sides are not visible to observe, she informed me that she was the only one hired to be there. (SAFETY HAZARD). When I asked the staff on site manning the admissions table, she wasn’t sure either. I asked to be provided information of who is in charge of running events as this is not okay.
At the cost of $10 a person for admission, Boo Williams could do a lot more to invest in the safety of our athletes and not pocket it at the expense of their health. Please feel free to get directly in touch with me to address my concerns. I would greatly appreciate it as this facility must do better.

Great place to hold basketball tournments. Nice parking area. Nice bathroom room area. The concession stand could use a little work. Only one line open with like 2000 people in the building. There was no way to keep the basketball players from "jumping" the line to get in with the line with friends to order, which made the wait extremely longer. I ordered 2 chicken wing combos, 1 fish combo, and extra fry and a cookie. It came up to $44, which was a very good price, in my opinion. However, when i asked for an extra carton to separate one of the wings and fries, i was told i couldn't have one, nor could I buy one. The young teen handing out the food ciuldnt concentrate due to playing with the boys, and it felt like pulling teeth trying to get hot sauce and ketchup to go with my order. Chicken nor fish (which is supposed to be the best) was seasoned. Tasted really bland, and I ended up going to Freddy's after the game was finished. I think I will just stick with the vending machine next time I'm there.

My children had an event here, Staff was very insolent to my fiancé and son, Our younger son event was missed due to all of the questioning they asked in a rude manner. Being told to shut up and leave by staff and security admitting that he profiled them and (that’s just the world we live in now) After my fiancé told staff that my son had an event they can check the list to defuse the situation. multiple times …they continued to Harass them not defuse the situation by checking to see if he was Athlete, where's your uniform etc causing a humiliating scene, Like they were trying to do something illegal …the lady even trying to cause more Drama by lying saying that my fiancé threatened Security. They were profiling them because they thought my son looked older, thought that my son and his father were friends When all they had to do was check the list. Staff didn’t know how to talk respectfully nor found a simple Solution which was checking the list to see if his name was on it simple as that instead of making a humiliating scene !!!

Great place to host numerous basketball competitions, the snackbar food isn't bad, and you cannot bring in bottled water, the snackbar may be out but they have several machines so bring small bills and change and a non chip credit or check card, chip cards don't work. Disappointing 1st experience.
We arrived 30 minutes prior to the sporting event, excited to cheer on a close friend in
a track event. 1 heat.

Figured that there would be an admission fee as this is common to attend sporting events.

The admission was $12 per person
No Childrens rates and no 🏧 on site as their transaction policy is: CASH ONLY!!!
We didn’t have cash and it was too late to go to another destination to pull out cash and come back on time. The attitude toward us felt like,“too bad, so sad”.

We been attending sporting events for 10+ years and this was our first time encountering a high admission fee for an event that was not an championship game and a facility that does not offer a child rate.

Surely if the local high schools can offer cash app and credit card options, this place can get with the program and do the same. Especially with the volume of teams and patrons attending events and etc

The experience left a bitter feeling with me. We had the money and would have paid. I can only chop it up to the thought that management and owners appear to care most about profits (no fees, etc) and not the community of citizens utilizing the facility.

After going back and reading recent reviews, the price seems have increased by $1 every 3 months since August. I imagine with the recession getting worse in the near future before it gets better, prices will increase again. I recommend having cash when you go to this facility and make the effort to bring exact change, just in case.
