Started Burn in January of this year with a few friends during a promo as a way to start to be a little more active and to get out of the house since I work from home. What started as a one month promo has now extended to almost a year of going and I can now say that I hate missing workouts. I love having the community and the accountability from my friends and trainers who continue to push me farther each day. If you are considering joining I highly recommend it. You won’t regret it even if you don’t workout consistently now they meet you where you are and provide modifications for each workout. People of all skill levels attend and there is no judgement.

Burn Boot Camp Harrisonburg is an incredible place. I joined two years ago before the crazy holidays and it was the best decision. They say it takes 21 days for a habit to form and I did the 4 week trial and was hooked. Burn boot camp is a community filled with people from all walks of life. I joined Burn Boot Camp through their four-week trial program, and I quickly became obsessed! It keeps me accountable and motivated to work out 4–5 days a week. Burn Boot Camp has truly transformed how I view fitness—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. Burn Boot Camp is the real deal. I have been to different gyms and I just never really felt comfortable and like “this is it.” Within a month I feel stronger, better, my mind is clear, my anxiety is minimized, and I look forward to going to the gym. It’s not just the gym that I love, it’s the people. The community there is a real thing and they are all so supportive. Every time I walk through those doors it’s smiles, high fives, encouragement, and support the entire time. Even outside of Burn the community is still there for you. One thing that sticks in my head that I hear the trainers say almost ever class is :If it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you.” This experience has been a challenge for me for sure. I had no leg strength, my back hurt no matter what workout I did, everything was hard, and there were two occasions I cried. Not because of Burn because of my doubt in myself. Things that I hated because they were to hard are now easier for me to do. I absolutely LOVE this place and would 100% recommend it any chance I get. Burn is my favorite part of the day. I get to be around people who support me and believe in me and know why I’m there and the struggles I’m dealing with. I have noticed some small changes in my body too and already at 1 month gotten compliments on changes others see in me too. I am so glad I gave this place a chance and I am so excited about my future. If you read this review and you are scared to move forward, trust my words and give it go!!

Little bit of a long post. If you are thinking about making a lifestyle change I highly encourage you to visit Burn Boot Camp. They are always running specials and its worth it. On site child care is a game changer as well. No more worrying about who's gonna watch our child while we focus on us. The staff who watch the children are amazing and great with kids.
Today I was not feeling it. It crossed my mind to take a rest day and recoup but from what? I had a few days where I ate like crap and when I weighed in at biolife I had gained everything back which granted was 4 pounds but I felt discouraged.
But then I thought about pre burn boot camp and how I feel after 3 weeks completed. I'm not out of breath walking up the stairs at work, I recover my breath much quicker while mowing for my parents, and I'm not a cranky miserable person.
I push mowed an entire yard for the first time in 10 years. I kept a burn mentality and just chopped away at it until I was done.
I usually dont stick with stuff after 1 week. I usually start strong and don't see results and quit because I think what's the point. Genetics are fighting against me and I'm fighting a losing battle was my mindset. I reached 350 pounds and honestly was shocked because I never thought I would reach that weight. But when your not monitoring your eating, eating out at fast food or restaurants a lot, eating ice cream late night, energy drinks every day, and not doing any exercise at all it creeps up on you.
I had given up on getting healthy. I dont and never have liked fruits or vegetables so my choices have always been limited. My mind set has been pessimistic and just getting used to being the way I am. Accept it and move on.
But then burn boot camp came into my life. My wife signed up for the free trial and I figured I would go to help with her anxiety. After that first class (metcon and one of the more difficult ones) I looked at her and said what did you get is in to. After class Grady checked in with us and asked us to come to the next class and just see how it goes. I think he could sense we were thinking about just forgetting the whole thing. We made the promise to come the next day and give it another shot.
Fast forward to today. I'm feeling stronger, more clear headed, less anxious, more determined, and I have hope for a better future for myself to be the best father and husband for my girls. I went from hopeless to hopeful in not even a month of doing this and I hope every one of you I have had the pleasure of interacting with know the high fives, the recognition, the cheering each other on, the compliments all mean the world to me and I am looking forward to continuing my journey with burn boot camp. Tori, Kayden, and Grady you all are such an inspiration and inspire me to challenge myself. Sometimes we all need that one push to get going and believe in ourselves and Tori did that tonight for me. I'll never forget that.

I cannot recommend Burn Bootcamp enough! From the moment I joined, I knew this was the right place for me, largely thanks to the incredible trainers (shout out to Nathan, Keyvon, and Holly)! Their energy and genuine encouragement make every workout session a challenge, but one you feel so good tackling! Strength days are my FAVE, and the conditioning days aren’t as fun for me, but push me to my limits and leave me feeling immensely satisfied and strong!
The atmosphere here is incredible, thanks in no small part to the AMAZING music that keeps us all motivated! I catch myself dancing way too often! The facility itself is clean, with everything set up and ready to go, allowing me to focus solely on my workout! The BAs deserve a special shout-out too; their encouragement and support for every member truly make the you feel like you belong.
One of the top reasons I chose Burn Bootcamp was the Childwatch service. It’s been fantastic for my daughter, who has a safe and fun place to play while I work out. Knowing she’s in good hands allows me to truly immerse myself in my workouts and leave the camp feeling stronger every day. Burn is not just a "gym" or a place to work out. It truly is a community of amazing people that will encourage you to be your absolute best. Not only will you get a great workout but you will leave with a new confidence in yourself.
The trainers are the best, if you need to modify a exercise because of a injury limitation, pregnancy or whatever the reason they are there for you and will continue to check with you. Jen is great at keeping me motivated and safe from injury.

I wish I could remember all the wonderful things that have happened at Burn since I signed up for the 4 week trial in January. I’ve never been someone who worked out. I loathed it and felt defeated every time I joined a gym. I signed up for BeachBody and I even worked with a personal trainer via zoom during the pandemic. I abandoned those ideas quickly and gave up on the idea that I’d find a good fit. I have a 3&5 year old and assumed I’d just wait until they were older before I could focus on time for myself. I was so wrong. The child watch that’s available is amazing and makes attending Burn possible. My kids beg to come to the “gym” with me and they look forward to it almost as much as I do.
Burn is one of the most inclusive, supportive, kind and attentive places I’ve ever been to. I’m coming 5 days a week and I drive over 30 minutes to come.
The trainers are amazing. Hannah has come and gotten a knot out of my shoulder so I could finish a set. Kelly showed me how to correctly finish a set of lifts that I just couldn’t figure out. Marcellus challenges me and roots me on. Everyone else cheers for me, loves my kids and goes out of their way to welcome me and my kids everyday.

After going through a very hard divorce, and having the roughest year of my life in 2021, I decided I needed a change. Hiking would help me mentally on weekends, and in the nicer months I'd try to road ride and mountain bike, but I needed something more steady because exercise helps my mental health more than anything.
I decided to sign up in January when they were doing the $69 trial and I loved it instantly. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind. Also two high school classmates go there and I've reconnected with them, which is an added bonus.
The coaches are amazing and push you, but also notice if you need help in areas (I have a bad elbow due to breaking it when young) they will set up focus meetings with you one on one to plan on how to help you physically, and mentally as well. The cost is high for this gym, but you definitely get your moneys worth.
I really wish I signed up last year. It definitely would have been a healthy alternative to how deeply depressed I was. Thank you Burn family for helping a girl out, without even knowing how much you've helped a girl out. Love it here.

I’ve been a member at every single gym in the area. What you get at Burn, is nothing like any other gym. The trainers create an environment that is inviting and motivating. You immediately feel like a part of the team and the culture the minute you walk in. I have never felt so encouraged by other members, like I do here. Every day someone is encouraging me to pick up heavier, do one more burpee, or hug me when they know my life has been flipped upside down. I have worked out here post hand surgery and breast surgery and the trainers have helped me to modify so I don’t have to sit out on exercise. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It has pulled me out of a shell that I was stuck in for a long time. I have confidence I have never had before and I have life long friends that have my back every day. I have been attending Burn for almost 1 year. It's the best place I have ever had a membership. I enjoy the coaches, the high fives and the encouragement. I enjoy getting up in the mornings just so I can go to Burn! What an unsurpassed team of coaches and staff and unexpected support, encouragement and positive energy from burn sisters and brothers! Burn Boot Camp intrigued me in January 2019 during a Raise the Bar challenge. A couple friends (Burn sisters) recommended I sign up for the trial and I stayed (even through a strange 2020) because it helps me manage that little nagging voice inside. It is my way to put aside my thoughts for 45 minutes and get physical to burn off the anxiety and stresses of each day.
I look forward to seeing those gains as the weeks and months progress in my health and fitness journey. I look forward to the accomplished feeling...the afterburn feeling.
Even if I push myself out of bed for the 5:30 am sunrise crew camp or I am already wake already I know it is worth to get going to feel stronger and have a positive start to the day!
Burn Boot Camp Harrisonburg is a gym that is flexible with getting different formats of content to you, works hard on the camp lineups, offers checkins, pushes you in all the right ways or helps you modify. The curated music is amazing too to really get into the workout.

I highly recommend Burn Boot Camp. I started working out at Burn when they first opened in April of 2017. I was always into athletics growing up, all the way through college. Once I started a family, my priorities shifted from myself to my kids and I stopped taking the time to care for myself. Burn Boot Camp helped me stay motivated and I learned that I have to also take time for myself. I LOVE working out and feeling athletic again. It's the first time in a long time that exercise is something I look forward to, not feel like I have to do.
There are many things I love about working out there. Workouts are always challenging and never boring. I can honestly say that I have never done the same workout twice. Another thing to love is the community! There are women there of all ages and fitness levels and everyone seems supportive of one another. The trainers are also amazing! They will help you modify your workout to meet your fitness and ability level. Trainers are knowledgeable, upbeat, and motivating. We are lucky to have them here in Harrisonburg! I would recommend it to anyone looking to get or stay in shape.

I LOVE Burn. The support from the trainers and the other ladies is the reason I kept coming back. I did the two week trial back in May 2019 and I have been hooked ever since. The workouts are KILLER but in the best way possible. The trainers are the absolute best. They are so encouraging and help you succeed NO MATTER your fitness level. I'm doing things now that I never thought possible, and never felt so strong in my life. If you are hesitant to try, just DO it! You won't regret it, I promise.

I have been going to Burn Boot Camp since Jan 2019. I was a little skeptical coming to Burn from a CrossFit fitness program but I absolutely love it. I try to go 5-6 times a week and the workouts are NEVER the same! The music is good, the coaches are amazing and so helpful, and the community of women and men that go to Burn is insane! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and all while pushing you to do your best! Thank you Burn! I look forward to every class!

Burn Bootcamp is an incredibly motivating and encouraging environment. All levels of physical fitness are not only welcomed and accepted but celebrated. The trainers do a fantastic job of providing modifications for each exercise. I felt like I belonged the moment I walked through the door!

I have done so many different training programs and gyms and have never found the community and support that BBC has. The trainers are so encouraging and never let you feel discouraged. They always meet where you are, while pushing you to your best self. The community of women they are creating daily is so wonderful. I’m so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone and found this space to improve.

Burn Boot Camp is amazing! The trainers treat you as if one-on-one training, pushing you to do your best! The focus meetings help you stay accountable, and the challenges, are well, challenging, yet helps push you out of your comfort zone, yielding results! Joining Burn Boot Camp has been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health. The trainers and staff are knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging, always pushing us to be our best and to help lift each other up. They work with everyone on an individual level and always make accommodations for any physical limitations. I currently have a stress fracture but still get an awesome workout in because the trainers modify what I can't do to help maximize my time there. The atmosphere is always uplifting and fun, and the workouts are always different so no one can get bored. I always leave feeling energized and ready to tackle the rest of my day.

I signed up for the 30 days free trial when they 1st open. I was scared 1st and thought that I was not going to be able to do the exercises. Being there, I realize that was just me putting that in my mind. They help me and you learn how to push yourself and not let you mind beat you that you can’t do. I do not regret going into my 30 day trail and being a member there.

I am so glad I took the chance and tried the 30 day free trial. In that 30 days I completely fell in love with Burn and decided to commit as a member. The trainers are extremely helpful in anyway they can be. This includes everything from personal goals, nutrition, mod ups or mod downs for exercises. My first day I was at my heaviest weight I had ever been and the most out of shape I had ever been with no motivation. Currently I average 4-5 classes per week and have also ran two 5ks in the past 3 months! This is a huge accomplishment for me and the added weightloss and inches gone is a nice bonus. I feel healthier and stronger everyday, and to say this place is life changing would be an understatement. If your on the fence about trying Burn Boot Camp give it a shot. We love seeing our Burn family grow! 💙

Its hard to get up early and go to a gym, its also hard to go after working all day long, but for some crazy reason its not hard to get up and get to burn. Not only do I keep coming back for the great work outs and kickass trainers, but also for the great ladies that go to burn. Its only been open since April, but once you start going these ladies quickly become sisters.

So glad I found this place! Works with my schedule! 45 min. Camps are way more manageable than 1:30hr workout session with a regular trainer. You can go whenever you want. The trainers are amazing and they really help you meet your goals! They don’t only focus on fitness, they look at the whole picture so results last! If you’re even thinking about going...(which you are cause you’re reading this) JUST DO IT! The first two weeks are free so what do you have to lose?

I saw a picture of myself after a trip to Disney World in June and I realized at my age I needed to lose weight and get healthy. I saw an ad on Facebook for Commit to Fit at Burn Boot Camp and I thought why not give it a try. My neighbor and I signed up for the 6 week camp and I loved it and joined Burn after my six week camp. I love all the trainers and how they help each individual with their journey and encourage you to keep going even when you want to give up! I highly recommend Burn Boot Camp and I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and joined. Love all my Burn Sisters I have met on my fitness journey!

Burn Boot Camp is the BEST!
I resisted my dietitian's suggestions of joining a gym because I absolutely hated the idea of spending time on a treadmill. Then I stumbled across a friend's pictures from Burn Boot Camp. I checked out their camp videos and decided to contact my friend to get more info. She convinced me to give the free 14 day trial a try. I got a jump on the free trial by attending one of the Saturday morning free public camps. I left there feeling GREAT. Then Monday evening I started the trial and haven't looked back! Everything about Burn Boot Camp is FABULOUS! The trainers and other members are SUPER SUPPORTIVE and welcoming. You don't have to feel self conscious at Burn Boot Camp! The workouts are fun (yes,I said fun) and challenging. You leave feeling great and wanting to come back. Joining Burn Boot Camp was definitely one of the BEST decisions I made in my journey of self improvement! 🔥💪💙
