Really great gym. Staff here literally cleans the floor twice every time I'm here. Super clean best military gym in 757 my one gripe is that it's really hard for you to deadlift 500+ lbs cuz the weights are in a really annoying rack. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I like this gym. The employees are really nice and everything is clean and maintained. The locker room is also really nice and clean with a decent amount of lockers. I can get my entire workout done with the variety of equipment available.

This is the cleanest and best maintained workout facility in Tidewater. The staff cares about their patrons and it shows disinfectant and paper towels are always present and someone is constantly cleaning. They have the latest fitness machines plus all the old standards in the weight room. Showers are well kept too. Thank you for all you do for the fleet, workers, and retirees.

Really nice and clean MWR gym. The staff there is very helpful. The gym is very large. It’s has a free 24 hour option that you have to sign up for. The process was very fast. I think this is my new close to home gym. Thank you guys for being awesome!

Nice gym with a wide variety of equipment and rooms but the 1st floor men's locker room has a terrible odor every time I go there regardless of peak hours or not. I highly recommend air freshers and bleach to be used in the men's locker and restrooms.

A pretty solid gym, they've got a little bit of everything. Kinda wish the free weight section was bigger but it's not too bad for a gym on a navy base. The staff is always super polite and the in-house trainers are incredibly knowledgeable

I've always enjoyed this gym. It's not as busy as other base gyms, and has everything you need. Cardio room, floor for weight lifting, active basketball court, and a sauna. Also every time I have visited Callaghan the staff has been very pleasant.

Pretty little shop in Sugar house. They have anything from garden nick nacks to bird feeders/bird feed. They were helpful with purchasing a beautiful wind chime for my mom from their large selection.

Every TV in this gym has CNN, The View, or NBC news at 1230… when inquiring about changing the TV, the response was rude and offended while saying “we don’t change the TVs here.” Liberal indoctrination at its finest here. Who wants to watch The View while working out?! Comical.

It's packed, gym is much smaller than the gyms on Norfolk naval stations, but they do have a sizeable basketball court and racquet ball courts. Plenty of carsio equipment only downside is that you can only use the main weightlifting room for 45mins max

Great gym for military, retirees and dependants. Lots of free weights, hammer strength macines and dumbbells up to 140 lbs. Has a big variety of cardio equipment, 2 raquetball courts, a basketball court and a room for CrossFit. My only complaint is that fitness classes are not on a regularly scheduled basis.

People working up front are very rude and act like they don’t want to do their jobs, worse experience I had in the gym, totally ruined my vibe and motivation. Asked for a Gatorade and was greater with so much hate. This problem needs to be fixed.

The hours of this gym are awful and unpredictable. Today they decided the gym was closing at 19 because the weather was bad, and jusitifed it by putting signs up all over the gym. How am I supposed to know if that's my first time that day? Most days I work till 2000 and can't make it. The weekend hours at 8 and 7 hours open. This is not the first time the already short hours have been shortened without a days notice.
