My daughter started about six months ago, and I have to say, this place has much more affordable prices compared to The Little Gym, where she was before. On top of that, they’re really flexible with scheduling, which is a big help when she has to miss a class.

The staff is always so friendly and even knows my daughter by name, which makes it feel personal and welcoming. The gym itself is spacious and offers exercises that are truly helping her grow her cheerleading skills.

What I love most is that she always has a great time. At the end of the day, the most important thing about practicing a sport is that you enjoy the environment and have fun and she absolutely does.

I’m so grateful we found this place, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

This gym and coaching staff goes above and beyond to welcome new athletes into the world of cheerleading/tumbling! My daughter tried cheer for the first time this year and was placed on a prep team. I can’t say enough good things about this place. I never commented on coastal All Stars cheerleading. I had left a comment for Virginia wild All Star cheerleading and dance. The owners switched hands and changed their name so I have no comment on coastal because I never experienced them. I only experienced the professionalism and the athleticism and the brilliance of what Rick and his team brought to the girls and their cheerleading experiences throughout the years. We were with Virginia Wilde here and dance for 8 years and sadly they switched hands to which I cannot comment on but I never commented on coastal ever.

Went on a Tuesday for the free play for 1 to 6 year Olds. My son is 2 and he had a great time. Very easy going. Place is well set up. Could use some cleaning and some updates maybe but overall I'd go back 😄

Being new to Virginia Beach we searched and did several trial classes before committing to a gym. Our 6 year old comes from a ballet/dance background but decided she wants to do competition cheer. At first we were hesitant because she has a sensory processing disorder and sometimes adults don't exercise patience with her or understand why she struggles with things that come easily to others but I'm glad we made the decision to join this team of athletes. Our daughter loves it so much! Her tumbling 1 coaches are amazing! When she started she could not do a cartwheel (her balance is not too well and she lacked the confidence to trust herself) after a few classes she can and is confident in her balance now. She loves having the older cheerleaders that assist the classes as well. From the sweet receptionist that greets everyone with an amazing smile to the coaches I have met, this is an amazing place so far! We are looking forward to watching her learn and advance here. She can't wait to go to "Nationals" one day with Coastal lol.

My two daughters and I have been part of the Coastal All Stars family for the past year. The gym has gone through a period of growth and restructuring, and for the past couple months has been in the hands of highly knowledgeable, professional, committed, and organized owners. Their dedication to the athletes and determination to make the gym thrive is truly admirable. Coastal Athletic All Stars, is an amazing family friendly cheer organization. My daughter been in competitive cheer for a over 5 years. The Leadership and Coaches here are amazing; very caring and experienced. My daughter has progressed in her confidence and tumble skills. okay this gym has broken my child’s spirt of cheer. Once wild got bought out we decided to do another season, the first seven months she broke her ankle no support from coaches no appolgies nothing we made the decision to leave but the old coaches are amazing Lindsey, Jacobo, Emmy. Also this program got threw my child’s meantal block but do not recommend this program.

My daughter has been at the gym for the past 4 years. Coastal was recently purchased in Feb 2022 and I can not be more amazed at how wonderful the last month has been. Both my children attend coastal for 2 years. The owners and staff are AWESOME. My son has unique needs, and I am very grateful to the coaches and staff and owners, for taking their time with him and going that extra step. My daughter has been cheering for 4 1/2 years and loves that she can master her skills with the guidance of her coaches. I see great things shortly for this gym. We joined Coastal last year shortly after The Glover’s purchased and changed the name. It was the first year our 5 year would be doing competitive cheer. She loved it so we decided to keep her there another and see where it goes… yes the coaches have changed but for my daughter it has been for the better. The new coach Ryann focuses on the minis, is so patient, always is positive and communicates with me. She has sent out at home stretches and helpful tips to do for tumbling at home. My daughter loves to do them and has progressed so much.
We love the Coastal family and can not wait for this season and the next after that.

Coastal Athletic Training Facility is not somewhere your child progresses and learns. My child was made to condition for 2 hours at the age of 7 years old to the point she almost threw up and was in so much pain the next day. The coaching staff is inconsistent and the owners fire coaches left and right and bring in unqualified coaching staff. Mr. & Mrs. Glover are two of the most disrespectful, lying & money hungry gym owners I have ever encountered. My daughter lost her love of all star cheer being in the gym that used to be home before Tammy Glover bought the gym. The gym is the most dysfunctional gym we as a family had ever been a part of and I truly fear for the safety and well being of all the children in that gym. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHILDREN GO TO THIS GYM IT IS DISGUSTING HOW THEY TREAT THESE KIDS.

I love my coach and the staff. My skill level has progressed in the last couple of months. I love that the gym is a drama-free gym. My Brother has joined the pre-prep half-year team and tumbling classes and loves it. In just over a month, he has mastered some of the necessary skills. Coastal Athletic Training is the best gym in the 757 area. So bring your kids to the gym. They have lots of different tumbling classes, and Prep skill classes Spot fill fast. But I am so thankful for the team, parent coaches, and staff. For taking care of my needs. My parents are so grateful for Coastal Athletics for following the CDC guidelines
