Formerly CrossFit SAW, CrossFit Anazao began in September 2018 with new ownership. We offer over 35 class options each week to meet your needs. Our facility, located just minutes from Interstate 64, is comprised of nearly 3000 square feet with private parking and bathrooms. We have the top of the line equipment and lots of it to accommodate classes of all sizes. Our staff is made up of highly experienced and qualified coaches who hold a variety of certifications that make us the most diverse gym in the area.

Class was great! I love the attention to technique. Those small changes here and there are really impactful. I also love how there are different options for different levels of fitness and certain injuries. I have a knee injury and have to be mindful of certain movements, instead of having to skip out on certain exercises all together I'm always given other options whether its tweaking my form, frequency, or given another exercise option that still focuses on the area but not as intense. Looking forward to the next class!

The moment I stepped foot into Anazao, I felt like family.
I have been welcomed, encouraged and (yes) challenged!
I am so grateful for the safe space Ben and his staff create here.
I love that the coaching is consistent across the board. I started Anazao with almost no knowledge of lifting or using crossfit equipment.
Movements are taught every class to make sure your technic is correct, and you can be successful during the workout.
Coaches are great to find alternatives if the movement is out of your ability.
Every member is actively coached no matter how long they have attended.
The only regret I have is not starting sooner!
This is the place to be! No need to think about your workout. Just walk through the door.

Ben does a fantastic job at explaining the workout and reviewing each movement. He’s very attentive to each person while, as a class, are working on each step of a movement to ensure proper form. He is quick to help you adjust and lets you know when you’ve got it right! He’s quick to call you out and say what you did great at. Like “ Heather, nice fast elbows, or “great catch” or “nice shrug”! That’s the stuff that keeps a person motivated and knowing that they’re doing it right! He has such a great attitude and is full of jokes that makes the atmosphere fun no matter how hard the workout may be. He really cares about each person and is very passionate at what he does. It defiantly shows in his coaching style. I enjoy watching him help people be better and being a cheerleader that makes you want to be better!

Ben has set up a fantastic CrossFit community at Anazao. It is the perfect blend of encouragement to push yourself with an understanding that we all have limitations.
The coaches are amazing!!! They are all VERY knowledgeable and they deeply care about our safety and improvement. They are able to adapt the workout to fit any ability level. We have a member who they helped push to the quarterfinals of the CF Open this year. We also have a 75 y/o with a broken leg who is able to continue her workouts because Ben and the coaches have adapted her workouts to accommodate her injury. That range shows that they really can help anyone achieve their fitness goals.
CF Anazao is more than just a gym. They schedule social events like an ice cream social and a golf outing as well as arranging for members to compete at CF events at nearby CF gyms. CF Anazao is truly a welcoming community that I feel so fortunate to be a part of.

When my son brought me to visit this gym, I thought that would be the end of that. But Ben and the coaching staff are so caring and helpful, I joined and have been loving it! Everyone is so encouraging, especially when I'm struggling to perform the moves, and we adapt the moves I cannot do. Yet! I feel I am getting stronger and fitter, slowly but surely. I appreciate that no one wants to see me get injured, but to advance at my own pace; they do not push me past what I am ready for. There are so many levels of fitness in the athletes attending, but no one looks down on anyone else for not being at the highest levels. There are certainly friendly competitions to help push us past our comfort zone, but no judgement, just support and encouragement. Thanks Ben, and all the coaches, for having patience with this out-of-shape athlete!

It was intimidating walking into something new for the first time, but Everyone is friendly and welcoming! Ben has set up a positive CrossFit Anazao community. The coaches are truly exceptional, non-judgmental, and understanding. As someone who always had preconceived notions of what CrossFit was about, I very reluctantly went with my wife on a friends and family day. I was shocked to see such a welcoming group of people. Everyone was there to just get better, stronger, or just feel apart of an amazing group.
The owners and coaches are so supportive to help create, manage and push you to your goals. Making sure to train and coach the fundamentals before moving on.
After a few months the owner asked how my cardio was. I said “better, but I really can tell my body getting stronger”. Then I thought about it, my confidence is getting the strongest. He also told me the hardest thing you will do here is getting through that door the first time.
It is not for everyone. However, I can’t recommend it enough. And I can only give Anazao CrossFit 5 Starts because that is the highest the ratings go. 😀

Having patient and non-judgmental coaches makes such a difference, especially when you’re learning new techniques. Not needing to plan your workout is a huge plus—just showing up and knowing the workout is ready saves lot of time and mental energy. The community aspect is often what makes CrossFit so unique; building friendships and encouraging each other can be really motivating. Being able to track your progress in their app is a great way to stay motivated too! This gym is awesome - the coaches go above and beyond

My two teenage sons (17&16) have been training at Anazao since they were 12 as a way to stay in shape during their sports off season & gain strength in a safe, age appropriate way. The Anazao coaches always make sure that my boys know the correct way to perform a skill & its purpose for their personal goals before any workout begins. The time they take to build personal relationships with their athletes made my boys excited to condition despite the physical challenge because they feel supported & not judged. In fact once they got their license they chose to get up at 5:00 AM each morning before school to get a workout in because it’s fun & doesn’t feel like a chore. It’s also not uncommon to see a Anazao coach at my boy’s sporting events cheering them on & seeing the work they’ve put in result in growth as athletes. If you or your athlete wants an environment that promotes a community of support, a safe workout & fun all while working hard then Anazao is where you need to be!

The coaches at this gym are truly exceptional. They take the time to understand your individual fitness level and goals, and they meet you exactly where you are. I never felt pressured to do more than I was capable of, yet I was always encouraged to push my limits safely. Their personalized approach ensured that I was progressing at a pace that was right for me, which boosted my confidence tremendously.
What stands out the most is the sense of community. Everyone, from the most seasoned athletes to the newest members, is supportive and encouraging. It's not just about working out; it's about working together. There’s a genuine sense of care and mutual respect that makes you look forward to each session.

Since joining at the very end of 2023, I've seen improvement in the following areas of my health (pyhsical and mental):
1. I'm stronger - Every motion we do (and there are plenty) I've experienced increases in weight used and/or time to complete a Metcon. With Wodify, it's easy to track, too.
2. I've lost a few lbs... just a few, but considering 1 lb of fat takes up more room than 1 lb of muscle, I'm looking better. I estimate I've lost 8 lbs of fat but gained 5 lbs of muscle. I ain't no Dr, though, so who knows.
3. I have made friends and I'm happier. I get support from all the coaches, and just as important, the other athletes at CrossFit Anazao. I've been to one other CrossFit gym and the difference is remarkable here. It's a great environment.
4. I struggled with Vertigo (with accompanying dizziness and nausea from a brain tumor - surgically removed in 2009) - since around 2005. It hasn't been easy, but through persistance in motions, I've been able to reduce both dizzyness and nausea for the first time in 15 years. For that, I'm very thankful, and hopeful to continually improve.
5. I feel more confident and I look better (to me). I don't care what the rest of ya'll think. :)
6. Finally, I'm preparing myself to age better. At 45 yrs old, my body isn't what it used to be, but with more muscle and less fat, I'm in a better position to slow down the aging process, and be able to face any challenges medically shoud they arise, and I can stay more active and do more things.

I started my CrossFit journey about 4 months ago when some of my co-workers encouraged me to try it out. Im super glad that I walked through the doors of this gym…after meeting Ben, all of the coaches, and all of the wonderful workout friends, I knew I was at the right place. I’ve had so much fun learning new movements and pushing my body. The coaches are truly there for you, they will assist you at whatever level you are at, help make modifications or help push you further. I know many people that do "crossfit" but most notably my nephew, who I admire a great deal. He encouraged me to take the plunge in December '2022 and I'm so happy I did! I knew upon walking into the gym and meeting Ben for the first time that I would love it here and I wasn't' wrong. The coaches are nothing short of amazing. Their instincts are spot on! Having been a member for 5 months I wanted to share my honest opinion and help others make an informed decision.
First and foremost, I want to commend CrossFit Anazao for fostering a strong sense of community. The camaraderie among members and the support from the coaches have truly made a positive impact on my fitness journey. The encouragement and motivation I receive during workouts have pushed me to achieve new levels of strength and endurance.
As an athlete, I also appreciate the variety and intensity of the workouts. The programming at this CrossFit gym is well-balanced, incorporating a diverse range of exercises and movements. This has kept my workouts engaging and prevented monotony, which has always been a concern with other fitness programs that I’ve tried. The emphasis on functional fitness has helped me improve my overall physical capabilities and carry over those gains into my daily life.
Moreover, the coaches at this facility deserve special recognition. Their expertise, attentiveness, and dedication to proper form and technique have been instrumental in minimizing the risk of injury. Their ability to provide individualized modifications and scaling options based on your fitness level and abilities has made me feel supported and safe throughout my CrossFit journey.
Even if you don’t understand the group nature of CrossFit, it is beneficial to have options for individualized programming or specific goal-oriented training. The atmosphere caters to the diverse needs and aspirations of all members.
Additionally, I appreciate the transparency regarding membership costs and pricing structures. Clear communication about membership options and any additional fees is extremely helpful for potential new members who are considering joining a CrossFit gym.
In conclusion, I have had a largely positive experience with the CrossFit business and specifically CrossFit Anazao. The sense of community, well-designed workouts, and knowledgeable coaches have made it a worthwhile investment in my fitness journey. If you’re on the fence about joining, reach out and get setup up for a trial run. There’s no pressure. All you have to do is show up, be coachable, and let others help you reach your goals.

I have been a member for three months now. I hesitated to join at first because I thought I would not be able to CrossFit. After my initial meeting with Ben (owner/coach) at CrossFit Anazao, I felt more at ease with the idea of doing CrossFit. He was able to answer all my questions and continues to do so til this day. I have been at Crossfit Anazao a short 3 months but have grown tremendously with the help of the amazing staff/coaches as well as the fellow members. The coaches pay close attention to every member, watching their form, scaling needs, and overall performance of each moment throughout the workout. I love this place ! The coaches are phenomenal, there is a great group of people that motivate and it’s all levels of fitness !!! There is great communication and assistance at a professional level . I have done a lot of different routines played many sports and after the Covid stay at home I really felt depressed and doing my own routine was just not cutting it I was so happy to give this a try I needed the motivation and push of group atmosphere I’m naturally not a group person but felt I needed to do get out of my comfort zone and it was the best move I made … I do travel a lot for work and they have workouts you can apply when you can’t make it to class there are variety of times that can fit just about every schedule . If you are in a rut tired of doing the same ol same ol this is the place to make a change !!!!

I’ve been going for about three months. Before joining this gym, I was inconsistent with exercise. I needed more than weights. I needed fitness to feel like an adventure again. Anazao built a culture of trainers and members that prevents stagnation. Last summer I was at a crossroads as far as my fitness goes. What I was previously doing, wasn’t doing any justice for me. But I didn’t know which way to turn. I was invited by my boss to try Anazao. I was quite hesitant due to the fact that everyone was doing CrossFit and I’m not into doing what’s “trendy”. But I decided to drop in and see how I liked it. Well, I haven’t left since.
I enjoy everything at Anazao: the workouts, friendly atmosphere, schedule flexibility, all of the coaches are super knowledgeable, the equipment that’s available, and more.
Shortly after I started, my husband started as well and enjoys it just as much as I do.
I started seeing results shortly after I started and it’s quite addicting to see how much more can I accomplish. Even my son started this week and loves it so far.

I joined CrossFit Saw in 2014 what I like from the very 1st Day were the coaches ( Jason Davis , Jesse Heller, his wife KR Allen Heller)
and then in August of this year after YEARS of giving there total Commitment and the crazy hours they put in plus raising a family & all working full time jobs , Saw was taken over by Ben Lancaster ( new name , new paint job etc. Now it’s called “CROSSFIT ANAZAO”
Ben from the very first day was ALL IN .
as with the past coaches anyone that has ever try to run a Business you have to be ALL IN
Unlike a lot of gym you will get personnel 1 on 1 help

I've been with SAW for 6 months. I was nervous about joining a new box when I moved here - I had been with a very tight group previously and was worried I wouldn't have the same experience.
I shouldn't have been worried. Crossfit SAW is a box with a tight and friendly community, and is a great facility that is well equipped. The coaches are spot on, the programming excellent and entertaining and is always scalable to fit a diverse range of athletic ability and ages. I love that there are people there I can relate to and be inspired by.

Ive tried some local boxes and this is the one I choose to belong to.. The coaching is on point. The members very welcoming. Everyone is at a different level of fitness and that's ok.. there is a warm up.. Skill/lifting.. WOD.. and a cool down/stretch.. All done with in 60 mins. Also this box has Wodify, which i personally love.. So I can see me getting stronger and not having to remember what exactly my weights need to be on different lifts.. The best part about Crossfit SAW is that it truly is for everyone. Before coming here, I didn't consider myself an athlete. They made me believe that I was one. Every day, they challenge me to be the best version of myself, and the other athletes are supportive and nonjudgmental.
They really cater to families as well-- discounts for couples, a kids fitness program, and a children's area safe for little ones.

I've never been a 'gym person' but this is no ordinary gym. This is a community who truly cares about each member and wants you to be your best. The coaches are amazing and push you to reach your goals. The members encourage each other and keep you going during a tough workout. Ever wanted something more out of fitness? Like a group of people that become friends and ones you get to share memories with? If so, then you MUST try out SAW. After coming to the area a little over a year ago, my best decision was to become a member here. I consistently see results thanks to the great coaching staff and my gym family which are my biggest motivators. I've been a part of SAW since almost the beginning and have loved every moment! I came looking to amp up my workouts and increase my upper body strength. They went way beyond my expectations-not only have I met goals, but I've also found a great community of people that constantly push me to be better. Love this place! It isn't like any other "gym" we've been to. It took me longer than anyone else in the group to get all 3 rounds completed, but never once did I feel judged. Everyone is so encouraging and the trainers are awesome! Everyone should come here at least once to try it out - but be warned, you'll probably get hooked on it too!

SAW isn't just exercise, it's support and encouragement from a caring crossfit community. From day one I knew this was my new home. You can't beat the coaching staff!! They cater to all types of learners and are the most knowledgeable and caring coaches in the area! When I began crossfit 2 years ago, I was straight off the couch and out of shape with zero knowledge of what crossfit even was but it didn't matter. When my wife and myself just walked in one day to get some info, Jesse and Katri were extremely considerate and took time to tell us what SAW was all about. We signed up for the 101 with Jason and became hooked. If you want to learn form, technique and have a blast getting in shape, then SAW is where you need to be. All the coaches(Jason,Jesse, Katri) are extremely knowledgable and will show you the correct way to lift weight. Don't waste money going to a regular gym, because if you were like me, I was lifting all wrong, and prone to injury. The great thing about SAW is you get personal coaching EVERY class. One of the best investments I have made is at this box. Keep up the great work SAW!
